前記半導体発光素子から発光された第1光によって励起された時、前記蛍光体が、主波長を有する第2光を発光し、前記第2光の前記主波長が、前記第1光の主波長と異なる発光装置。 - 455nmの波長を有する前記第1光により励起された時、前記第2光の前記主波長が、580〜680nmであり、CIE1931色度図に基づく前記光の色座標(x、y)が、0.45≦x≦0.72および0.2≦y≦0.5である請求項9に記載の発光装置。
- 前記半導体発光素子から発光された前記第1光が、300〜550nmの波長を有する請求項9〜10のいずれか1項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記蛍光体が、10〜200ppmのモリブデンを含有する請求項9〜11のいずれか1項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記蛍光体中のモリブデンの原材料が、含酸素モリブデン化合物、含窒素モリブデン化合物および純金属モリブデンからなる群から選択される少なくとも1つ以上の種類である請求項9〜12のいずれか1項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記含酸素モリブデン化合物が、MoO2またはMoO3を含む請求項13に記載の発光装置。
- 0.05≦p≦0.9および0.1≦q≦0.95である請求項9〜14のいずれか1項に記載の発光装置。
- 0.15≦(p+q)<1である請求項15に記載の発光装置。
- フッ素、ボロン、塩素および炭素のうちの少なくとも1つの元素をさらに含み、前記各元素の含有量が、1000ppm以下である請求項9〜16のいずれか1項に記載の発光装置。
