Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an automobile propulsion shaft.
A vehicle propulsion shaft that is mounted on a vehicle and extends in the front-rear direction connects a transmission mounted on the front of the vehicle and a final reduction gear mounted on the rear of the vehicle, and rotates by the power of the transmission. Power is transmitted to the final reduction gear.
By the way, in the automobile, in order to absorb the collision energy from the front, it is required that the body panel in the front portion of the vehicle including the engine room can be deformed by moving the prime mover and the transmission backward.
And in order to reverse | retreat a motor | power_engine and a transmission, in the propulsion shaft for motor vehicles, when receiving the load by the collision from the front, shortening is calculated | required.
One such automotive propulsion shaft that can be shortened includes two tubular bodies having different diameters (hereinafter, the larger diameter may be referred to as an “outer tube” and the smaller diameter may be referred to as an “inner tube”). And an elastic body that is interposed between the outer tube and the inner tube and connects the outer tube and the inner tube. And the pipe body arrange | positioned at the front side receives the load by the collision from the front, moves back, and it is comprised so that the propulsion shaft for motor vehicles may shorten.
On the other hand, in the above-described shortenable automobile propulsion shaft, when one of the two tubular bodies rotates, the elastic body that holds the tubular body slides, and rotational movement is caused to the other of the two tubular bodies. May not be transmitted, or the torque of the rotational motion may be impaired and transmitted.
In order to solve such a problem, the following patent document has the following configuration.
In
In Patent Document 2, a rib is protruded from the inner peripheral surface of the outer tube made of an aluminum alloy in the radial direction by extrusion, and the rib is fitted into a recess formed on the outer peripheral surface of the elastic body. Yes. The inner peripheral surface of the elastic body is bonded to the inner tube with an adhesive.
In
Here, although the load (torque) of the rotational motion of the automobile propulsion shaft is relatively large, the load required for shortening the automobile propulsion shaft due to a collision is relatively small.
For this reason, when the strength of the adhesive is set to withstand the load (torque) of the rotational motion of the automobile propulsion shaft as in the technique of
Moreover, according to the technique of Patent Document 2, the material of the outer tube is limited to the aluminum alloy, and there is a disadvantage that the material of the object to be joined to the outer tube is also limited.
Furthermore, according to the technique of
Moreover, according to the technique of
The present invention was created to solve such problems, and can be shortened even with a relatively small load. The outer tube and the inner tube are not limited to the aluminum material, and the assembly work is performed. An object of the present invention is to provide a propulsion shaft for an automobile that has good performance and can reliably transmit rotational motion even when an elastic body deteriorates.
In order to solve the above problems, an automobile propulsion shaft according to the present invention includes an outer tube, an inner tube having one end accommodated inside the outer tube, and an elastic body interposed between the outer tube and the inner tube. And the elastic body is fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the inner tube and the annular outer elastic member fixed to the inner peripheral surface of the outer tube. An annular inner elastic body fitted into the outer elastic body, and a plurality of first projecting portions protruding radially inward are formed on an inner peripheral surface of the outer elastic body, A plurality of second projecting portions projecting radially outward are formed on the outer peripheral surface of the elastic body, and by the fitting, the first projecting portions and the second projecting portions are alternately arranged in the circumferential direction, The first protrusion and the second protrusion are in a state of being crushed in the radial direction and / or the circumferential direction. And features.
According to the automobile propulsion shaft according to the invention, the outer elastic body is fixed to the outer tube, and the inner elastic body is fixed to the inner tube. When the outer elastic body rotates, the first protruding portion of the outer elastic body moves in the circumferential direction and presses the second protruding portion in the circumferential direction, so that the inner elastic body rotates.
From the above, the outer tube, the outer elastic body, the inner elastic body, and the inner tube are restrained from sliding with each other during the rotational movement of the automobile propulsion shaft, and the rotational movement torque can be reliably lost. Communicated.
