Abstract
Description
本発明は、有機性廃棄物の処理方法および処理装置に関する。 The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for treating organic waste.
有機性廃棄物は、まず脱水機によって脱水され、次に乾燥機によって乾燥する。乾燥した有機性廃棄物は、産業廃棄物として処理されたり、埋め立て処理されたりすることが多いが、近年では燃料資源や肥料として利用されることもある。 The organic waste is first dehydrated by a dehydrator and then dried by a dryer. Dried organic waste is often treated as industrial waste or landfilled, but in recent years it is sometimes used as a fuel resource or fertilizer.
しかし、前記乾燥した有機性廃棄物は臭いため、農家が肥料として用いることを敬遠することが多いという問題がある。
また、乾燥した有機性廃棄物を運搬する際においても、トラックの荷台から落下すると、その落下物が臭うという問題もある。
However, since the dried organic waste has an odor, there is a problem that farmers often refrain from using it as fertilizer.
In addition, when transporting dried organic waste, there is also a problem that the fallen object smells when it falls from the truck bed.
そこで本発明の主たる課題は、悪臭が少ない乾燥した有機性廃棄物を得ることを目的とする。 Then, the main subject of this invention aims at obtaining the dry organic waste with few malodors.
T=Y/X ・・・式1
ここで、Tは有機性廃棄物が前記連続式熱風乾燥機内に滞留する平均滞留時間(分)であり、Xは前記連続式熱風乾燥機への有機性廃棄物の供給量(kg-ds/分)であり、Yは前記連続式熱風乾燥機内の有機性廃棄物の保有量(kg-ds)である。
The present invention that has solved the above problems is as follows.
(1) A method for treating organic waste by drying organic waste and recovering the dry matter,
A hot air generating process for generating hot air;
A drying step of contacting the organic waste with the hot air in a continuous hot air dryer to dry the organic waste;
A solid-gas separation step of separating a dry matter contained in exhaust gas from the continuous hot air dryer, and a method for treating organic waste,
The organic waste processing method, wherein an average residence time T defined by the following formula 1 in the drying step is 0.05 to 10 minutes.
T = Y / X Equation 1
Here, T is an average residence time (minutes) in which the organic waste stays in the continuous hot air dryer, and X is the amount of organic waste supplied to the continuous hot air dryer (kg-ds / Y is the amount of organic waste retained in the continuous hot air dryer (kg-ds).
(Function and effect)
In the operation of the conventional organic waste treatment apparatus, the average residence time T from when the organic waste is supplied to the continuous hot air dryer until it is discharged is about 30 minutes. The cause of bad odor in the final product has not been known for a long time, but the present inventor has determined that the protein is denatured due to excessive drying of organic waste, and the odor due to scorching is generated. It was. And the earnest examination was carried out about the average residence time which a malodor does not generate | occur | produce, and the method which made the
When the organic waste is supplied to the continuous hot air dryer so that the average residence time T is in the range of 0.05 to 10 minutes, the time for the organic waste to stay in the continuous hot air dryer is short. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the organic waste from being thermally denatured at a high temperature and generating bad odor. As described above, in the present invention, by controlling the amount of organic waste supplied to the continuous hot air dryer, the time during which the organic waste stays in the dryer is controlled, and malodors are generated from the dry matter. It prevents that.
なお、前記平均滞留時間とは、有機性廃棄物が連続式熱風乾燥機に供給されてから排出されるまでの時間の平均値である。この平均滞留時間T(分)は、Y(連続式熱風乾燥機の有機性廃棄物の保有量(kg-ds))をX(連続式熱風乾燥機への有機性廃棄物の供給量(kg-ds/分))で除することによって算出できる。 The average residence time is an average value of the time from when the organic waste is supplied to the continuous hot air dryer until it is discharged. This average residence time T (min) is expressed as follows: Y (retention amount of organic waste in continuous hot air dryer (kg-ds)) X (supply amount of organic waste to continuous hot air dryer (kg) -ds / min)).
(2)前記連続式熱風乾燥機に有機性廃棄物を供給する前に有機性廃棄物の性状を測定し、前記連続式熱風乾燥機の乾燥に適さない有機性廃棄物は供給しない前記(1)記載の有機性廃棄物の処理方法。 (2) The property of the organic waste is measured before the organic waste is supplied to the continuous hot air dryer, and the organic waste that is not suitable for drying of the continuous hot air dryer is not supplied. ) Organic waste disposal method as described.
(Function and effect)
When organic waste having properties that are not suitable for drying is supplied to a continuous hot air dryer, a bad odor is generated due to poor drying. Specifically, if organic waste with a large particle size (maximum particle size, average particle size) or organic waste with a high water content is provided, a sulfur-based (hydrogen sulfide, methyl disulfide, etc.) odor (bad odor) ) Tend to be tight. Therefore, in the present invention, it is preferable to measure the properties of the organic waste before supplying the organic waste to the continuous hot air dryer to prevent such a bad odor from occurring.
