Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a sheet inspection apparatus and a method for manufacturing a sheet using the same.
Conventionally, as a method for inspecting defects (holes, streaks, adhesion of foreign matter, etc.) that occur in the manufacturing process of sheet-like materials such as toilet paper and tissue paper, the sheet-like material is conveyed at high speed using rollers. However, it is known that a defect generated on the sheet surface is detected by illuminating with a light during the conveyance and photographing the illumination area with a camera.
Regarding such a defect inspection technique for a sheet-like object, for example, in
By the way, when manufacturing sanitary thin paper such as toilet paper or tissue paper, floating substances such as paper dust generated in the manufacturing process often drift in the factory. When performing a defect inspection on sanitary thin paper, if paper dust floats between the light and the sheet surface, the shadow of the paper dust illuminated by the light is projected onto the sheet surface. At this time, if the sheet surface is photographed by a camera, a black shadow is reflected on the sheet surface in the photographed image, and the shadow may be erroneously recognized as a black foreign substance adhering to the sheet surface. Originally, nothing is attached to the sheet surface. Even though the sanitary thin paper is normal, if the shadow of the paper dust projected on the sheet surface is recognized as a foreign object, a defect inspection is performed. The apparatus cannot properly inspect the sheet-like object for defects. It is necessary to prevent such malfunction of the defect inspection apparatus. In particular, in a light transmission type photographing method in which an illuminating device is arranged on one side of a sheet-like material and an imaging device is arranged on the other side, and the light transmitted through the sheet-like material is photographed by the illuminating device, Even the shadow of floating objects drifting on the opposite side of the image is projected onto the imaging range, so there is a high possibility that malfunction will occur in the defect inspection apparatus.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to reduce the malfunction of the defect inspection apparatus due to the shadow of the floating matter projected on the surface of the sheet-like material.
The inventor of the present invention, as a result of earnestly examining the means for solving the above-described problems of the conventional invention, as a result of photographing the illumination range of the sheet-like object illuminated by two or more light sources to determine whether or not the sheet-like object is defective. When inspecting, by arranging a plurality of light sources side by side at least in the width direction of the sheet-like object, malfunctions may occur in the defect inspection apparatus due to the shadow of the floating object projected on the surface of the sheet-like object. We have found that it can be efficiently suppressed. Then, the present inventors considered that the problems of the prior art could be solved based on the above findings, and completed the present invention. If it demonstrates concretely, this invention has the following structures and processes.
A first aspect of the present invention relates to a sheet-like object defect inspection apparatus. An example of the sheet-like material is hygienic tissue paper having light transmissivity such as toilet paper, tissue paper, kitchen paper, or a raw fabric thereof. The sheet is a long sheet having a fixed length, and is conveyed along its longitudinal direction by a paper machine or a processing machine. The defect inspection apparatus inspects for the presence or absence of defects in the process of conveying the sheet-like material.
A defect inspection apparatus according to the present invention includes a plurality of light sources, an imaging apparatus, and an image analysis apparatus. The plurality of light sources are arranged on at least one surface side of the sheet-like object and illuminate the sheet-like object. It is also possible to arrange the light sources on both sides of the sheet. The imaging device is arranged on one side or the other side of the sheet-like object, and captures an illumination range of the sheet-like object illuminated by at least two or more of the light sources to obtain an image of the sheet-like object. The image analysis apparatus analyzes the image of the sheet-like object and inspects whether or not the sheet-like object is defective. For example, the image analysis apparatus analyzes the density of the image of the sheet-like object, and determines that the sheet-like object has a defect when there is a darker or brighter part than the normal density range. . Here, in the present invention, the plurality of light sources are arranged at least in the width direction of the sheet-like object.
When a sheet of a sheet is photographed for defect inspection, the inspection range (photographing area) of the sheet-like material conveyed in the longitudinal direction by the photographing device is usually longer in the width direction than the flow direction (that is, horizontally long ) For inspection of defects on paper, brighter illuminance than normal illumination is required, but by arranging multiple light sources side by side in the width direction of the sheet-like object as in the above configuration, the inspection range by the imaging device can be efficiently It becomes possible to shine brightly and energy efficiency is improved. Further, when the sheet is conveyed in the longitudinal direction, an air flow is generated along the conveyance direction. At this time, the suspended matter such as paper dust and shards generated in the manufacturing process of the sheet-like material will be carried by the air flow generated by the conveyance of the sheet-like material, so the longitudinal direction of the suspended matter is Often facing the transport direction. Considering this point, if only a plurality of light sources are arranged in the longitudinal direction (conveying direction) of the sheet-like object, the shadow of the floating object projected by the light emitted from these light sources can overlap on the paper surface. As a result, a dark shadow part tends to occur on the paper surface of the sheet-like material, and as a result, when the dark shadow part is photographed with a photographing device, a floating shadow is generated on the paper surface. It is easy to be mistaken for defects such as holes. On the other hand, by arranging a plurality of light sources arranged at least in the width direction of the sheet-like material as described above, it is difficult for the shadow of the floating matter floating in the sheet-feeding direction to overlap on the paper surface, The accuracy of defect inspection can be increased.
In the present invention, it is preferable that a plurality of light sources are arranged side by side in the width direction of the sheet-like material, and a plurality of light sources are arranged side by side in the longitudinal direction of the sheet-like material. Thus, by arranging the light sources in a plurality of lines in the width direction and a plurality of lines in the longitudinal direction, it is possible to illuminate the sheet of the sheet from various directions. Thereby, even if a floating substance such as paper dust exists between the photographing apparatus and the paper surface, the color of the shadow of the floating object reflected on the paper surface can be reduced.
