Abstract
Description
本発明は、導電性反射型偏光フィルムに関する。 The present invention relates to a conductive reflective polarizing film.
In recent years, the configuration of a display device has been increasingly complicated, and a plurality of electronic devices are often mounted, and unnecessary electromagnetic noise that adversely affects each electronic device is generated. In order to reduce the influence of such electronic noise, a conductive sheet having electromagnetic wave shielding characteristics is used. For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a liquid crystal display device that is configured by arranging a shield electrode on the side where a liquid crystal layer of an insulating substrate is formed. However, in such a configuration, the pixel electrode, the common electrode, and the like are arranged at positions close to each other, and the structure becomes very complicated.
On the other hand, Patent Document 2 discloses a liquid crystal display device that can exhibit a shielding characteristic with a simple structure by using a wire grid polarizing plate. The wire grid polarizing plate includes a polarizer configured by arranging a plurality of linear metal thin wires in parallel at a predetermined pitch, and has a characteristic of transmitting polarized light in a predetermined direction and reflecting polarized light orthogonal to the direction. . Since a wire grid polarizing plate is provided with a thin metal wire, it has conductivity and can also function as an electromagnetic wave shield. However, it is necessary to provide a protective layer to protect the polarizer, and it is difficult for the conventional wire grid polarizing plate to be electrically connected to the outside while ensuring scratch resistance.
本発明は上記の課題を解決するためになされたものであり、その目的とするところは、保護層により保護されたワイヤグリッド偏光子を備え、該ワイヤグリッド偏光子からの導通が確保された導電性反射型偏光フィルムを提供することにある。 The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a wire grid polarizer protected by a protective layer, and to ensure conduction from the wire grid polarizer. 1つの実施形態においては、上記金属性粒子の平均粒径Xと上記バインダー樹脂から構成される領域の厚みYとが、Y≦X≦20Yの関係を満たす。
1つの実施形態においては、上記金属性粒子の平均一次粒径が、5nm〜100μmである。
1つの実施形態においては、上記金属性粒子の含有割合が、上記バインダー樹脂100重量部に対して、0.1重量部〜20重量部である。
1つの実施形態においては、上記金属性粒子が、銀粒子である。

On the other hand, when X ≦ 20Y, the metallic particles are favorably retained in the protective layer. In the present specification, when simply referred to as “average particle diameter”, the “average particle diameter” means the average particle diameter (primary particle diameter) of metallic particles existing as single particles and the metallic particles existing as aggregates. The protruding height Z of the metallic particles protruding from the region composed of the binder resin is preferably 1 nm to 10 μm, more preferably 3 nm to 7 μm. If it is such a range, the electroconductive reflective polarizing film which is excellent in conduction | electrical_connection with the exterior can be obtained. Also, the wire grid polarizer can be effectively protected.
上記保護層中に存在する金属性粒子の平均一次粒径は、好ましくは5nm〜100μmであり、より好ましくは10nm〜50μmであり、さらに好ましくは20nm〜10μmである。このような範囲であれば、導通に優れる保護層を形成することができる。また、金属性粒子の平均一次粒径を10μm以下とすることにより、耐擦傷性により優れる導電性反射型偏光フィルムを得ることができる。 The average primary particle size of the metallic particles present in the protective layer is preferably 5 nm to 100 μm, more preferably 10 nm to 50 μm, and further preferably 20 nm to 10 μm.
