Abstract
Description
Claims (20)
- a.遠位端及び近位端を有するステムと、
b.前記遠位端に配置されるアンカ用インジケータと、
c.前記アンカ用インジケータの基部に配置されるバルーンと、
を備えるバルブプランニングツールであって、
前記バルーンが、
i.収縮状態と、
ii.展開状態とを含み、
前記バルーンを前記収縮状態から前記展開状態へと膨張させることができ、かつ前記バルーンが、実質的にノンコンプライアントであり、そのため、前記バルーンは単一サイズに膨張できるのみである、
ことを特徴とするバルブプランニングツール。 - 前記バルーンが圧縮性流体により膨張させることができる、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバルブプランニングツール。 - 前記圧縮性流体が空気である、
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のバルブプランニングツール。 - 前記バルーンが、ポリエーテル、ポリエーテルブロックアミド、ポリアミド、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、熱可塑性樹脂、ポリエステル、低伸縮性プラスチック、低伸縮性生体適合性プラスチック、非弾性プラスチック、非伸縮性プラスチック、又はこれらの組み合わせでできている、
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のバルブプランニングツール。 - 前記バルーンがバルブの封止部位を実質的に表す封止領域インジケータを備え、
前記封止領域インジケータは前記バルブが封止できる気道の断面長の範囲を示す、
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のバルブプランニングツール。 - 前記封止領域インジケータの直径と、前記バルブが封止できる最大の気道直径とが実質的に同一である、
ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のバルブプランニングツール。 - 前記バルーンが、楕円形、ダイヤモンド形、円形、凧形、2つを背中合わせにしたピラミッド形、又はそれらの組み合わせである長手方向軸に沿う断面を有する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のバルブプランニングツール。 - 前記バルーンが、約4mm以上、約5mm以上、約6mm以上、約7mm以上、約12mm以下、又は約10mm以下の外径を有する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のバルブプランニングツール。 - 前記アンカ用インジケータが1つ以上の突起部を備え、
前記1つ以上の突起部がアンカの振りの広がりを可視化できるように収縮状態から展開状態へと移行できる、
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載のバルブプランニングツール。 - 前記アンカ用インジケータが1つ以上の突起部を備え、
前記1つ以上の突起部が静止している、
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載のバルブプランニングツール。 - 前記1つ以上の突起部から前記バルーンの封止範囲インジケータまでの長さが、バルブの長さに相当する、
ことを特徴とする請求項9又は10に記載のバルブプランニングツール。 - 前記バルブプランニングツールが、前記突起部から前記バルブプランニングツールの前記遠位端に延在する長さインジケータを備える、
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載のバルブプランニングツール。 - 請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載のバルブプランニングツールを2つ以上含むキット。
- 前記2つ以上のバルブプランニングツールにおける第1のバルブプランニングツールが、前記キットの第2のバルブプランニングツールよりも、長い長さ、大きな直径、短い長さ、小さな直径、又はそれらの組み合わせを有する、
ことを特徴とする請求項13に記載のキット。 - 前記キットが異なる寸法の4つのバルブプランニングツールを含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項13又は14に記載のキット。 - 第1のバルブプランニングツールが約5mmの封止領域インジケータ直径、約8mmのアンカ用インジケータ直径、及び約10mmの長さを有し、
第2のバルブプランニングツールが約6mmの封止領域インジケータ直径、約9mmのアンカ用インジケータ直径、及び約11mmの長さを有し、
第3のバルブプランニングツールが約7mmの封止領域インジケータ直径、約10mmのアンカ用インジケータ直径、及び約12mmの長さを有し、
第4のバルブプランニングツールが、約9mmの封止領域インジケータ直径、約12mmのアンカ用インジケータ直径、及び約12mmの長さを有する、
ことを特徴とする請求項13〜15に記載のキット。 - a.請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載のバルブプランニングツールをコンパクト化して収縮状態にすることと、
b.バルブプランニングツールを気管支鏡の使用チャネルに挿入することと、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記バルブプランニングツールが目的の領域を有する構造体に挿入され、
前記バルブプランニングツールが気管支鏡の前記チャネルから撤収される、
ことを特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。 - 前記バルブプランニングツールが目的の前記領域内で前記収縮状態から展開状態に移行するように、前記バルブプランニングツールが膨張させられ、
前記バルブプランニングツールの構造が前記構造体よりも大きいか、又は小さいかを決定するために前記構造体と比較される、
ことを特徴とする請求項18に記載の方法。 - 前記構造体が前記バルブプランニングツールよりも大きいか又は小さい場合に、前記方法が、より大きい又はより小さいバルブプランニングツールにより繰り返される、
ことを特徴とする請求項19に記載の方法。
