前記バックライトのピーク角度は、前記液晶パネルの正面方向に対して下向きであることを特徴とする。

Claims (4)
- 車室内に取り付けられ、後方視認のために用いられる電子ミラー装置であって、
前面側からの入射光を反射するとともに、背面側からの入射光を透過する光学部材と、
前記光学部材の背面側に配置される液晶パネル及び前記液晶パネルを照射するバックライトを有し、車両の後方視界の画像を表示する液晶ディスプレイと、を備え、
前記バックライトのピーク角度は、前記液晶パネルの正面方向に対して下向きである、
電子ミラー装置。 - 前記光学部材及び前記液晶ディスプレイを一体的に所定の傾動角度で傾動させ、前記光学部材の鏡面に映る反射像によって後方視認を行う第1の使用状態、又は前記光学部材の鏡面が前記第1の使用状態よりも上向きに傾斜し前記液晶ディスプレイの表示画像によって後方視認を行う第2の使用状態のいずれかに使用状態を切り替える切替機構を備え、
前記バックライトのピーク角度は、前記傾動角度よりも大きい、
請求項1に記載の電子ミラー装置。 - 前記第1の使用状態における視線角度αの取り得る範囲が、当該電子ミラー装置が搭載される前記車室内におけるアイリプスに基づいて規定され、
前記視線角度αの下限値をα1、上限値をα2、前記傾動角度をθとしたとき、
前記バックライトのピーク角度は、(θ+α1)以上(θ+α2)以下である、
請求項2に記載の電子ミラー装置。 - 前記バックライトは、面状発光部と、前記面状発光部の発光面上に配置され、前記発光面側にプリズム面を有する逆プリズム形状のプリズムシートと、を有し、
前記プリズム面は、上下方向に非対称である、
請求項1に記載の電子ミラー装置。
