Claims (15)
- アキュムレータ燃料システムのアキュムレータ容積部内の燃料の圧力を所定の閾値レベルに制限するのに使用するためのバルブ装置(28)であって、
前記バルブ装置(28)は、
低圧ドレンと連通するためのバルブ出口(64、66)と、
前記アキュムレータ容積部から燃料を受け入れるためのバルブハウジングボア(48)を備えたバルブハウジング(30)と、
前記ハウジングボア(48)の第1区分に摺動可能に受け入れられたボール(50)を含むバルブ部材(50)とを備え、
前記バルブ部材(50)は、燃料が前記アキュムレータ容積部から前記バルブ出口(64、66)に流れないようにするため、前記バルブハウジングボアが形成する弁座(56)と係合した閉鎖位置を持っており、
前記バルブ装置(28)は、また、
前記バルブ部材(50)を前記弁座(56)に向かって押圧するための押圧手段(70)と、
バルブ開放移動の第1段階中、前記バルブ部材(50)が前記弁座(56)から持ち上がると直ぐに、前記アキュムレータ容積部と前記バルブ出口(64、66)との間の燃料の流れを制流するための第1制流手段(80)と、
前記第1段階に続くバルブ開放移動の第2段階中に有効な、前記第1段階中よりも大きい制流を提供する、第2制流手段(82)と、
前記第2段階に続くバルブ開放移動の第3段階中に有効な、前記バルブ部材(50)の開放移動の程度に応じて燃料の流れに対して可変の制流を提供する、第3制流手段(84)とを備え、
前記第1、第2、及び第3の制流手段(80、82、84)の各々は、前記ボール(50)と、前記バルブハウジングボア(48)の前記第1区分との間に形成される、バルブ装置(28)。 - 請求項1に記載のバルブ装置(28)であって、
前記第3制流手段(84)は、燃料流れに対し、前記第1制流手段(80)又は前記第2制流手段(82)のいずれよりも、低い制流を提供する、バルブ装置(28)。 - 請求項1又は2に記載のバルブ装置(28)であって、
前記バルブ開放移動の前記第1段階は、前記アキュムレータ容積部内の燃料の圧力が前記所定の閾値レベルに達したときに開始する、バルブ装置(28)。 - 請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載のバルブ装置(28)であって、
前記第3制流状態(84)は、高圧燃料が、前記ボール(50)が着座している場合よりも遥かに大きい前記ボール(50)の表面積と接触でき、従って、前記ボール(50)は、前記ボール(50)が最初に開放する前記所定の閾値レベルよりも実質的に低い圧力で開放したままである、位置にあるように構成されている、バルブ装置(28)。 - 請求項1乃至4のうちのいずれか一項に記載のバルブ装置(28)であって、
前記弁座(56)は、前記バルブハウジングボアによって形成された第1円錐形区分(54)に配置されている、バルブ装置(28)。 - 請求項1乃至5のうちのいずれか一項に記載のバルブ装置(28)であって、
前記第1制流手段(80)は、前記バルブ部材(50)と前記弁座(56)との間に形成されている、バルブ装置(28)。 - 請求項6に記載のバルブ装置(28)であって、
前記第3制流手段(84)は、前記バルブハウジングボアによって形成された第2円錐形区分(58)によって形成されている、バルブ装置(28)。 - 請求項7に記載のバルブ装置(28)であって、
前記第1及び第2の円錐形区分(54、58)は、その間に中間区分(60)を形成し、前記中間区分(60)は、前記バルブ部材(50)と協働し、前記第2制流手段(82)を形成する、バルブ装置(28)。 - 請求項8に記載のバルブ装置(28)であって、
前記中間区分(60)は、前記バルブ部材(50)が前記第1円錐形区分(54)から遠ざかる方向に前記第2円錐形区分(58)に向かって移動するに従って前記制流レベルが増大するように、テーパを持つように形成されている、バルブ装置(28)。 - 請求項1乃至9のうちのいずれか一項に記載のバルブ装置(28)であって、
前記バルブ装置(28)は、更に、前記押圧手段(70)と前記バルブ部材(50)との間に配置されたピストン部材(72)を備えた、バルブ装置(28)。 - 請求項10に記載のバルブ装置(28)であって、
前記バルブ部材(50)及び前記ピストン部材(72)は、互いに一体の構成要素として形成できる、バルブ装置(28)。 - 請求項10又は11に記載のバルブ装置(28)であって、更に、
前記ピストン部材(72)の移動範囲を制限するための手段(78)を備えた、バルブ装置(28)。 - 請求項10乃至12のうちのいずれか一項に記載のバルブ装置(28)であって、
前記ピストン部材(72)には、前記バルブ部材(50)と協働し前記バルブ部材(50)の位置決め及び/又は保持を補助する延長部(76)が設けられている、バルブ装置(28)。 - 請求項13に記載のバルブ装置(28)であって、
前記延長部(76)の端面は、前記バルブ部材(50)の位置決め及び/又は保持を補助するため、凹状をなしている、バルブ装置(28)。 - 高圧コモンレール燃料システムであって、
前記高圧コモンレール燃料システムは、前記燃料システムのアキュムレータ容積部内の燃料の圧力を所定の閾値レベルに制限する、請求項1乃至14のうちのいずれか一項に記載のバルブ装置(28)を含む、高圧コモンレール燃料システム。
