Abstract
【解決手段】船舶は、LPGを貯留する燃料タンクと、LPGを燃料とする推進用エンジンと、燃料タンクからエンジンへLPGを供給する、第1遮断弁が設けられた燃料供給ラインと、エンジンから燃料タンクへ未使用のLPGを回収する、第2遮断弁が設けられた燃料回収ラインと、エンジンルームと第2遮断弁の間で燃料回収ラインに不活性ガスを供給する第1パージラインと、第3遮断弁が設けられた第2パージラインにより、エンジンルームと第1遮断弁との間で燃料供給ラインと接続されたパージタンクと、を備え、第2パージラインおよびパージタンクは、燃料供給ラインにおけるエンジンルーム内に存する部分および燃料回収ラインにおけるエンジンルーム内に存する部分よりも下方に配置されている。

Claims (9)
- LPGを貯留する燃料タンクと、
LPGを燃料とする、エンジンルーム内に配置された推進用エンジンと、
前記燃料タンクから前記エンジンへLPGを供給する、前記エンジンルーム外に第1遮断弁が設けられた燃料供給ラインと、
前記エンジンから前記燃料タンクへ未使用のLPGを回収する、前記エンジンルーム外に第2遮断弁が設けられた燃料回収ラインと、
前記エンジンルームと前記第2遮断弁の間で前記燃料回収ラインに不活性ガスを供給する第1パージラインと、
第3遮断弁が設けられた第2パージラインにより、前記エンジンルームと前記第1遮断弁との間で前記燃料供給ラインと接続されたパージタンクと、を備え、
前記第2パージラインおよび前記パージタンクは、前記燃料供給ラインにおける前記エンジンルーム内に存する部分および前記燃料回収ラインにおける前記エンジンルーム内に存する部分よりも下方に配置されている、船舶。 - 前記燃料供給ラインにおける前記エンジンルーム内に存する部分は、前記エンジンに向かって上り勾配であり、
前記燃料回収ラインにおける前記エンジンルーム内に存する部分は、前記エンジンに向かって下り勾配である、請求項1に記載の船舶。 - 前記燃料タンクに供給されるLPGを0℃以上に加熱する加熱器をさらに備え、
前記燃料タンクは、LPGを当該燃料タンク内の温度での飽和蒸気圧力以上の圧力で保持する、請求項1または2に記載の船舶。 - 前記燃料回収ラインには、LPGを所定の温度まで冷却する冷却器が設けられている、請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載の船舶。
- 前記燃料回収ラインには圧力調整弁が設けられており、この圧力調整弁は、当該圧力調整弁の上流側のLPGの圧力を前記エンジンの出口でのLPGの温度での飽和蒸気圧力または想定される最大温度における飽和蒸気圧力よりも高くなるように調整する、請求項1〜4の何れか一項に記載の船舶。
- 前記燃料タンクは、LPGが導入されるストレージタンクと、前記ストレージタンクからLPGが供給される、前記燃料供給ラインおよび前記燃料回収ラインにより前記エンジンと接続されたサービスタンクを含む、請求項1〜5の何れか一項に記載の船舶。
- 前記サービスタンクには、不活性ガスが導入される、請求項6に記載の船舶。
- 前記パージタンクは、第4遮断弁が設けられた返送ラインにより前記燃料タンクと接続されており、
前記第1遮断弁、前記第2遮断弁、前記第3遮断弁および前記第4遮断弁を制御する制御装置をさらに備え、
前記制御装置は、前記燃料供給ラインおよび前記燃料回収ラインを通じて前記燃料タンクと前記エンジンとの間でLPGを循環させるときは、前記第3遮断弁を閉じるとともに前記第1遮断弁および前記第2遮断弁を開き、前記燃料供給ラインにおける前記エンジンルーム内に存する部分および前記燃料回収ラインにおける前記エンジンルーム内に存する部分を不活性ガスでパージするパージ作業を行う際は、前記第1遮断弁、前記第2遮断弁および前記第4遮断弁を閉じるとともに前記第3遮断弁を開き、前記パージ作業が完了した後に前記第4遮断弁を開く、請求項1〜7の何れか一項に記載の船舶。 - 前記パージタンクの圧力を検出する圧力計と、
前記第1遮断弁、前記第2遮断弁および前記第3遮断弁を制御する制御装置と、をさらに備え、
前記制御装置は、前記圧力計で検出される前記パージタンクの圧力が所定値以上となったときに、前記パージ作業が完了したと判定する、請求項1〜8の何れか一項に記載の船舶。
