Abstract
Description
前記ディップ成形用ラテックス組成物が、前述したディップ成形用ラテックス組成物であるディップ成形品の製造方法を提供する。
本発明に係るディップ成形用ラテックス組成物は、カルボン酸変性ニトリル系共重合体ラテックス;及びポリ(N−イソプロピルアクリルアミド)又はその共重合体;を含む。
また、本発明のさらに別の目的を達成するためのディップ成形品は、前記組成物をディップ成形して得られることを特徴とする。
a)凝固剤溶液をモールドに塗布後、乾燥する工程;
b)凝固剤が塗布されたモールドに、ディップ成形用ラテックス組成物を塗布して、ディップ成形層を形成する工程;
c)前記ディップ成形層を架橋する工程;及び
d)架橋されたディップ成形層をモールドから剥がして、ディップ成形品を収得後の物理的性質を測定する工程;からなる。
本工程(a)では、モールドとして手形状のディップ成形フレームを使用し、このモールドを凝固剤溶液にコーティング後、乾燥して、前記モールド表面に凝固剤を塗布する工程を行う。
前記工程(a)に引き続き、本工程(b)では、凝固剤が付着されたモールドを本発明のディップ成形用ラテックス組成物に浸漬し、ディップ成形層を形成させる工程を行う。
次に、本工程(c)では、モールドに形成されたディップ成形層を加熱処理して、ラテックス樹脂を架橋させる工程を行う。
次いで、本工程(d)では、前記工程(c)で得られたディップ成形層をモールドから剥がしてディップ成形品を得、得られたディップ成形品の物理的性質を測定する。
(カルボン酸変性ニトリル系共重合体ラテックスの製造)
撹拌機、温度計、冷却器、窒素ガスの引込口及び単量体、乳化剤、重合反応開始剤を連続的に投入できるように備えられた10Lの高圧反応器を窒素で置換した後、アクリロニトリル25重量%、1,4−ブタジエン70重量%、メタクリル酸5重量%の単量体混合物100重量部に対して、アルキルベンゼンスルホン酸ナトリウム2.5重量部、t−トデシルメルカプタン0.5重量部及びイオン交換水140重量部を投入し、40℃まで昇温させた。
前記ラテックス−A100重量部に5%で希釈したポリ(N−イソプロピルアクリルアミド)(Mn:35,000g/mol)0.5重量部を混合した。そこに、3%水酸化カリウム溶液及び滴定量の2次蒸溜水を加え、固形分濃度25%、pH10.0のディップ成形用ラテックス組成物を得た。
12重量部の硝酸カルシウム、87.5重量部の蒸溜水、0.5重量部の湿潤剤(wetting agent)(Teric 320 produced by Huntsman Corporation, Australia)を混合して、凝固剤溶液を製造した。この溶液に手形状のセラミックモールドを1分間浸漬し、取り出した後、80℃で3分間乾燥し、凝固剤を手形状のモールドに塗布した。
ポリ(N−イソプロピルアクリルアミド)を1重量部用いたこと以外は、前記実施例1と同様の方法で手袋形状のディップ成形品を製造した。
ポリ(N−イソプロピルアクリルアミド)を2重量部用いたこと以外は、前記実施例1と同様の方法で手袋形状のディップ成形品を製造した。
ポリ(N−イソプロピルアクリルアミド)を5重量部用いたこと以外は、前記実施例1と同様の方法で手袋形状のディップ成形品を製造した。
数平均分子量が60,000g/molであるポリ(N−イソプロピルアクリルアミド)を0.5重量部用いたこと以外は、前記実施例1と同様の方法で手袋形状のディップ成形品を製造した。
数平均分子量が60,000g/molであるポリ(N−イソプロピルアクリルアミド)を1重量部用いたこと以外は、前記実施例1と同様の方法で手袋形状のディップ成形品を製造した。

前記実施例及び比較例で製造されたディップ成形品の物性を測定し、その結果を下記の表1に示した。
シネレシス時間確認のために、凝固剤が塗布されたモールドを前記のディップ成形用ラテックス組成物に1分間浸漬し、引き上げた後、120℃で4分間乾燥した後、水又は温水に3分間浸漬した。120℃で4分乾燥時、水滴が落ちる時間を確認して、シネレシス時間として確認した。
ASTM D638方法によって、試験装置であるU.T.M(Instron社製、モデル名:4466)を利用して、クロスヘッド速度(cross head speed)を500mm/minで引っ張った後、試片が切断される位置を測定した。引張強度は、次の通り計算した:

引張強度(kfg/mm2)=ロード(load)値(kgf)/厚さ(mm)×幅(mm)
ASTM D638方法によって、試験装置であるU.T.M(Instron社製、モデル名:4466)を利用して、クロスヘッド速度を500mm/minで引っ張った後、300%での応力及び500%での応力は次のように測定した:
300%での応力(MPa)=試片の初期長さの3倍に伸張されたときの引張強度(1MPa=0.10197.kgf/mm2)。
500%での応力(MPa)=試片の初期長さの5倍に伸張されたときの引張強度(1MPa=0.10197.kgf/mm2)。
Claims (14)
- カルボン酸変性ニトリル系共重合体ラテックス;及び
ポリ(N−イソプロピルアクリルアミド)又はその共重合体;
を含むディップ成形用ラテックス組成物。 - 前記カルボン酸変性ニトリル系共重合体ラテックスは、ガラス転移温度が−50〜−15℃であり、平均粒径が90〜200nmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディップ成形用ラテックス組成物。