(3)前記連続式熱風乾燥機に供給される有機性廃棄物の最大粒径が60mm以下である前記(1)または(2)記載の有機性廃棄物の処理方法。 (3) The organic waste processing method according to (1) or (2), wherein the maximum particle size of the organic waste supplied to the continuous hot air dryer is 60 mm or less.
(Function and effect)
If the maximum particle size of the organic waste supplied to the continuous hot air dryer is larger than 60 mm, the time that the organic waste stays in the continuous hot air dryer becomes extremely short, and the organic waste is sufficiently dried. It will be discharged from the continuous hot air dryer in the state that is not. Therefore, there exists a malfunction that the moisture content of a final product (organic waste after solid-gas separation) will become higher than the desired value (10-50%). If the moisture content of the final product is high, there is a problem that the smell (bad odor) of sulfur (hydrogen sulfide, methyl disulfide, etc.) becomes severe.
また、最大粒径が60mmより大きい有機性廃棄物の粒状物の中心部付近まで乾燥しようとすると、高温の熱風を用いる必要が生じる。この高温の熱風を用いると、有機性廃棄物の表面が乾燥しすぎて、焦げ臭(アセトアルデヒド系の臭い)が生じてしまうという不具合がある。 Moreover, when it is going to dry to the center part vicinity of the granular material of the organic waste larger than 60 mm, it is necessary to use a hot hot air. When this high-temperature hot air is used, the surface of the organic waste becomes too dry, and there is a problem that a burning odor (acetaldehyde-based odor) is generated.
そこで、連続式熱風乾燥機に供給する有機性廃棄物の最大粒径を60mm以下にして、これらの不具合を防ぐことが好ましい。 Therefore, it is preferable to prevent these problems by setting the maximum particle size of the organic waste supplied to the continuous hot air dryer to 60 mm or less.
なお、最終製品は産業廃棄物、燃料資源、肥料などに用いられるが、これらの用途で要求される含水率は概ね10〜50%である。 The final product is used for industrial waste, fuel resources, fertilizers, etc., and the moisture content required for these uses is generally 10 to 50%.
連続式熱風乾燥機に供給される有機性廃棄物は脱水物に限られるものではなく、脱水していない有機性廃棄物を連続式熱風乾燥機に供給しても良い。なお、連続式熱風乾燥機に供給する有機性廃棄物は含水率81%以下のものが適している。 The organic waste supplied to the continuous hot air dryer is not limited to dehydrated matter, and organic waste that has not been dehydrated may be supplied to the continuous hot air dryer. In addition, the organic waste supplied to the continuous hot air dryer is suitable to have a water content of 81% or less.
(4)前記連続式熱風乾燥機に供給される有機性廃棄物の平均粒径が1mm〜30mmである前記(1)または(2)記載の有機性廃棄物の処理方法。 (4) The organic waste processing method according to (1) or (2), wherein an average particle size of the organic waste supplied to the continuous hot air dryer is 1 mm to 30 mm.
(作用効果)
連続式熱風乾燥機に供給する有機性廃棄物の平均粒径が30mmより大きいと、有機性廃棄物が十分に乾燥されていない状態で連続式熱風乾燥機から排出されるため、最終製品の含水率が所望する値(10〜50%)よりも高くなってしまい、品質が悪くなってしまう。
(Function and effect)
When the average particle size of the organic waste supplied to the continuous hot air dryer is larger than 30 mm, the organic waste is discharged from the continuous hot air dryer in a state where it is not sufficiently dried. The rate becomes higher than the desired value (10 to 50%), and the quality deteriorates.
(5)前記乾燥工程の前に、脱水機で有機性廃棄物を脱水する工程をさらに有し、
脱水工程で脱水した有機性廃棄物を前記連続式熱風乾燥機に供給する前記(1)記載の有機性廃棄物の処理方法。
(5) Before the drying step, further comprising a step of dehydrating organic waste with a dehydrator,
The organic waste processing method according to (1), wherein the organic waste dehydrated in the dehydration step is supplied to the continuous hot air dryer.
(作用効果)
乾燥工程の前に有機性廃棄物を脱水することで、連続式熱風乾燥機に供給する有機性廃棄物の含水率を低くすることができる。有機性廃棄物の含水率が低くなると、有機性廃棄物の粒状物を構成する複数の粒子間の表面付着水や遊離水が減少するため、有機性廃棄物の最大粒径を望ましい値(60mm以下)にすることができるとともに、平均粒径も望ましい値(1mm〜30mm)にすることができる。
(Function and effect)
By dehydrating the organic waste before the drying step, the water content of the organic waste supplied to the continuous hot air dryer can be lowered. When the water content of the organic waste is low, the surface adhering water and free water between the plurality of particles constituting the organic waste particulate matter are reduced, so the maximum particle size of the organic waste is desired (60 mm). The average particle size can also be set to a desired value (1 mm to 30 mm).
(6)前記脱水工程において、前記脱水機内で有機性廃棄物を重力加速度2000〜3000Gで脱水した後、脱水した有機性廃棄物を大気中へ排出する前記(5)記載の有機性廃棄物の処理方法。 (6) In the dehydration step, the organic waste is dehydrated in the dehydrator at a gravitational acceleration of 2000 to 3000 G, and then the dehydrated organic waste is discharged into the atmosphere. Processing method.
