Abstract
【解決手段】(A)非晶性ポリα−オレフィン及び(B)メタロセンポリマーを含む、ストロー付容器用ホットメルト接着剤。

Description
本発明において、「(A)非晶性ポリα−オレフィン(以下、「(A)成分」ともいう)」とは、非晶性のα−オレフィンの重合体であって、一般的に、非晶性ポリα−オレフィンと呼ばれるものである。本発明に係るホットメルト接着剤を得ることができる限り、(A)非晶性ポリα−オレフィンは特に制限されるものではない。
本発明において、「(B)メタロセンポリマー(以下、「(B)成分」ともいう)
」とは、結晶性のα−オレフィンの重合体であって、重合触媒としてメタロセン触媒を用いて製造されたもの、すなわち、“結晶性ポリα−オレフィン”を示す。ここで、「結晶性」とは、通常「結晶性」と呼ばれるものを意味し、より具体的には高分子が規則正しく配列する状態をいう。
「(C)粘着付与樹脂」は、ホットメルト接着剤に通常使用されるものであって、本発明が目的とするホットメルト接着剤を得ることができるものであれば、特に限定されることはない。
本発明において、ホットメルト接着剤は、さらに、(D)ワックスを含むことが好ましい。ホットメルト接着剤は、(D)ワックスを含むことで、適度な硬さを保ち、ブロッキングを防止することができる。
本発明のホットメルト接着剤は、オイルを含むことが好ましい。「オイル」は、ホットメルト接着剤の溶融粘度低下、柔軟性の付与、被着体への濡れ向上を目的として配合され、成分(A)および(B)に相溶し、本発明が目的とするホットメルト接着剤を得ることができるものであれば、特に限定されるものではない。オイルとして、例えばパラフィン系オイル、ナフテン系オイル及び芳香族系オイルを挙げることができる。無色、無臭であるパラフィン系オイルが特に好ましい。
尚、実施例の記載において、特に記載がない限り、溶媒を考慮しない部分を、重量部及び重量%の基準とする。
(A1)非晶性プロピレンホモポリマー(イーストフレックスP1010PL(商品名)、イーストマンケミカル社製、粘度1000mPa・s:190℃、軟化点155℃、密度0.87g/cm3)
(A2)非晶性プロピレン/エチレン/1−ブテン共重合体(ベストプラスト703(商品名)、エボニック社製、粘度2700mPa・s:190℃、軟化点124℃、密度0.87g/cm3)
(A3)非晶性プロピレン/エチレン/1−ブテン共重合体(ベストプラスト704(商品名)、エボニック社製、粘度3500mPa・s:190℃、軟化点105℃、密度0.87g/cm3)
(A4)非晶性プロピレン/エチレン/1−ブテン共重合体(ベストプラスト708(商品名)、エボニック社製、粘度8000mPa・s:190℃、軟化点106℃、密度0.87g/cm3)
(A5)非晶性プロピレン/1−ブテン共重合体(レキセンタック2715A(商品名)、ハンツマン社製、粘度1500mPa・s:190℃、軟化点110℃、密度0.87g/cm3)
(A6)非晶性プロピレン/1−ブテン共重合体(レキセンタック2780A(商品名)、ハンツマン社製、粘度8000mPa・s:190℃、軟化点110℃、密度0.87g/cm3)
(A'7)SBS(タフプレンA(商品名)、旭化成ケミカルズ社製、スチレン含有率40重量%)

(D1)パラフィンワックス(Paraffin Wax−150(商品名)、日本精蝋社製)
(D2)フィッシャートロプシュワックス(サゾールH8(商品名)、サゾール社製)
(D3)マイクロクリスタリンワックス(マイクロワックス180(商品名)、JX日鉱日石エネルギー社製)
(E1)パラフィンオイル(ダイアナフレシアS32(商品名)、出光興産社製)
(E2)パラフィンオイル(ファゾ-ル35(商品名)、SK LUBRICANTS社製)
(E3)ナフテンオイル(サンピュアN90(商品名)、日本サン石油社製)
(F1)酸化防止剤(アデカスタブAO-60(商品名)、アデカ社製)
万能攪拌機を用い、表1に示す割合(重量部)で(A)〜(F)の各成分を約145℃で約1.5時間、加熱、溶融及び混合し、実施例及び比較例のホットメルト接着剤を製造した。
180℃の各々の温度でホットメルト接着剤を溶融し、20分後、ブルックフィールド粘度計を用い、27番のローターを使用して粘度を測定した。粘度は、JAI7−1991、B法に基づき、測定された。
各実施例及び比較例のホットメルト接着剤の粘度(180℃)を測定し、初期サンプルとした。70mlのガラス容器にホットメルト接着剤(初期サンプル)20gを入れ、180℃の恒温槽で72時間静置させ、経時サンプルとした。
○:粘度維持率が80%〜120%、かつ、状態変化がない。
×:粘度維持率が80%未満、あるいは120%を越えるか、若しくは、状態変化がある。
リング:ホットメルト接着剤の劣化物がガラス容器壁面にリング状に析出すること。
スキン;ホットメルト接着剤の劣化物が液面に皮張りした状態。
相分離:ホットメルトが分離し、2層もしくはそれ以上になること。
(サンプル作製)
被着体(又は基材)である紙パックに、ホットメルト接着剤0.03〜0.04gをホットメルトガンで塗工した。塗工温度は180℃であった。ホットメルト接着剤が塗工された被着体と、ポリプロピレン製ストロー包装体とを重ね合わせ、指で押圧して評価用サンプルとした。
万能引張試験機(島津製作所社製)を用い、上記にて作製した接着強度評価用のサンプルについて300mm/minの速度で剥離試験を行った。ホットメルト接着剤(実施例および比較例)の各々について、少なくとも3個のサンプルを測定して各々の接着強度の値を得、それらの平均値を計算して平均接着強度の値(単に「接着強度」ともいう)を得た。4℃、23℃及び50℃の各々の温度で測定した。接着強度の評価は以下のとおりである。
B(良):平均接着強度が8N以上〜15N未満
C(不可):平均接着強度が8N未満
ホットメルト接着剤を5mm厚のシートにし、25mm角に2枚カットした。カットされた2枚のシートを重ね合わせ、荷重1kgをかけた状態で、23℃で24時間、ホットメルトシートを重ねた状態で精置した。その後、2枚のホットメルトシートを手で剥離し、ホットメルトシートの状態を確認した。評価基準は以下のとおりである。
△:やや接着しているが、界面で剥がすことができる
×:剥がすとホットメルトの凝集破壊が生じる。もしくは剥がせない。

Claims (7)
- (A)非晶性ポリα−オレフィン及び(B)メタロセンポリマーを含む、ストロー付容器用ホットメルト接着剤。
- さらに、(C)粘着付与樹脂及び(D)ワックスを含む、請求項1に記載のストロー付容器用ホットメルト接着剤。
- さらに、(E)オイルを含む、請求項1または2に記載のストロー付容器用ホットメルト接着剤。
- (A)〜(E)の総重量100重量部に対して(C)粘着付与樹脂が5〜30重量部含まれている、請求項3に記載のストロー付容器用ホットメルト接着剤。
- (A)非晶性ポリα−オレフィンがプロピレンに由来する化学構造を有する、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のストロー付容器用ホットメルト接着剤。
- さらに、(B)メタロセンポリマーが結晶性ポリプロピレンホモポリマーを含む、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のストロー付容器用ホットメルト接着剤。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のホットメルト接着剤でストローが容器に保持されているストロー付容器。