- 前記ポリ(N−イソプロピルアクリルアミド)又はその共重合体は、数平均分子量が5,000〜80,000g/molであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディップ成形用ラテックス組成物。
- 前記ポリ(N−イソプロピルアクリルアミド)又はその共重合体は、0.5〜15重量%濃度を有する水溶液として使用することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディップ成形用ラテックス組成物。
- 前記ポリ(N−イソプロピルアクリルアミド)共重合体は、N−イソプロピルアクリルアミド単量体と、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸、イタコン酸、マレイン酸、フマル酸及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選ばれた1種のエチレン性不飽和カルボン酸単量体と共重合されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディップ成形用ラテックス組成物。
- 前記ポリ(N−イソプロピルアクリルアミド)共重合体は、N−イソプロピルアクリルアミド単量体80モル%以上100モル%未満とエチレン性不飽和カルボン酸単量体0モル%超過20モル%以下のモル比で共重合されたことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のディップ成形用ラテックス組成物。
- 前記ディップ成形用ラテックス組成物は、カルボン酸変性ニトリル系共重合体ラテックス100重量部に対して、ポリ(N−イソプロピルアクリルアミド)又はその共重合体0.1〜10重量部を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディップ成形用ラテックス組成物。
- 前記カルボン酸変性ニトリル系共重合体は、共役ジエン系単量体40〜89重量%、エチレン性不飽和ニトリル系単量体10〜50重量%及びエチレン性不飽和酸単量体0.1〜10重量%を含む単量体混合物が重合されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディップ成形用ラテックス組成物。
- 前記共役ジエン系単量体は、1,3−ブタジエン、2,3−ジメチル−1,3−ブタジエン、2−エチル−1,3−ブタジエン、1,3−ペンタジエン、イソプレン及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選ばれた1種を含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載のディップ成形用ラテックス組成物。
- 前記エチレン性不飽和ニトリル系単量体は、アクリロニトリル、メタクリロニトリル、フマロニトリル、α−クロロニトリル、α−シアノエチルアクリロニトリル及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選ばれた1種を含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載のディップ成形用ラテックス組成物。
- 前記エチレン性不飽和酸単量体は、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸、イタコン酸、マレイン酸、フマル酸、無水マレイン酸、無水シトラコン酸、スチレンスルホン酸、フマル酸モノブチル、マレイン酸モノブチル、マレイン酸モノ−2−ヒドロキシプロピル及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選ばれた1種を含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載のディップ成形用ラテックス組成物。
- 前記組成物は、加硫剤、加硫触媒、充填材、架橋剤、顔料、増粘剤、pH調節剤及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選ばれた1種の添加剤を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディップ成形用ラテックス組成物。
- 請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載のディップ成形用ラテックス組成物でディップ成形して製造されたことを特徴とするディップ成形品。
- a)凝固剤溶液をモールドに塗布後、乾燥する工程;
b)凝固剤が塗布されたモールドにディップ成形用ラテックス組成物を塗布して、ディップ成形層を形成する工程;
c)前記ディップ成形層を架橋する工程;及び
d)架橋されたディップ成形層をモールドから剥がして、ディップ成形品を得る工程;を含み、
前記ディップ成形用ラテックス組成物は、請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載のディップ成形用ラテックス組成物であることを特徴とするディップ成形品の製造方法。