(作用効果)
脱水した有機性廃棄物が脱水機から排出される際に有機性廃棄物が分散するため、脱水物の含水率を低下させることができる。また、有機性廃棄物の最大粒径を乾燥機への提供に適した値(60mm以下)にすることができるとともに、平均粒径も望ましい値(1mm〜30mm)にすることができる。
(Function and effect)
Since the organic waste is dispersed when the dehydrated organic waste is discharged from the dehydrator, the water content of the dehydrate can be reduced. In addition, the maximum particle size of the organic waste can be set to a value (60 mm or less) suitable for provision to a dryer, and the average particle size can also be set to a desirable value (1 mm to 30 mm).

FIG. 1 is a processing flow diagram of the organic waste processing apparatus 1. The processing apparatus 1 includes a
(Organic waste W)
The processing apparatus 1 which concerns on this invention processes the organic waste W. FIG. Specific examples of the organic waste W include sludge. More specifically, sewage sludge (including surplus sludge, primary settling sludge, mixed raw sludge, mixed sludge, digested sludge, sludge obtained by mixing and digesting biomass), wastewater treatment sludge, papermaking sludge, activated sludge, bill pit sludge, agricultural settlements Examples include wastewater sludge and other organic sludge. Among these sludges, it is particularly suitable for the treatment of sewage sludge. Further, the organic waste W includes those in which inorganic substances are mixed. This organic waste W is stored in the organic waste storage tank 2 and supplied to the dehydrator 3 by the
(脱水機3)
本発明に係る処理装置1は、有機性廃棄物Wを脱水する脱水機3を有することが好ましい。図1の形態において、有機性廃棄物Wは、脱水機3によって脱水された後、連続式熱風乾燥機5へ送られる。
(Dehydrator 3)
The treatment apparatus 1 according to the present invention preferably has a dehydrator 3 that dehydrates the organic waste W. In the form of FIG. 1, the organic waste W is dehydrated by the dehydrator 3 and then sent to the continuous hot air dryer 5.
この脱水機3の例としては、遠心脱水機、ベルトプレス脱水機、スクリュープレス脱水機、回転加圧脱水機、多重円板型脱水機および多重板型スクリュープレス脱水機等を挙げることができる。 Examples of the dehydrator 3 include a centrifugal dehydrator, a belt press dehydrator, a screw press dehydrator, a rotary pressure dehydrator, a multiple disc type dehydrator, a multiple plate type screw press dehydrator, and the like.
前記遠心脱水機には、一液調質法、二液調質法および機内二液調質法に用いる異なる形態の脱水機がある。このうちの機内二液調質型遠心脱水機は、脱水物の最大粒径や平均粒径を小さく、含水率を低くすることができるため、本発明に係る処理装置1の脱水機3として適している。 The centrifugal dehydrator includes different types of dehydrators used for the one-liquid refining method, the two-liquid refining method, and the in-machine two-liquid refining method. Among these, the in-machine two-liquid refining centrifugal dehydrator is suitable as the dehydrator 3 of the processing apparatus 1 according to the present invention because the maximum particle size and average particle size of the dehydrated product can be reduced and the water content can be reduced. ing.
前記機内二液調質型遠心脱水機は、外側に回転ボウルが配され、この回転ボウル内にスクリューコンベアが設けられている。また、この回転ボウルの一端側には供給口が、他端側には排出口が設けられている。供給口から回転ボウル内に供給された有機性廃棄物Wは、スクリューコンベアによって撹拌されながら他端側へと運ばれ、脱水物として排出口から排出される。また、有機性廃棄物Wは、回転ボウル内を移動する過程で、遠心力により脱水される。 The in-machine two-liquid refining type centrifugal dehydrator has a rotating bowl on the outside, and a screw conveyor is provided in the rotating bowl. In addition, a supply port is provided on one end side of the rotating bowl, and a discharge port is provided on the other end side. The organic waste W supplied from the supply port into the rotating bowl is carried to the other end side while being stirred by the screw conveyor, and is discharged from the discharge port as dehydrated matter. Further, the organic waste W is dehydrated by centrifugal force in the process of moving in the rotating bowl.
Further, in the rotating bowl, the polymer flocculant HC and the inorganic flocculant IC are added to the organic waste W. As the polymer flocculant HC, for example, polyacrylamide type or polyacrylic acid ester type can be used, and as the inorganic flocculant IC, for example, ferric chloride, polyaluminum chloride (PAC), polysulfuric acid second Iron (poly iron) or the like can be used. By using these two kinds of flocculants, the maximum particle size and average particle size of the dehydrated product can be reduced, and the water content can be reduced. Specifically, the average particle size can be 10 mm or less, and the water content can be 74% or less.
