Abstract
Description
本発明は、繊維状銅微粒子分散液の製造方法に関するものである。 The present invention relates to a method for producing a fibrous copper fine particle dispersion.
銅微粒子は導電性に優れ、導電性に優れる銀と比較すると、イオンマイグレーションが起こりにくく、安価な材料であることから、導電性コーティング剤などの原料として広く用いられている。このような導電性コーティング剤は、プリント配線板などにおいて各種印刷法を用いて回路を形成するための材料や、各種の電気的接点部材などとして幅広く利用されている。 Copper fine particles are excellent in conductivity, and are less likely to cause ion migration than silver, which is excellent in conductivity, and are widely used as raw materials for conductive coating agents and the like because they are inexpensive materials. Such conductive coating agents are widely used as materials for forming circuits using various printing methods on printed wiring boards and the like, and various electrical contact members.
銅微粒子を導電材とする導電性コーティング剤は、銅微粒子の焼結などを目的とした焼成や還元が必要となるため、ポリマー基板には不適であるという問題があった。そのため、焼結を不要とする繊維状銅微粒子が検討されている。 A conductive coating agent using copper fine particles as a conductive material has a problem that it is not suitable for a polymer substrate because it requires firing and reduction for the purpose of sintering copper fine particles. Therefore, fibrous copper fine particles that do not require sintering have been studied.
例えば、特許文献1には、繊維状銅微粒子を、ヒドラジン、界面活性剤、アルコールなどを組み合わせた分散液が開示されている。 For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a dispersion in which fibrous copper fine particles are combined with hydrazine, a surfactant, alcohol, and the like.
しかしながら、特許文献1の繊維状銅微粒子分散液を用いて膜を作製しても、期待する導電性が得られない場合があった。 However, even when a film is prepared using the fibrous copper fine particle dispersion of Patent Document 1, the expected conductivity may not be obtained.
本発明の目的は、導電性に優れた繊維状銅微粒子膜が作製できる繊維状銅微粒子分散液の製造方法を提供することである。 The objective of this invention is providing the manufacturing method of the fibrous copper fine particle dispersion which can produce the fibrous copper fine particle film | membrane excellent in electroconductivity.
本発明者らは、上記の課題を解決するため鋭意検討した結果、特許文献1の繊維状銅微粒子分散液を用いて膜を形成しても期待する導電性が得られないのは、繊維状銅微粒子は、X線回折では銅を示していても、その表面は非常に不安定であり、繊維状微粒子の形成や精製時に、酸化などの劣化層を形成しているためであることを突き止めた。 As a result of intensive studies to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present inventors cannot obtain the expected conductivity even when a film is formed using the fibrous copper fine particle dispersion of Patent Document 1. Even though copper fine particles show copper by X-ray diffraction, the surface is very unstable, and it has been determined that a deterioration layer such as oxidation is formed during the formation and purification of fibrous fine particles. It was.
本発明者らは、繊維状銅微粒子と、ポリオールまたは還元剤を含む分散液を加熱することにより、上記課題を解決できることを見出し、本発明に到達した。 The present inventors have found that the above problems can be solved by heating a dispersion containing fibrous copper fine particles and a polyol or a reducing agent, and have reached the present invention.

(2)(1)記載の製造方法によって得られることを特徴とする繊維状銅微粒子分散液。

In order to reduce the surface of the fibrous copper fine particles, it is necessary to heat the dispersion containing the fibrous copper fine particles and the reducing agent or polyol. The heating temperature is preferably 25 ° C. or more and less than 400 ° C., more preferably 70 ° C. or more and less than 200 ° C. By setting the heating temperature to 25 ° C. or higher and lower than 400 ° C., the deteriorated layer on the surface of the fibrous copper fine particles can be efficiently removed.
本発明の製造方法に用いる還元剤としては、例えば、鉄塩、水素化アルミニウムリチウム、水素化ホウ素ナトリウム、水素化ジイソブチルアルミニウム、ヒドラジン、アスコルビン酸、シュウ酸、ギ酸、ジエチルヒドロキシアミンが挙げられ、ポリオールとしては、例えば、エチレングリコール、プロピレングリコール、ジエチレングリコール、グリセリンが挙げられる。 Examples of the reducing agent used in the production method of the present invention include iron salt, lithium aluminum hydride, sodium borohydride, diisobutylaluminum hydride, hydrazine, ascorbic acid, oxalic acid, formic acid, diethylhydroxyamine, and polyol. Examples thereof include ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, diethylene glycol, and glycerin.
本発明の製造方法に用いる繊維状銅微粒子の平均長、平均径、形状は特に限定されない。平均長は5〜100μmであることが好ましく、平均径は10〜200nmであることが好ましい。平均径、平均長が前記範囲の繊維状銅微粒子は、導電塗料や透明導電膜などの用途に好適に使用することができる。平均径は、10〜150nmであることがより好ましい。 The average length, average diameter, and shape of the fibrous copper fine particles used in the production method of the present invention are not particularly limited. The average length is preferably 5 to 100 μm, and the average diameter is preferably 10 to 200 nm. It can manufacture by depositing a fibrous copper microparticle from the aqueous solution containing this.
本発明の製造方法において、分散液中の繊維状銅微粒子の濃度は、特に制限されないが、0.01〜1.0質量%とすることが好ましい。濃度が0.01質量%未満の場合、必要な溶媒量、加熱に必要な熱エネルギーが増えるため、コスト面で不利になる。一方、濃度が1.0質量%を超える場合、得られる分散液中の繊維状銅微粒子が凝集しやすくなり、分散性や成膜性が低下したりする場合がある。 In the production method of the present invention, the concentration of the fibrous copper fine particles in the dispersion is not particularly limited, but is preferably 0.01 to 1.0% by mass. When the concentration is less than 0.01% by mass, a necessary amount of solvent and heat energy necessary for heating increase, which is disadvantageous in terms of cost. On the other hand, when the concentration exceeds 1.0% by mass, the fibrous copper fine particles in the obtained dispersion liquid tend to aggregate, and the dispersibility and film formability may decrease.
本発明の製造方法において、繊維状銅微粒子と、ポリオールまたは還元剤の合計の濃度は、0.1〜100質量%であることが好ましい。前記割合が0.1質量%未満である場合、表面の劣化層の除去が不十分となる場合がある。 In the production method of the present invention, the total concentration of the fibrous copper fine particles and the polyol or the reducing agent is preferably 0.1 to 100% by mass. When the said ratio is less than 0.1 mass%, removal of the surface deterioration layer may become inadequate.
本発明の繊維状銅微粒子分散液には、本発明の効果を損なわない範囲で、pHを調整して表面の劣化層を除去する効率を向上させるため、アンモニア、アミン類などを含有させてもよく、成膜性を向上させるため、濡れ剤、レベリング剤を、接着性を向上させるため、バインダーを含有させてもよい。 The fibrous copper fine particle dispersion of the present invention may contain ammonia, amines, etc. in order to improve the efficiency of adjusting the pH and removing the deteriorated layer on the surface as long as the effects of the present invention are not impaired.
