Abstract
Description
そして、例えば特許文献1では、エンジンと同軸上に配置されたエンジン軸と、モータとジェネレータとが接続されるジェネレータ軸と、ドライブシャフトに差動装置を介して接続されるアイドラ軸とが互いに平行に配置されている。そして、ジェネレータ軸は、ジェネレータが接続される内周軸と、モータが接続される外周軸とが相対回転可能に一体で構成されている。そして、内周軸は、エンジンにより駆動される。また、エンジン軸には、アイドラ軸と差動装置とを介してドライブシャフトを駆動させるエンジンの動力の伝達を断接するクラッチが備えられている。
しかしながら、このようにエンジン軸に備わる各々の出力ギヤの間にクラッチを配設すると、クラッチの搭載スペースが小さくなるために、クラッチの設計の自由度が低下する。さらに、エンジン軸が軸方向に長くなり、トランスアクスル装置のエンジン軸方向の長さが長くなることで、例えば、エンジンの出力軸が車両の車幅方向に延伸するような車両では、トランスアクスル装置の車両幅方向の長さが長くなることで搭載性が悪化し好ましいことではない。
また、請求項3のトランスアクスル装置では、請求項1または2において、前記第2のギヤ組と前記第3のギヤ組は、前記第1の駆動軸に垂直な方向から見て、オーバーラップ配置されることを特徴とする。
また、請求項5のトランスアクスル装置では、請求項1から4のいずれか1項において、前記動力断接手段を作動させる作動機構を備え、前記作動機構は、少なくとも前記第2の電動機の外周に配設されることを特徴とする。
また、請求項3のトランスアクスル装置では、第2のギヤ組と第3のギヤ組とを第1の駆動軸に垂直な方向から見て、オーバーラップ配置しており、第1の駆動軸の軸方向の長さを短縮でき、第1の駆動軸の軸方向のトランスアクスル装置の長さを短縮できる。
[第1実施例]
図1は、本発明の第1実施例に係るトランスアクスル装置の概略構成図である。図2は、本発明の第1実施例に係るトランスアクスル装置の模式図である。そして、図3は、本発明の第1実施例に係るトランスアクスル装置におけるギヤの噛み合い状態を示す説明図である。なお、図1から図3中の前は、車両の前方向を、横は、車両の幅方向を、上は、車両の上方向をそれぞれ示している。即ち、図1及び図2の右側が車両の右方向であり、左側が車両の左方向である。そして、図3は、トランスアクスル装置の側方から見た図である。また、図2中の破線は、後述する第1のファイナルギヤ22と第3のファイナルギヤ32とが噛み合っていることを示している。
図1から図3に示すように、本第1実施例に係る車両では、エンジン2と電動モータ3は、トランスアクスル装置1を挟んで車両の左右方向に離間して配置されている。また、電動モータ3の車両左方には、発電機(第1の電動機)5が隣接して備えられている。なお、エンジン2、電動モータ3、トランスアクスル装置1及び発電機5は、車両のパワープラントを構成し、車体に一体的に支持されている。
エンジン軸11は、エンジン軸11の車両右方端部に、ドライブプレート10が接続されている。そして、エンジン軸11は、一対のベアリング17にて回転可能に支持されている。
発電機軸13は、モータ軸12の内部にモータ軸12の同軸上であって、モータ軸12と相対回転可能に配置されている。発電機軸13は、モータ軸12よりも長く形成され、両端部が夫々モータ軸12よりも外方に突出している。そして、発電機軸13は、両端部と中央部を複数個(本実施例では3個)のベアリング19,20にて回転可能に支持されている。モータ軸12及び発電機軸13は、夫々車両左方端部がトランスアクスル装置1から突出しており、モータ軸12の車両左方端部近傍が電動モータ3に接続され、発電機軸13の車両左方端部近傍が発電機5に接続されている。
クラッチ軸15は、クラッチ軸15の車両右方端部近傍に設けられた第1のファイナルギヤ22を介して差動装置21に動力を伝達可能に構成されている。そして、クラッチ軸15は、クラッチ軸15とモータ軸12の軸間距離D1がモータ軸12の軸中心から電動モータ3の最外周までの距離Dmよりも長くなる位置に配置されている。なお、クラッチ軸15は、一対のベアリング23にて回転可能に支持されている。
エンジン軸11には、車両右方(エンジン2側)から順番に、第1の固定ギヤ26及び第2の固定ギヤ27が配置されている。そして、第1の固定ギヤ26と第2の固定ギヤ27は、エンジン軸11に固定され、エンジン軸11の回転に伴って回転する。
発電機軸13の車両右方端部近傍には、第4の固定ギヤ29が備えられている。第4の固定ギヤ29は、発電機軸13に固定されており、発電機軸13と共に回転する構成になっている。そして、第4の固定ギヤ29は、第1の固定ギヤ26と噛み合うように、エンジン軸11の軸方向で一致するように配置されている。なお、第1の固定ギヤ26と第4の固定ギヤ29は、第1のギヤ組30を構成している。即ちエンジン軸11と発電機軸13とは、2つのギヤ26、29からなり噛み合い数が1つである第1のギヤ組30を介して常に動力伝達可能に構成されている。
第1のファイナルギヤ22は、クラッチ軸15に固定されており、クラッチ軸15と共に回転する構成になっている。そして、第1のファイナルギヤ22は、差動装置21に備わる第3のファイナルギヤ32と噛み合うようにエンジン軸11の軸方向に一致するように配置されている。