また、前記ポリ硫酸第2鉄(ポリ鉄)の供給量は、5〜30%(汚泥DSあたり)にすることが好ましい。このポリ鉄の供給量を多くすることにより、最終製品たる粉粒体に硫化物を固定し、揮発しにくい状況を作ることができるため、悪臭の発生を抑えることができる。 The supply amount of the ferric sulfate (polyiron) is preferably 5 to 30% (per sludge DS). By increasing the supply amount of this polyiron, it is possible to fix the sulfides to the granular material that is the final product, and to make it difficult to volatilize, so that the generation of malodor can be suppressed.
前記機内二液調質型遠心脱水機としては、例えば、2015年4月20日付けの地方共同法人日本下水道事業団ホームページの「技術情報・研究」「133号 2012/12/13 技術情報<技術の紹介>「機内二液調質型遠心脱水機」‐低含水率脱水汚泥の実現」の欄に記載されたものを用いることができる。 Examples of the in-flight two-component refining centrifugal dehydrator include, for example, “Technical Information and Research” “No. 133 2012/12/13 Technical Information <Technology” on the website of the Japan Sewerage Corporation on April 20, 2015. Introduction> "In-machine two-liquid refining type centrifugal dehydrator"-What is described in the column "Realization of low water content dewatered sludge" can be used.
なお、機内二液調質型遠心脱水機3を用いた場合、その脱水機3の排出口から排出される際に、重力加速度が2000〜3000Gである脱水機内から、大気中、すなわち1Gの雰囲気に放たれるため、脱水物が分散することになる。 In addition, when the in-machine two-liquid refining type centrifugal dehydrator 3 is used, when discharged from the discharge port of the dehydrator 3, the inside of the dehydrator having a gravitational acceleration of 2000 to 3000G, that is, the atmosphere of 1G The dehydrated product will be dispersed.
(脱水物搬送機7)
前記脱水機3から排出された有機性廃棄物(脱水物)は、脱水物搬送機7に供給される。なお、脱水物の含水率は81%以下が好ましく、78%以下がさらに好ましい。図1においては、配管30によって脱水機3と脱水物搬送機7が接続され、脱水物はその配管30の内部を通って脱水物搬送機7へと移動する。また、配管30には水分計AMが取り付けられており、脱水物に含まれる水分の量を計測している。
(Dehydrated material transport machine 7)
The organic waste (dehydrated product) discharged from the dehydrator 3 is supplied to the dehydrated product transfer device 7. The water content of the dehydrated product is preferably 81% or less, and more preferably 78% or less. In FIG. 1, the dehydrator 3 and the dehydrated product transporter 7 are connected by a
前記脱水物搬送機7には、機械的な動力によって搬送を行うスクリューコンベアやベルトコンベアなどを用いることができる。図1では、脱水物搬送機7としてスクリューコンベアが用いられている。また、図1のスクリューコンベア7の長手方向中間部(中央付近)には供給口が設けられており、この供給口からスクリューコンベア7内に脱水物を供給するようになっている。 As the dehydrated material transfer machine 7, a screw conveyor, a belt conveyor, or the like that is transferred by mechanical power can be used. In FIG. 1, a screw conveyor is used as the dehydrated material transfer machine 7. Moreover, a supply port is provided in the longitudinal direction intermediate part (near the center) of the screw conveyor 7 of FIG. 1, and dehydrated product is supplied into the screw conveyor 7 from this supply port.
The screw conveyor 7 can be switched between forward rotation and reverse rotation. Then, the moisture content of the dehydrated product is measured with a moisture meter AM attached to the
T=Y/X ・・・式1
なお、前記滞留時間Tは、0.1〜7分の範囲内にすることが好ましく、0.2〜5分の範囲内にすることがさらに好ましい。
(Dehydrated product supply method)
In order to suppress bad odor from the granular material stored in the
T = Y / X Equation 1
The residence time T is preferably within a range of 0.1 to 7 minutes, and more preferably within a range of 0.2 to 5 minutes.
In the subsequent-stage continuous hot air dryer 5 (especially a circular tube airflow dryer), the amount of dehydrated material that can be retained in the dryer 5 is determined for each size of the continuous hot air dryer 5. Further, during steady operation (when the operation of the processing apparatus 1 is not started), the amount of dehydrated material supplied to the dryer 5 and the amount of dried material discharged from the dryer 5 are the same amount. That is, the same amount of dried product as that supplied to the dryer 5 is discharged from the dryer 5. The present inventor has conducted earnest research based on such preconditions, and X (amount of dehydrated product supplied to the continuous hot air dryer 5 (kg-ds / min)) and Y (continuous hot air dryer). It was operated so that the average residence time T determined from the retained amount of dehydrated product (kg-ds) was 0.05 to 10 (minutes), and malodors were suppressed from the granular material as the final product.
連続式熱風乾燥機5への脱水物の供給量を前記範囲内にすることで、連続式熱風乾燥機5内で脱水物が滞留する時間が適切な値となり、悪臭を抑制することができる。 By setting the supply amount of the dehydrated product to the continuous hot air dryer 5 within the above range, the time for which the dehydrated product stays in the continuous hot air dryer 5 becomes an appropriate value, and malodor can be suppressed.