In the present invention, it is preferable that the inspection range (imaging range) of the sheet-like object by the imaging apparatus includes an area that is simultaneously illuminated by three or more light sources. The more light sources that simultaneously illuminate the area on the paper, the better. It is preferable that at least the inspection range of the imaging apparatus is illuminated simultaneously by two or more light sources. In this way, the inspection range of the imaging apparatus is illuminated with at least two light sources, and preferably the illumination ranges of three or more light sources overlap so that the color of the shadow of floating objects reflected on the paper surface can be increased. Can be effectively diluted. In particular, because the light of other lights reaches the shadow of the floating object formed on the paper surface by being illuminated by a certain light, the shadow becomes lighter. As the number of light sources increases, the result of reducing the color of the shadow increases. .
In the present invention, all the angles between the optical axes of the plurality of light sources and the sheet surface of the sheet-like material may be the same. In particular, the angle between the optical axis of each light source and the paper surface is preferably substantially perpendicular, and may be in the range of 80 to 90 degrees, for example.
In one embodiment of the present invention, a photographing device is arranged on one side (the same side as the light source) of a sheet-like object, and a photographing device in which light emitted from a plurality of light sources and reflected from the paper surface of the sheet-like object is incident ( Light reflection method). In this case, the present invention may further include another light source that illuminates a space that is not illuminated by a plurality of light sources that illuminate the sheet-like object in the imaging space of the imaging device. If there is a space (non-illuminated space) that is not illuminated by the light source in the imaging space of the imaging device, the floating material such as paper dust that has entered the non-illuminated space will be imaged as black dots. It becomes easy to misrecognize that the floating substance is a defect generated on the sheet surface of the sheet. Therefore, in order to reduce the non-illumination space, a light source intended to illuminate the non-illumination space may be disposed in addition to the light source intended to illuminate the sheet of paper.
The 2nd side surface of this invention is related with the manufacturing method of a sheet-like object. The manufacturing method according to the present invention includes a step of obtaining a sheet-like material, and a step of inspecting the presence or absence of defects in the sheet-like material conveyed in the longitudinal direction using the defect inspection apparatus according to the first aspect described above. . When the sheet-like material is sanitary thin paper, the process for obtaining the sheet-like material includes, for example, a known paper making process for obtaining a paper sheet and a known processing process for processing the obtained paper sheet.
According to the present invention, it is possible to reduce the possibility that a malfunction occurs in the defect inspection apparatus due to the shadow of the floating material projected on the surface of the sheet-like material.
Hereinafter, embodiments for carrying out the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. This invention is not limited to the form demonstrated below, The thing suitably changed in the range obvious to those skilled in the art from the following forms is also included.
In the present specification, “A to B” means A or more and B or less. Each figure shows an orthogonal coordinate system showing an XYZ three-dimensional space, where the X axis is the longitudinal direction (conveying direction) of the sheet material, the Y axis is the width direction of the sheet material, and the Z axis is the sheet shape. The thickness direction of the object is shown respectively.
FIG. 1 shows a part of the manufacturing process of the sheet-like material according to the present invention. The sheet-like material that can be produced in the present invention is not particularly limited, but it is preferable to use a light-transmitting thin paper as an object of production in order to efficiently perform a defect inspection by a light transmission method. The defect inspection is not limited to the light transmission method, and can be performed by using the light reflection method or a combination thereof as described later. Examples of tissue paper are household hygiene tissue such as tissue paper, toilet paper, and kitchen paper. In the example shown in FIG. 1, after laminating | stacking the sheet | seat of two layers and forming a lamination sheet, embossing and a perforation are formed in this lamination sheet. In addition, defect inspection of the laminated sheet is performed after embossing and after perforation.
Specifically, a long sheet member is conveyed from the upstream side of the apparatus on the right side of FIG. 1 toward the downstream side of the apparatus on the left side. A first
An
On the downstream side of the
A
A
Further, as shown in FIG. 1, the
The

The photographing
The
The
2 and 3 show an embodiment in which the sheet surface of the sheet-like object is photographed by a light transmission method as an example of the arrangement of the photographing
In the light transmission method, the photographing
In the present embodiment, spot light sources are used as the
As shown in FIG. 2, a plurality of
In FIG. 2, the width of the illumination range on the paper surface of the laminated sheet illuminated by the
In FIG. 2, the distance from the
As shown in FIG. 2, a plurality of
As shown in FIG. 3, a plurality of
Further, in longitudinal section view, the angle theta 2 of the sheet of the laminated sheet with the optical axis of each light source is set approximately at right angles, for example, in the range of 80 to 90 degrees. Further, the angles θ 2 formed by the light sources are all set to the same angle. However, it is also possible to change the angle theta 2 which form each light source (slope).
As described above, by disposing the plurality of
4 and 5 show an embodiment in which the sheet surface of a sheet-like object is photographed by a light reflection method as another example of the arrangement of the photographing
The
As shown in FIG. 4, also in this embodiment, a plurality of
As shown in FIG. 5, a plurality of
Further, as shown in FIG. 5, the optical axis of the light emitted from the first
Further, as shown in FIG. 5, the first
Even in the case of shooting with the light reflection method, by disposing the
FIG. 6 shows a modification of the embodiment shown in FIG. In the modification shown in FIG. 6, in addition to the configuration shown in FIG. 5, a third
As shown in FIG. 6, the first
Further, when the third
