Abstract
Description
(B1)アニリン点が135℃以上の炭化水素系オイルと
を含むホットメルト組成物。
(A)ビニル系芳香族炭化水素と共役ジエン化合物との共重合体である熱可塑性ブロック共重合体(以下、単に「(A)熱可塑性ブロック共重合体」または「成分(A)」とも記載する)とは、ビニル系芳香族炭化水素と共役ジエン化合物とがブロック共重合した共重合体(その共重合体に基づく共重合体を含む)である。「(A)熱可塑性ブロック共重合体」は、ビニル系芳香族炭化水素ブロックと共役ジエン化合物ブロックとを有するブロック共重合体(未水素添加型ブロック共重合体)であっても、そのブロック共重合体が水素添加された水素添加型ブロック共重合体であってもよい。また、(A)熱可塑性ブロック共重合体は一種を単独で含んでも2種以上を組み合わせて含んでもよい。
(B)炭化水素系液状軟化剤(単に「成分(B)」とも記載する)は、ホットメルト組成物の溶融粘度調整、柔軟性の付与、被着体への濡れ向上を目的として配合される。炭化水素系液状軟化剤は、炭素と水素を主体とし、室温(約20℃)で液状である。炭化水素系液状軟化剤は、酸素原子、窒素原子、硫黄原子のようなヘテロ原子を有してもよい。炭化水素系液状軟化剤としては、例えば、パラフィン系、ナフテン系または芳香族系のプロセスオイル、液状ポリブテン、液状ポリブタジエン及び液状ポリイソプレン等の液状樹脂、流動パラフィン、オレフィンプロセスオイルが挙げられる。市販品のプロセスオイルとして、出光興産社製のダイアナプロセスオイルが挙げられる。
本発明のホットメルト組成物の一態様は、さらに(C)粘着付与樹脂(「成分(C)」とも記載する)を含むのが好ましい。成分(C)は、「(C1)軟化点が120℃以上の粘着付与樹脂」を含むのが好ましい。ここで、本明細書において、軟化点は、JIS K 2207に基づき、石油アスファルト試験に準拠した自動軟化点装置(環球式)で測定された値とする。粘着付与樹脂の軟化点が上記範囲にあることによって、本発明のポリマー組成物の流動性が安定化する。
本発明のホットメルト組成物の一態様は、さらに、ポリカーボネート成分を含むのが好ましい。被着体がポリカーボネート基材である場合、ポリカーボネート成分と被着体の化学的な親和性により、灯具のレンズ部への密着性が高くなる。すなわち、ホットメルト組成物がポリカーボネート成分を含むことにより、ポリカーボネートへの高い密着性が得られる。また、ホットメルト組成物を灯具に用いる場合は、ポリカーボネート基材への密着性が高いと、灯具を解体する際にレンズ(ポリカーボネート)側にホットメルト組成物を残すことができる。
本発明のホットメルト組成物の一態様は、さらにアクリル成分を含むのが好ましい。アクリル成分は灯具レンズの成分であるポリカーボネートに溶解度パラメーターが近いので、アクリル成分とポリカーボネートとの化学的親和性により、ホットメルト組成物はポリカーボネートへの密着性が向上する。

各ホットメルト組成物の形態維持性を評価するために、深さ12mm、幅7mm、長さ14mmのポリプロピレン製の溝にホットメルト組成物を流し込み、角度70°で、130℃の乾燥機に24時間静置して、ホットメルト組成物の下部先端の移動距離(塗布直後の状態から流れ出た距離)を測定した。該移動距離に基づく評価基準を以下に示す。
溶融粘度は、ホットメルト組成物を加熱して溶融し、210℃、200℃、190℃及び180℃において、溶融状態の粘度を、ブルックフィールド社製回転粘度計を用いて1rpmの回転数にて測定した。スピンドルを粘度計に取付け、スピンドルを回転させて、加温開始30分後の最低値を測定した。スピンドルは27番ローターを使用した。
各ホットメルト組成物のPC(ポリカーボネート)密着性と解体性を評価するために、幅25mm、長さ100mm、厚さ3mmのPC板2枚を用い、190℃に溶融したホットメルト組成物を塗布し、接着剤層の幅25mm、長さ5mmの剪断試験片を作成した。2枚のポリカーボネート板ギャップは2mm程度とした。
同様に、各ホットメルト組成物について耐熱サイクル後のPC密着性と解体性を評価するために、幅25mm、長さ100mm、厚さ3mmのPC板2枚を用い、190℃に溶融したホットメルト組成物を塗布し、接着剤層の幅25mm、長さ5mmの剪断試験片を作成した。2枚のポリカーボネート板ギャップは2mm程度とした。剪断試験片を小型環境試験機(エスペック社製SH−241型)にセットし、20℃1h後、昇温1h、85℃1h後、降温1hを1サイクルとし、1000サイクル後に耐熱サイクルオーブンから取出した。剪断試験片を引張試験機(テンシロンRTM250型)にセットし、50mm/分の引張速度で引張試験を実施し最大荷重を測定した。この最大荷重(N)を剪断接着力とした。

190℃に溶融したホットメルト組成物をカートリッジに入れ、ホットメルトガン(REKA Klebetechnik社製ヒートガン TR80型)を用いて離型紙上に2mmビード状に塗布した。110mlのガラス瓶(AS ONE社製スクリュー管瓶No.8 高さ120mm、口径21mm、ガラス瓶中央部外径40mm)に上記の接着剤をカットし1グラムを入れ、ポリカーボネート板で蓋をして錘をのせた。
耐フォギング性試験の評価基準は以下のとおりである。
○:ポリカーボネート板上に付着物がなかった。
×:ポリカーボネート板上に付着物があった。

- (A1)スチレン−エチレン−エチレン/プロピレン−スチレンブロック共重合体(SEEPS)と、
(B1)アニリン点が135℃以上の炭化水素系オイルと
を含むホットメルト組成物。 - さらに、(A2)スチレン−エチレン/プロピレンブロック共重合体(SEP)を含む、請求項1に記載のホットメルト組成物。
- (A1)スチレン−エチレン−エチレン/プロピレン−スチレンブロック共重合体(SEEPS)100重量部に対する、(A2)スチレン−エチレン/プロピレンブロック共重合体(SEP)の含有量が5〜100重量部である、請求項2に記載のホットメルト組成物。
- さらに、(C1)軟化点が120℃以上の粘着付与樹脂を含む、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のホットメルト組成物。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のホットメルト組成物を介し、レンズ部とハウジング部とが接合された灯具。
- 請求項5に記載の灯具を有する車輌。