Specifically, it is preferable that the average residence time from supplying the dehydrated product to the continuous hot air dryer 5 to discharging the dried product from the dryer 5 is 10 minutes or less. In the conventional operation method, the average residence time of the organic waste in the dryer 5 is often 30 minutes or more. By making the average residence time extremely short as in the invention, it is possible to prevent the organic waste from being denatured, so that the generation of malodor can be prevented.
連続式熱風乾燥機5の脱水物の保有量(Y)については、乾燥機5に供給する脱水物の量(kg-ds)と、乾燥機5から排出される乾燥物の量(kg-ds)が同量となる定常運転時に、処理装置1の運転を一時的に停止すると同時に、乾燥機5の供給口と排出口を遮断し、乾燥機5内に溜まっている有機性廃棄物を集めてその重量を測定することで、その値を保有量(Y)とすることができる。 Regarding the retained amount (Y) of the dehydrated product in the continuous hot air dryer 5, the amount of the dehydrated product supplied to the dryer 5 (kg-ds) and the amount of the dried product discharged from the dryer 5 (kg-ds) At the same time, the operation of the processing apparatus 1 is temporarily stopped at the same time, and at the same time, the supply port and the discharge port of the dryer 5 are shut off, and the organic waste accumulated in the dryer 5 is collected. By measuring the weight, the value can be made the retained amount (Y).
Further, as to whether or not the start-up operation has changed to the steady operation, whether or not the amount of dehydrated material supplied to the dryer 5 and the amount of dried material discharged from the dryer 5 are the same amount is determined. It can be carried out. That is, since there is no dehydrated product in the dryer 5 at the stage when the start-up operation is started, even if the dehydrated product is supplied to the dryer 5, it remains in the dryer 5 and is discharged from the dryer 5. Not. Then, after a certain amount of dehydrated material has accumulated in the dryer 5, the dried material begins to be discharged from the dryer 5, and the supply amount and the discharge amount are gradually balanced. In the present invention, when the supply amount and the discharge amount become the same in this way, it is assumed that the operation is changed to the steady operation.
(Maximum particle size)
In addition, it is preferable to measure the particle size of the organic waste (dehydrated product) in the dehydrated product transfer machine 7. As a result of measuring the particle size of the dehydrated product, when the maximum particle size of the dehydrated product is higher than the reference value, the dehydrated product is sent to the
前記の通り、乾燥機5内に貯留できる脱水物量が決まっているから、最大粒径が60mmより大きい脱水物の乾燥機5に供給すると、乾燥機5で十分に乾燥できないまま、乾燥機5から排出される可能性がある。乾燥機5で十分な乾燥ができないときは、貯留時の腐敗により最終製品である粉粒体から悪臭が発生してしまう。そこで、このような悪臭の発生を防ぐために、最大粒径が60mmより大きい脱水物は供給しないようにしている。 As described above, since the amount of dehydrated product that can be stored in the dryer 5 is determined, when the dehydrated product having a maximum particle size of more than 60 mm is supplied to the dryer 5, the dryer 5 cannot be sufficiently dried and the dryer 5 There is a possibility of being discharged. When sufficient drying cannot be performed by the dryer 5, malodor is generated from the granular material as the final product due to decay during storage. Therefore, in order to prevent the generation of such a bad odor, dehydrated products having a maximum particle size larger than 60 mm are not supplied.
なお、悪臭を抑制するためには、最大粒径を60mm以下にすることが好ましいが、45mm以下にすることがより好ましく、30mm以下にすることがさらに好ましい。 In order to suppress malodor, the maximum particle size is preferably 60 mm or less, more preferably 45 mm or less, and even more preferably 30 mm or less.
請求項に記載した有機性廃棄物の最大粒径は、人為的に脱水物の一部をサンプリングとして抜き出し、ノギス等を用いて目視で実測する。具体的には、脱水物の各径をノギス等で測定し、測定値の最大径を最大粒径とする。 The maximum particle size of the organic waste described in the claims is measured by visual observation using a caliper or the like by artificially extracting a part of the dehydrated material as sampling. Specifically, each diameter of the dehydrated product is measured with a caliper or the like, and the maximum diameter of the measured value is defined as the maximum particle diameter.
Note that when the in-machine two-liquid refining centrifugal dehydrator is used, the dehydrated product tends to be in a uniform granular shape (granular material), which is suitable for measuring the maximum particle size and the average particle size. For example, when the maximum particle size of the granular material is 60 mm or more, it is preferable to control so that the dehydrated product is not supplied to the continuous hot air dryer. In addition, when the granular material is agglomerated by moisture or the like, the dehydrated product is supplied to the continuous hot air dryer when the maximum particle size of the agglomerated granular material (agglomerated material) is 60 mm or more. Control should be done so that it does not.
また、脱水物が粒状になるように脱水することで、連続式熱風乾燥機に脱水物を安定供給しやすくなるとともに、連続式熱風乾燥機内を流れる熱風に対する抵抗を小さくし、熱風と脱水物との接触機会を増やすことができるという利点がある。 In addition, by dehydrating the dehydrated product in a granular form, it becomes easier to stably supply the dehydrated product to the continuous hot air dryer, and the resistance to the hot air flowing in the continuous hot air dryer is reduced. There is an advantage that the opportunity of contact can be increased.