ピストン36は、電動モータ3の外周部に、エンジン軸11の軸方向で電動モータ3にオーバーラップするように配置されている。そして、ピストン36は、油圧にて湿式多板クラッチ14の作動を制御するものである。
第2のファイナルギヤ24は、差動装置21に備わる第3のファイナルギヤ32と噛み合うようにエンジン軸11の軸方向に一致するように配置されている。
よって、車両への搭載性を向上させることができる。
また、第2のギヤ組35と第3のギヤ組33とを、エンジン軸11の軸方向にオーバーラップしないように配置していることで、第2のギヤ組35と第3のギヤ組33とが干渉することがないので、それぞれのギヤ組のギヤ比の設定範囲を大きくすることができる。
[第2実施例]
以下、本発明の第2実施例に係るトランスアクスル装置について説明する。
エンジン軸11には、車両右方(エンジン2側)から順番に、第1の固定ギヤ26及び第2の固定ギヤ27が配置されている。そして、第1の固定ギヤ26と第2の固定ギヤ27は、エンジン軸11に固定され、エンジン軸11の回転に伴って回転する。
第1のファイナルギヤ22は、クラッチ軸15に固定されており、クラッチ軸15と共に回転する構成になっている。そして、第1のファイナルギヤ22は、差動装置21に備わる第3のファイナルギヤ32と噛み合うようにエンジン軸11の軸方向に一致するように配置されている。
また、アクチュエータ36’は、電動モータ3の外周部に、エンジン軸11の軸方向で電動モータ3にオーバーラップするように配置されている。そして、アクチュエータ36’は、シンクロナイザ14’の作動を制御するものである。
また、エンジン軸11よりアイドラギヤ31に入力される動力のクラッチ軸15への伝達の断接をシンクロナイザ14’で行うことにより、例えば、第1実施例の湿式多板クラッチ14では、クラッチ板間に油が介在することにより摺動抵抗が発生するが、シンクロナイザ14’では、油の介在による摺動抵抗が発生しないので、電動モータ3のみでの走行時に、フリクションを低減し、車両に搭載されるバッテリの電力消費を低減することができる。さらに、エンジン2の駆動力をドライブシャフト4に伝達するエンジン直結モード或いはパラレル走行モードの際には、第1実施例では、湿式多板クラッチ14をアイドラギヤ31に押し付ける力が必要となるが、シンクロナイザ14’を用いることにより湿式多板クラッチ14を押し付ける力が不要となるため車両全体のエネルギ効率が向上する。また、シンクロナイザ14’を用いることで、第3のギヤ組33とクラッチ軸15との接続を滑らかに行うことができるとともに、コンパクトに構成することもできる。
上記第1実施例では、エンジン軸11よりアイドラギヤ31に入力される動力のクラッチ軸15への伝達の断接を湿式多板クラッチ14としているが、これに限定されるものではなく、第2実施例で用いられているシンクロナイザ14’やドグクラッチも用いてもよく、第2実施例と同様に、油の介在による摺動抵抗が発生しないので、電動モータ3のみでの走行時に、フリクションを低減し、車両に搭載されるバッテリの電力消費を低減することができる。

- 車両に搭載されたエンジンの駆動軸と同軸上に配置され、前記駆動軸に接続される第1の駆動軸と、
前記第1の駆動軸と平行に配置され、前記車両の走行駆動軸に差動装置を介して動力を伝達する第1の出力軸と、
前記第1の出力軸と平行に配置され、前記走行駆動軸に前記差動装置を介して動力を伝達する第2の出力軸と、
前記第1の出力軸と平行に配置され、内軸と該内軸を相対回転可能なように内包する外軸とで構成される第2の駆動軸と、
前記内軸と同一軸上に配置され、前記内軸に接続される第1の電動機と、
前記外軸と同一軸上に配置され、前記外軸に接続される第2の電動機と、
複数のギヤを噛み合わせて構成され前記第1の駆動軸と前記内軸との間で動力を伝達する第1のギヤ組と、
複数のギヤを噛み合わせて構成され前記外軸と前記第1の出力軸との間で動力を伝達する第2のギヤ組と、
複数のギヤを噛み合わせて構成され前記第1の駆動軸と前記第2の出力軸との間で動力を伝達する第3のギヤ組と、
前記第2の出力軸に設けられ、前記第1の駆動軸より伝達される動力を断接する動力断接手段と、を備え、
前記第2の駆動軸と前記第2の出力軸との軸間距離は、前記第2の電動機の軸中心から該第2の電動機の最外周までの距離よりも長く設定されることを特徴とするトランスアクスル装置。 - 前記動力断接手段は、前記第2の出力軸の前記第3のギヤ組よりも前記第2の電動機側に設けられ、
前記動力断接手段と前記第2の電動機は、前記第2の出力軸に垂直な方向から見てオーバーラップ配置されることを特徴とする、請求項1のトランスアクスル装置。 - 前記第2のギヤ組と前記第3のギヤ組は、前記第1の駆動軸に垂直な方向から見て、オーバーラップ配置されることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載のトランスアクスル装置。
- 前記動力断接手段は、同期噛み合い装置であることを特徴とする、請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載のトランスアクスル装置。
- 前記動力断接手段を作動させる作動機構を備え、
前記作動機構は、少なくとも前記第2の電動機の外周に配設されることを特徴とする、請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載のトランスアクスル装置。
