Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a backlash diagnostic system for diagnosing backlash, a machine tool including the backlash diagnostic system, and a backlash diagnostic method executed in the backlash diagnostic system.
In a machine tool, a dimensional error may occur when machining a workpiece. Factors of dimensional error include changes in environmental temperature, thermal displacement accompanying driving of the machine tool, backlash of the power transmission mechanism, tool wear, and the like. For this reason, when the main factor of the dimensional error of the workpiece is backlash, it is difficult for the operator to specify that the main factor is backlash among many factors. Even if it can be specified that the main cause of dimensional error is backlash, it is difficult for the operator to set an appropriate correction amount for backlash.
However, the backlash measured by the machine tool of
In the measurement correction method of
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a backlash diagnostic system, a machine tool, and a backlash diagnostic method that can extract backlash.
(1) In order to solve the above-described problem, a backlash diagnostic system of the present invention includes a touch sensor having a detection unit capable of detecting contact, a tool table movable in a predetermined movement direction with respect to the detection unit, A measuring jig attached to a tool table and having a pair of contact portions arranged apart from each other in the movement direction, and a pair of the contact portions arranged on both sides of the detection portion in the movement direction. Control that calculates backlash in the moving direction by moving the jig backward in the moving direction and bringing it into contact with one of the contact parts, and moving the measuring jig forward in the moving direction and making contact with the other contacting part. And a device. Here, “backlash” refers to play or play that exists in the power transmission mechanism, for example, between the shaft and nut of the ball screw mechanism or between the gears that mesh with each other of the speed reduction mechanism.
The control device of the backlash diagnostic system of the present invention executes a backlash diagnostic method. The backlash diagnostic method includes a setting process, a reverse process, and a forward process. In the setting process, the control device arranges the detection unit between the pair of contact units.
In the reverse step, the control device causes the measurement jig, that is, the pair of contact portions, to move backward relative to the detection portion. And one contact part is made to contact a detection part. The backlash which a contact part has by this contact is consumed. In other words, the backlash is offset in one direction. The amount of shift at this time is the amount of backlash when the detection unit is arranged between the pair of contact portions. That is, the shift amount is not necessarily the total amount of backlash that the measuring jig has.
In the backward step, it is better to move the measurement jig backward at a very low speed (for example, 1 m / min or less) with respect to the detection unit. This makes it difficult for vibration to occur along the moving direction. In other words, the measurement jig is unlikely to rebound with respect to the detection unit. For this reason, it is possible to stably shift backlash.
In the advancement step, the control device advances the measurement jig, that is, the pair of contact portions, with respect to the detection portion. And the other contact part is made to contact a detection part. The backlash which a contact part has by this contact is consumed. In other words, the backlash is offset in the other direction. Here, in the reverse process of the previous process, the backlash has already been offset in one direction. For this reason, the amount of offset in this step corresponds to the total amount of backlash that the measuring jig has. Therefore, according to the backlash diagnosis system of the present invention, the backlash can be automatically diagnosed based on the contact data acquired in the reverse process and the contact data acquired in the forward process.
Further, the contact data acquired in the reverse process includes thermal displacement (for example, thermal displacement of a member to which the measurement jig is attached). Similarly, the contact data acquired in the forward process includes thermal displacement. However, the interval between the pair of contact portions is sufficiently short so that the detection portion can be sandwiched between the pair of contact portions and the pair of contact portions does not interfere with the detection portion. That is, the forward distance and the reverse distance required for measuring the backlash are sufficiently short. Therefore, in the backlash diagnostic system of the present invention, the influence of the thermal displacement of the power transmission mechanism that changes every moment on the measurement is negligible, and it is possible to accurately extract the backlash as a factor of the dimensional error in machining the workpiece. .
(2) In the configuration of (1), it is preferable that the moving direction is at least one of the Z-axis direction and the X-axis direction that intersect each other. According to this configuration, it is possible to extract at least one of the backlashes in the Z-axis direction (machine tool main shaft direction) and the X-axis direction.
(3) In the configuration of the above (2), the movement directions are the Z-axis direction and the X-axis direction, and the pair of contact portions that are disposed apart from each other in the Z-axis direction are paired with a pair of Z-axis. The measurement jig includes a pair of the Z-axis contact portions and a pair of the X-axis contacts. The contact portions are a pair of the contact portions that are spaced apart from each other in the X-axis direction. It is better to have an integrated jig body on which the part is arranged.
According to this configuration, backlash in the Z-axis direction and the X-axis direction can be extracted. In addition, the pair of Z-axis contact portions and the pair of X-axis contact portions are both disposed in an integrated jig body. For this reason, there is little possibility that the space | interval between a pair of Z-axis contact parts and the space | interval between a pair of X-axis contact parts change with time. In addition, the angle of intersection between the arrangement direction of the pair of Z-axis contact portions (Z-axis direction) and the arrangement direction of the pair of X-axis contact portions (X-axis direction) is less likely to change over time. The jig body is made of a single material. For this reason, the coefficient of thermal expansion of the jig body is constant. Therefore, it is difficult to be affected by the thermal displacement of the jig body.
(4) Moreover, in order to solve the said subject, the machine tool of this invention is provided with the backlash diagnostic system in any one of said (1) thru | or (3). According to the machine tool of the present invention, the backlash can be automatically diagnosed as described in (1) above. Further, backlash can be extracted as a factor of dimensional error in machining the workpiece.
(5) Moreover, in order to solve the said subject, the backlash diagnostic method of this invention is the touch sensor which has a detection part which can detect a contact, and the tool stand which can move to a predetermined movement direction with respect to this detection part. A backlash diagnostic method to be executed in a backlash diagnostic system, comprising: a measuring jig having a pair of contact portions attached to the tool table and spaced apart from each other in the moving direction, wherein the detection unit A step of arranging a pair of the contact portions on both sides of the moving direction, a backward step of moving the measuring jig backward in the moving direction and contacting one of the contacting portions, and the measuring jig And an advancing step of advancing in the moving direction and contacting the other contact portion.
According to the backlash diagnostic method of the present invention, backlash can be automatically diagnosed as described in (1) above. Further, backlash can be extracted as a factor of dimensional error in machining the workpiece.