(平均粒径)
また、脱水物の平均粒径を計測し、その平均粒径が1mm〜30mmの範囲にある場合は乾燥機5へ送り、それらの範囲外にある場合は消化タンク20へ送るようにしても良い。平均粒径が30mmよりも大きいと、乾燥機5で十分に乾燥が行われていない状態で乾燥機から排出されるため、最終製品たる乾燥物の品質が悪くなってしまうからである。
(Average particle size)
Further, the average particle size of the dehydrated product is measured, and when the average particle size is in the range of 1 mm to 30 mm, the dehydrated product may be sent to the dryer 5, and when the average particle size is outside these ranges, the dehydrated product may be sent to the
なお、悪臭を抑制するためには、平均粒径を1mm〜30mmの範囲にすることが好ましいが、1mm〜20mmの範囲にすることがより好ましく、1mm〜10mmの範囲にすることがさらに好ましい。 In order to suppress malodor, the average particle size is preferably in the range of 1 mm to 30 mm, more preferably in the range of 1 mm to 20 mm, and even more preferably in the range of 1 mm to 10 mm.
The average particle diameter described in the claims is measured using the following method. Specifically, when the particle size of the dehydrated product is 500 microns or more, it is screened according to the method described in JIS M 8801 Coal Testing Method, and the screening result is expressed as a Rosin-Rammler distribution with an integrated mass (on the screen) of 50%. The particle diameter at the corresponding time is determined as the average particle diameter. When the particle size of the dehydrated product is less than 500 microns, the particle size distribution is measured using a laser diffraction type particle size distribution measuring device (for example, trade name SALD-3100, manufactured by Shimadzu Corporation), and the cumulative volume is 50%. Is determined as an average particle size.

(Particle size distribution)
In order to stabilize the operation of the continuous hot air dryer 5, it is preferable that the fluctuation of the particle size distribution of the organic waste supplied per unit time is small. This is because, since the amount of organic waste that can stay in the dryer 5 is determined, problems occur when the value of the particle size distribution varies greatly. That is, when the particle size distribution value of the organic waste is increased, the moisture of the dried product discharged from the dryer 5 is increased, and when the particle size distribution value is decreased, the dried product is excessively dried. .

なお、脱水物搬送機7と連続式熱風乾燥機5の間に脱水物の貯留施設(図示しない)を設け、その貯留施設から脱水物を定期的に連続式熱風乾燥機5に送る方法も考えることができる。しかし、処理装置1の設備全体が大型化してしまうとともに、脱水物を貯めることによって、脱水物が圧密されて団子状になってしまう不具合があるため、貯留施設を設ける形態はあまり好ましくない。

It is also possible to consider a method in which a dehydration storage facility (not shown) is provided between the dehydration conveyor 7 and the continuous hot air dryer 5 and the dehydration is periodically sent from the storage facility to the continuous hot air dryer 5. be able to. However, since the whole equipment of the processing apparatus 1 is increased in size and the dehydrated product is stored in a dumpling shape by storing the dehydrated product, a configuration in which a storage facility is provided is not preferable.

(Continuous hot air dryer 5)
The continuous hot air dryer 5 contacts the dehydrated product from the dehydrator 3 and the hot air from the
The continuous hot air dryer 5 includes (1) a spray dryer, a flash dryer, a fluidized bed dryer, a rotary dryer, and the like in which a dehydrated product is dispersed and dried in hot air ( 2) Transfer the dehydrated product in a stationary state, such as an aeration band dryer, tunnel dryer (parallel flow band dryer), or jet flow dryer, and bring hot air into contact with the dehydrated product during the transfer process. And (3) a dehydrated product that is dried by bringing the dehydrated product into contact with hot air while being mechanically stirred. The “continuous type” of the continuous hot air dryer 5 indicates that it is not a batch type.
なお、前述のとおり、機内二液調質型遠心脱水機を用いて脱水した場合は、脱水物の平均粒径を10mm以下、含水率を74%以下にすることができる。この平均粒径や含水率は、ベルトプレス脱水機等の他の脱水機を用いて脱水した場合よりも低い値である。そのため、多用されている間接加熱式乾燥機(攪拌伝熱式装置)を用いずに、より安価でメンテナンス性に優れた気流乾燥機5を用いることができる。 As described above, when dewatering is performed using an in-machine two-liquid refining centrifugal dehydrator, the average particle size of the dehydrated product can be 10 mm or less and the water content can be 74% or less. The average particle size and moisture content are lower than when dehydrating using another dehydrator such as a belt press dehydrator. Therefore, it is possible to use the air dryer 5 which is cheaper and has excellent maintainability without using the indirect heating dryer (stirring heat transfer device) which is frequently used.