In addition, since the above-described configuration is not configured to suppress sliding by pressing the elastic body as described in the related art, even if the elastic body is deteriorated, there is a risk that the torque of the rotational motion is impaired. Absent.
On the other hand, when a longitudinal load acts on the outer tube, the outer tube slides while the first protrusion of the outer elastic body is guided by the second protrusion of the inner elastic body, and the vehicle propulsion shaft is shortened. .
Moreover, since the 1st protrusion part and the 2nd protrusion part are in the state crushed in the radial direction or / and the circumferential direction, the outer side
Further, according to the above-described configuration, the first projecting portion and the second projecting portion adjust the crimping force between the outer elastic body and the inner elastic body by adjusting the squeezing amount in the radial direction and / or the circumferential direction. The load when the outer tube or the inner tube slides can be set.
For this reason, the crushing amount is adjusted so that the outer tube or the inner tube can slide with a relatively weak load at the time of collision. The outer tube or the inner tube can be set not to slide.
Moreover, according to the said invention, since an outer tube and an inner tube are not limited to an aluminum material, the disadvantage that the material of the object joined is also limited can be avoided.
Furthermore, since each of the outer elastic body and the inner elastic body is fixed to the outer tube and the inner tube, when inserting and fitting the inner elastic body into the outer elastic body, the outer elastic body and the inner elastic body Can be assembled without being displaced, and the assembling work can be facilitated.
In addition, it is preferable that an end portion of the inner elastic body is provided with a contact portion that extends radially outward and contacts the end surface of the outer elastic body and the end surface of the outer tube.
According to the above configuration, the outer tube breaks the contact portion due to the collision, so that the inner tube enters the outer tube and the automobile propulsion shaft is shortened.
For this reason, by changing the shape of the contact portion, such as by increasing or decreasing the thickness of the contact portion, the breaking load when the outer tube breaks the contact portion can be changed. Can be easily set.
Further, when the abutting portion is not provided, the load when the automobile propulsion shaft is shortened may vary depending on the compression amount, the fitting length, and the frictional force of the first protrusion and the second protrusion. However, the load when the automobile propulsion shaft is shortened can be arbitrarily set and stabilized by providing the contact portion.
Further, when the inner elastic body is inserted into the outer elastic body during assembly, positioning is facilitated because the abutting portion comes into contact with the end surface of the outer elastic body and the end surface of the outer tube.
Moreover, since the contact portion covers the boundary between the outer elastic body and the inner elastic body, it is possible to prevent muddy water from entering between the outer elastic body and the inner elastic body.
Furthermore, even if the contact portion is provided on the inner elastic body, there is no work required for the assembly, and the workability of the assembly is good.
Further, it is preferable that an end portion of the outer elastic body is provided with a contact portion that extends radially inward and contacts the end surface of the inner elastic body and the end surface of the inner tube.
According to the above configuration, the inner tube breaks the contact portion due to the collision, so that the inner tube enters the outer tube, and the automobile propulsion shaft is shortened.
For this reason, by changing the shape of the contact portion, such as by increasing or decreasing the thickness of the contact portion, the breaking load when the outer tube breaks the contact portion can be changed. Can be easily set.
Moreover, when the contact part is not provided, the load when the automobile propulsion shaft is shortened may vary depending on the compression amount, the fitting length, and the frictional force of the first protrusion and the second protrusion. However, the load when the automobile propulsion shaft is shortened can be arbitrarily set and stabilized by providing the contact portion.
Further, when the inner elastic body is inserted into the outer elastic body at the time of assembly, positioning is easy because the contact portion comes into contact with the end surface of the inner elastic body and the end surface of the inner tube.
Therefore, positioning becomes easy.
Furthermore, even if the contact portion is provided on the outer elastic body, there is no work required for the assembly, and the workability of the assembly is good.

As described above, according to the

Moreover, according to the
Further, according to the
