Abstract
【解決手段】 摺動層には、黒鉛により取り囲まれた海島構造の形態で摺動層中に分散する島状銅合金相を含み、摺動層に対する摺動面に平行方向の長さが25〜500μmである島状銅合金相の割合を、5〜40体積%としている。これにより、摺動層に負荷される起動時には、島状銅合金相が周囲を黒鉛により取り込まれており、黒鉛との界面ですべりが発生するので、島状銅合金相には僅かな弾性変形しか生じることがなく、相手部材との静摩擦係数が低くなる。

Claims (4)
- 鋼裏金の表面に、摺動面を有する摺動層を設けた銅系摺動部材であって、
前記摺動層は銅合金と20〜40体積%の黒鉛とからなり、前記銅合金はSnを1〜15質量%含有し、残部が銅及び不可避不純物からなる銅系摺動部材において、
前記摺動層は、前記黒鉛により取り囲まれた海島構造の形態で前記摺動層中に分散する島状銅合金相を含み、
前記島状銅合金相は、前記摺動面に平行方向の長さが25〜500μmであるものを含み、
前記摺動層に対する前記摺動面に平行方向の長さが25〜500μmである島状銅合金相の割合は、5〜40体積%であることを特徴とする銅系摺動部材。 - 前記摺動面に平行方向の長さが25〜500μmである島状銅合金相は、前記摺動面に平行方向の長さxと前記摺動面に垂直方向の長さyとの比(x/y)で定義されるアスペクト比が1.2〜5であるものが50体積%以上であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の銅系摺動部材。
- 前記銅合金は、さらにNiを1〜15質量%、Pを0.01〜0.5質量%の少なくとも1種以上を含有することを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2記載の銅系摺動部材。
- 前記銅合金は、さらにPbとBiとの少なくとも1種以上を1〜10質量%含有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれかに記載の銅系摺動部材。