前記気流乾燥機5にも様々な種類があるが、機内二液調質型遠心脱水機3を用いることで脱水物の付着性が弱くなっていることから、脱水物を解砕せずに投入する解砕機無しの気流乾燥機5を採用することができる。 There are various types of the air dryer 5, but since the adherence of the dehydrated product is weakened by using the in-machine two-liquid refining type centrifugal dehydrator 3, the dehydrated product is input without crushing. An air dryer 5 without a crusher can be employed.
An example of the air dryer 5 is shown in FIG. The air dryer 5 is a circular tube air dryer 5 in which pipes (hereinafter also referred to as “pipes”) through which a hot air flow passes are arranged in an annular shape. The illustrated air dryer 5 extends horizontally in a direction in which the hot air sent from the
The hot air generated by the
この円管式気流乾燥機5に供給したばかりの脱水物は、遠心力の影響によって、各パイプ5a〜5dの外周側を流れることが多い。そして、脱水物の乾燥が進むにつれて脱水物の凝集状態が解けて平均粒径が小さくなるため、各パイプ5a〜5dの内周側を流れるようになり、パイプ5dの内側に設けた排出口5Yから排出されることになる。
The dehydrated product that has just been supplied to the circular tube air dryer 5 often flows on the outer peripheral side of each of the
気流乾燥機5の運転においては、各パイプ5a〜5d内の熱風の風速を10m/s以上にすることが好ましい。より好ましくは、熱風によって脱水物を円滑に搬送するため、15m/s以上にすると良い。さらに好ましくは、供給口5Xから供給された脱水物を循環している熱風と高速で衝突させることにより、脱水物を熱風中に分散させることができるため、20m/s以上にすると良い。
In the operation of the air dryer 5, it is preferable that the wind speed of the hot air in each of the
Moreover, the airflow temperature is not particularly limited. However, the temperature is preferably 350 to 450 ° C, more preferably 390 to 410 ° C, and still more preferably 400 ° C. This is because when the airflow temperature is low, the object to be treated cannot be sufficiently dried, and the moisture content of the dried substance becomes high. Moreover, when the airflow temperature is high, the fuel cost of the
In addition, in order to suppress an odor, it is suitable to make it dry so that the moisture content of the dried material discharged | emitted from the airflow dryer 5 may be 10 to 50%.
図1においては、パイプ5a〜5dを環状に構成した円管式気流乾燥機5を示した。しかし、連続式気流乾燥機5は環状のものに限られず、すべてのパイプを直線状または略直線状に配置した直管式気流乾燥機にしても良い。
In FIG. 1, a circular tube type air dryer 5 in which the
なお、この円管式気流乾燥機5のサイズを大きくしたとしても、小さくしたとしても、乾燥機5内に脱水物が滞留する滞留時間にほとんど変化は生じない。 In addition, even if the size of the tubular airflow dryer 5 is increased or decreased, there is almost no change in the residence time in which the dehydrated matter stays in the dryer 5.
In addition, although the manufacturing cost and the repair cost are high, the stirring heat transfer type dryer is provided in place of the continuous hot air dryer 5, and a part of the separated gas from the solid-
なお、弊社が製造販売しているインクラインドディスク型ドライヤなどの間接加熱式乾燥機では、有機性廃棄物を供給してから排出されるまでに数十分〜1時間程度かかってしまい、有機性廃棄物の変性によって悪臭が発生する可能性が高いため、本発明の乾燥機5としては向いていない。 In addition, indirect heating type dryers such as incline disc type dryers manufactured and sold by our company, it takes tens of minutes to about one hour from supplying organic waste to discharging it. Since there is a high possibility that a bad odor is generated due to the modification of the waste, it is not suitable as the dryer 5 of the present invention.
That is, as the continuous air flow dryer 5 in the present invention, the dryer 5 in which the heat capacity coefficient determined from the size of the dryer 5 and the temperature and amount of the supplied hot air gas is in the range of 2000 to 4000 kcal / m 3 h ° C. Is preferably used. The higher the heat capacity coefficient, the more heat energy can be transferred to the organic waste, and the energy can be used for the evaporation of the moisture of the organic waste. The circular tube type air dryer 5 has an extremely high heat capacity coefficient as compared with an ink-disk type dryer and the like, so that sufficient drying can be performed with a short residence time. It becomes possible to suppress bad odor.

As the granular material upstream conveying
The
また、スクリューコンベア9に供給される粉粒体の温度は約65℃〜90℃という高温である。そこで、粉粒体の粗熱を取って65℃程度まで下げるため、スクリューコンベア9を水冷式にすることが好ましい。具体的には、スクリューコンベア9のジャケットの外に冷却用の水を流すとともに、シャフトの内部にも水を流すことで、外側と内側の両方から粉粒体を冷却する構造である。
Moreover, the temperature of the granular material supplied to the

By rotating the

(Other)
Other methods may be used for measuring the maximum particle size and the average particle size. For example, as shown in the figure, organic waste (dehydrated matter) that moves on a belt conveyor using a measuring device 8 (for example, an image size measuring device, Keyence Corporation, lighting-integrated image sensor VI series). Can be obtained from the captured image. In this embodiment, the particle size is calculated from the uneven shape of the dehydrated product carried by the conveyor. At the same time, the calculated value of the particle size may be corrected by measuring the number and color of the dehydrated edges.
