Abstract
【解決手段】燃料タンク15内の蒸発燃料をキャニスタ21に吸着させ、且つその吸着された蒸発燃料をエンジン11に吸入させ、燃料タンク15の内圧を検出する圧力センサ26を備える蒸発燃料処理装置において、圧力センサ26によって検出された圧力の単位時間当たりの変化が、あり得る燃料タンク15の圧力変化の最大値よりも大きい第1所定値以上のとき圧力センサ26の故障と判定する圧力センサ故障判定手段を備える。

Claims (3)
- 燃料タンク内の蒸発燃料をキャニスタに吸着させ、且つその吸着された蒸発燃料をエンジンに吸入させ、燃料タンクの内圧を検出する圧力センサを備える蒸発燃料処理装置において、
前記圧力センサによって検出された圧力の単位時間当たりの変化が、あり得る燃料タンクの圧力変化の最大値よりも大きい第1所定値以上のとき圧力センサの故障と判定する圧力センサ故障判定手段を備えることを特徴とする蒸発燃料処理装置。 - 請求項1において、
燃料タンクとキャニスタとを連通させるベーパ通路に設けられ、ベーパ通路を開閉する開閉弁と、
該開閉弁の開度を検出する弁開度検出手段とを備え、
前記圧力センサ故障判定手段は、前記弁開度検出手段によって検出される前記開閉弁の開度の単位時間当たりの変化に対して、あり得る燃料タンクの最大圧力変化より、前記圧力センサによって検出される圧力の単位時間当たりの変化が大きいとき圧力センサの故障と判定することを特徴とする蒸発燃料処理装置。 - 請求項1において、
燃料タンクとキャニスタとを連通させるベーパ通路に設けられ、ベーパ通路を開閉する開閉弁と、
該開閉弁の開度を検出する弁開度検出手段とを備え、
前記圧力センサ故障判定手段は、前記弁開度検出手段によって検出される前記開閉弁の開度の単位時間当たりの変化が第2所定値より小さく、且つ前記圧力センサによって検出される圧力の単位時間当たりの変化が、前記開閉弁の開度の単位時間当たりの変化が第2所定値のときにあり得る燃料タンクの圧力変化の最大値よりも大きい第3所定値以上のとき圧力センサの故障と判定することを特徴とする蒸発燃料処理装置。