In the reverse process, as shown in FIG. 6B, the
In the forward process, as shown in FIG. 6D, the
Pa=Pa(0)+ΔH ・・・式(1)
Pb=Pb(0)+ΔL+ΔH ・・・式(2)
ΔP=Pb−Pa=Pb(0)+ΔL−Pa(0) ・・・式(3)
Here, the difference between the Z-axis direction interval (design value) between the pair of Z-
Pa = Pa (0) + ΔH (1)
Further, the forward end position Pb is calculated from the following equation (2).
Pb = Pb (0) + ΔL + ΔH (2)
Therefore, the difference ΔP between the forward end position Pb and the reverse end position Pa is calculated from the following equation (3).
ΔP = Pb−Pa = Pb (0) + ΔL−Pa (0) (3)
Here, in Expression (3), Pb (0) −Pa (0) corresponds to the movement distance A.
ΔP=A+ΔL ・・・式(4)
Therefore, the difference ΔP is calculated from the following equation (4).
ΔP = A + ΔL (4)
The difference ΔP does not include the thermal displacement amount ΔH. As described above, the influence of the thermal displacement amount ΔH can be excluded from the data by causing the
[Flow of processing in backlash diagnosis method]
Next, the flow of processing in the backlash diagnostic method will be described. 7A to 7F are schematic diagrams of screens of the display device in the backlash diagnostic method. As described above, the backlash diagnostic method includes an initial measurement process and a diagnostic process.

ΔP(1)=A+ΔL(1) ・・・式(5)

The diagnosis process is executed every predetermined period after the operation of the

On the other hand, when executing the automatic diagnosis, the operator touches the
ΔP(2)=A+ΔL(2) ・・・式(6)
ΔL(1→2)=ΔL(2)−ΔL(1)=ΔP(2)−ΔP(1) ・・・式(7)

When the correction is not executed, the worker touches the
On the other hand, when the correction is executed, the worker touches the

<Effect>
Next, functions and effects of the backlash diagnostic system, CNC lathe, and backlash diagnostic method of this embodiment will be described. As shown in FIGS. 6A to 6E and formulas (1) to (4), according to the backlash
Further, the contact data acquired in the reverse process includes thermal displacement (for example, thermal displacement of a member to which the measurement jig is attached). Similarly, the contact data acquired in the forward process includes thermal displacement. However, the distance between the pair of contact parts of the
Further, according to the backlash
Further, according to the backlash
Further, according to the backlash
<その他>

The embodiments of the backlash diagnostic system, machine tool, and backlash diagnostic method of the present invention have been described above. However, the embodiment is not particularly limited to the above embodiment. Various modifications and improvements that can be made by those skilled in the art are also possible.

In FIG. 7E, a message (message regarding execution / prohibition of correction) as to whether or not to enable the correction amount of 10 μm is displayed on the
In FIG. 7E, the correction amount is 10 μm. That is, the backlash amount ΔL (2) (= backlash amount ΔL (1) + correction threshold value Lth + 10) before correction is changed to the backlash amount ΔL (2) (= backlash amount ΔL (1) + correction threshold value Lth). , Corrected. However, the backlash amount ΔL (2) (= backlash amount ΔL (1) + correction threshold Lth + 10) before correction may be corrected to the backlash amount ΔL (2) (= backlash amount ΔL (1) ). .