Depending on the type of dehydrator, the dehydrated product may not be granular. For example, when a belt press is used for the dehydrator, the dehydrated material is often in the form of a sheet. In addition, the shape of the dehydrated product may be plate or columnar. Therefore, in such a case, it is crushed by a crusher or the like before being supplied to the continuous hot air dryer. In the present invention, the particle size of the granulated material after this crushing is measured, it is determined whether the maximum particle size and the average particle size are desirable values, and it may be determined whether to supply to the continuous hot air dryer. .
また、脱水機によって脱水していない有機性廃棄物を連続式熱風乾燥機に供給することもある。この場合においても、粒径の計測方法は、前記と同様に考えることができる。 In addition, organic waste that has not been dehydrated by the dehydrator may be supplied to the continuous hot air dryer. Also in this case, the particle diameter measurement method can be considered in the same manner as described above.

Example 1
Sewage sludge (digested sludge) was used as organic waste. The sludge concentration of this digested sludge was 1.6% (water content 98.4%).
First, the digested sludge was dehydrated for 10 to 20 minutes using an in-machine two-component refining centrifugal dehydrator. In this in-machine two-liquid refining type centrifugal dehydrator, a polymer flocculant and an inorganic flocculant (polyferric sulfate) were used. Thereafter, the dehydrated product was sent to the twin screw conveyor through the pipe. Moreover, it was 75 to 76% when the moisture content of the dehydration was measured using the moisture meter attached to this piping.
次に、スクリューコンベアを用いて、円管式気流乾燥機に脱水物を供給した。この供給は、前記式1で求める平均滞留時間Tが5〜7分となるように行った。具体的には、円管式気流乾燥機へ供給する消化汚泥の脱水物の量が25〜35kg-ds/hであった。また、円管式気流乾燥機内に貯留できる消化汚泥の量(保有量)が3kg-dsであった。 Next, using a screw conveyor, the dehydrated product was supplied to a circular tube air dryer. This supply was performed so that the average residence time T obtained by the above-mentioned formula 1 was 5 to 7 minutes. Specifically, the amount of dehydrated digested sludge supplied to the circular tube air dryer was 25 to 35 kg-ds / h. In addition, the amount (retention amount) of digested sludge that can be stored in the circular tube air dryer was 3 kg-ds.
また、脱水物を一部サンプリングし、粒径測定を行った。そして、最大粒径が60mm以上の場合や、平均粒径が1〜10mmの範囲にない場合は、スクリューコンベアを逆回転して、脱水物を消化タンクへ送り、それ以外の脱水物を円管式気流乾燥機へ供給するようにした。 A part of the dehydrated material was sampled and the particle size was measured. And when the maximum particle size is 60 mm or more, or when the average particle size is not in the range of 1 to 10 mm, the screw conveyor is reversely rotated and the dehydrated product is sent to the digestion tank, and the other dehydrated products are piped It was made to supply to a type | formula airflow dryer.
次に、円管式気流乾燥機において、400℃の熱風を用いて、脱水物を乾燥させた。そして、円管式気流乾燥機から排出された乾燥物をサイクロンへ供給し、遠心力によって固気分離を行った。その後、サイクロンの下端部に溜まった粉粒体をロータリーバルブによって切り出し、その排出物を最終製品とみなし、臭気指数を計測したところ30〜34であった。 Next, the dehydrated product was dried using hot air at 400 ° C. in a circular tube air dryer. And the dried material discharged | emitted from the circular tube type air dryer was supplied to the cyclone, and solid-gas separation was performed with the centrifugal force. Thereafter, the granular material accumulated at the lower end of the cyclone was cut out by a rotary valve, the discharged product was regarded as the final product, and the odor index was measured to be 30 to 34.

有機性廃棄物として下水汚泥(混合生汚泥)を用いた。実施例1と同じ円筒式気流乾燥機(保有量3kg-ds)に、有機性廃棄物(脱水物)を30〜40kg-ds/hで供給した。その結果、供給した有機性廃棄物(複数の粒子から構成される)が円管式気流乾燥機内に留まる時間(平均滞留時間)は4〜6秒であった。それ以外は、実施例1と同様である。そして、臭気指数を計測したところ38〜40であった。

Sewage sludge (mixed raw sludge) was used as organic waste. Organic waste (dehydrated product) was supplied at 30 to 40 kg-ds / h to the same cylindrical air dryer (retained amount 3 kg-ds) as in Example 1. As a result, the time (average residence time) in which the supplied organic waste (consisting of a plurality of particles) stayed in the circular tube type air dryer was 4 to 6 seconds. The rest is the same as in the first embodiment. And when the odor index was measured, it was 38-40.

(Discussion)
When the average residence time T calculated by the above formula 1 is supplied so as to be about 25 to 35 (minutes), the organic waste is denatured by drying and the odor tends to become strong. On the other hand, in this invention, it turns out that the odor is suppressed by supplying so that the average residence time T calculated | required by said Formula 1 may be 4-7 (min).
