Abstract
Description
本発明の実施形態によるポリマーブレンドは、エチレンと、本明細書で指定されるある特定の特徴を有するメチルアクリレートおよびエチルアクリレートのうちの少なくとも1つと、本明細書で指定されるある特定の特徴を有するポリオレフィンと、を含む、コポリマーを含む。参照を容易にするために、エチレンと、メチルアクリレートおよびエチルアクリレートのうちの少なくとも1つと、を含む、コポリマーはまた、本明細書では、「エチレン/(m)エチルアクリレートコポリマー」とも称され、いくつかのかかるコポリマーは、メチルアクリレートモノマーおよびエチルアクリレートモノマーの両方を含み得ることが理解される。
いくつかの実施形態では、本発明は、本明細書で開示される任意の実施形態によるポリマーブレンドから少なくとも1つの層が形成される多層構造に関する。いくつかの実施形態では、多層構造は、少なくとも2つの層を含み、各層は対向する外表面を有する。かかる実施形態では、第1の層(層A)(例えば、本発明のポリマーブレンドを含む層)は第2の層(層B)と接着接触しており、第2の層(層B)の上側外表面は第1の層(層A)の下側外表面と接着接触している。
いくつかの実施形態では、本発明は、本明細書で開示される任意の実施形態の多層構造を含むパッケージングに関する。特定の実施形態では、パッケージングは、レトルトパッケージングおよび/または滅菌パッケージングである。パッケージングは、様々な実施形態において、固体、スラリー、液体、または気体を収容するために使用することができる。限定ではなく例として、パッケージングは、酸性溶液、コーン油、アルコール、肉、チーズ、日焼け止め、シャンプー、スパイス、醤油、クリーマー、フレーバーコーヒー、ミルク、ジュース、洗剤、無菌食品、ホットフィルジュース、脂肪分の多い食品、ベビーワイプ、ヨウ素溶液、サラダドレッシング、ケチャップ、ソース、および他のアイテムを収容するために使用することができる。

本発明のいくつかの実施形態による他のポリマーブレンドも多層構造を調製するために使用することができる。かかるブレンドの例、および対応する多層構造を表7に示し、RVRおよび粘度比を表8に示す。ポリマーブレンドは、発明の実施例1〜6に関連して上記したように調製することができる。
Claims (10)
- 多層構造のためのポリマーブレンドであって、
エチレンと、メチルアクリレートおよびエチルアクリレートのうちの少なくとも1つと、を含む、コポリマーであって、前記コポリマーの重量に基づいて5〜40重量パーセントのアクリレート含有量を有し、かつ1〜60g/10分のメルトインデックス(I2)を有し、エチレンメチルアクリレートコポリマーとエチレンエチルアクリレートコポリマーとの総量が、前記ブレンドの総重量に基づいて前記ブレンドの45〜99重量パーセントを占める、コポリマーと、
0.870g/cm3以上の密度を有し、かつ20g/10分以下のメルトインデックス(I2)を有する、ポリオレフィンであって、前記ブレンドの総重量に基づいて前記ブレンドの1〜55重量パーセントを占める、ポリオレフィンと、を含む、ポリマーブレンド。 - 前記ポリオレフィンが、直鎖状低密度ポリエチレン、低密度ポリエチレン、高密度ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、またはそれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項1に記載のポリマーブレンド。
- 前記ポリオレフィンが、低密度ポリエチレンまたは直鎖状低密度ポリエチレンを含む、請求項1に記載のポリマーブレンド。
- エチレンメチルアクリレートコポリマーとエチレンエチルアクリレートコポリマーとの総量が、前記ブレンドの50重量パーセント超を占め、前記ポリオレフィンが、前記ブレンドの50重量%未満を占める、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のポリマーブレンド。
- 前記ポリオレフィンのメルトインデックス(I2)が、10g/10分未満である、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のポリマーブレンド。
- 前記ポリオレフィンの、エチレンとメチルアクリレートおよびエチルアクリレートの少なくとも1つとを含む前記コポリマーに対する相対粘度比が、<0.35である、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のポリマーブレンド。
- 少なくとも2つの層を含む多層構造であって、各層が対向する外表面を有し、
層Aが、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のポリマーブレンドを含み、
層Bが、基材を含み、層Bの上側外表面が、層Aの下側外表面と接着接触している、多層構造。 - 前記基材が、金属箔、金属化フィルム、織布マット、不織布マット、またはスクリムを含む、請求項6に記載の多層構造。
- 層Cをさらに含み、層Aの上側外表面が、層Cの下側外表面と接着接触しており、層Cが、ポリオレフィンを含む、請求項7または8に記載の多層構造。
- 10インチ/分のクロスヘッド速度でASTM F904に基づく180度剥離試験を用いて測定したとき、層Aの層Bに対する接着力が、少なくとも1.5N/インチである、請求項7〜9のいずれかに記載の多層構造。
