Abstract
【解決手段】WTRUからWLANにアプリケーション能力レポートを送信し、WLANからセルラーネットワークにレポートを伝送し、レポートをセルラーネットワーク内に格納し、セルラーネットワークによるレポートの受信の確認をWTRUに対して行い、セルラーネットワーク内の格納されたレポートを調べて、記サービスを配信しようと試みるのに先立ってWLANモードで動作している場合、WTRUがサービスをサポートするかどうか決定する。

図3で括弧内に示す、ネットワークによって要請される能力動作を実行することに関わる好ましいステップは、以下のとおり要約することができる。すなわち、
1.SMSメッセージが、SC24から送信される。
2.GMSC26が、WTRU12位置についてHSS18にクエリを行う。
3.HSS18が、PDG/WAG28アドレスを戻す。
4.GMSC26が、SMSをPDG/WAG28に転送する。
5.PDG/WAG28が、SMS能力について、WLAN22を介してWTRU12にクエリを行う。
6.WTRU12が、すべてのサービス能力をリストアップし、PDG/WAG28に報告する。
ップS7Aで、サービスを拒否する。
Claims (3)
- 無線送信/受信ユニット(WTRU)であって、
無線ローカルエリアネットワーク(WLAN)アクセスゲートウェイを介してサービスセンタからサービス能力に関する要求を受信するように構成された受信機と、
セルラーネットワークと対話することが可能な少なくとも1つのWLANアプリケーションを有するアプリケーションモジュールと、
前記WTRUのオペレーティングシステム又は前記WTRUのアプリケーションモジュールに情報のクエリーを行い、前記WTRUによってサポートされているアプリケーション又はサービスのリストを生成するように構成され、前記クエリーの応答において得た情報に基づいて、無線ローカルエリアネットワーク(WLAN)能力レポートを含む登録メッセージを生成するように構成された登録メッセージ作成器と、
前記登録メッセージを前記WLANアクセスゲートウェイに送信するように構成された送信機と、
前記登録メッセージに応答して、当該WLANを介して前記サービスセンタから、サービスを受信するように構成された前記受信機と
を具えた、ことを特徴とするWTRU。 - 前記送信機は、前記セルラーネットワークへの登録の間に、前記登録メッセージを送信するように構成された、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のWTRU。
- 前記登録メッセージは、前記WTRUが、802.11a技術,802.11b技術,802.11c技術,802.11g技術,又は802.11h技術を用いて通信を行うように構成されたことを示す、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のWTRU。
