Abstract
【解決手段】液晶表示装置は、液晶表示パネル10及びバックライト20を支持するフレーム40と、フレーム40と筺体54との間の金属ブロック56と、を有する。バックライト20は、上面方向に光を出射する表面実装型の発光部品24と、発光部品24を搭載する配線基板26と、液晶表示パネル10に重なる導光板22と、を含む。フレーム40は、導光板22を支持する第1部分42と、導光板22の端面に間隔をあけて対向する第2部分44と、液晶表示パネル10を支持する第3部分46と、を一体的に含む。配線基板26は、発光部品24からの光が導光板22の端面に入射するように第2部分44に貼り付けられる。金属ブロック56は、フレーム40の第2部分44の配線基板26が貼りつけられた面とは反対側の面及び筺体54に固定されている。

Claims (6)
- 液晶表示パネルと、
前記液晶表示パネルの面光源として使用されるサイドライト方式のバックライトと、
前記液晶表示パネル及び前記バックライトを支持するフレームと、
筺体と、
前記フレームと前記筺体との間に介在する金属ブロックと、
を有し、
前記バックライトは、上面方向に光を出射する表面実装型の発光部品と、前記発光部品を搭載する配線基板と、前記液晶表示パネルに重なるように配置された導光板と、を含み、
前記フレームは、前記導光板を支持する第1部分と、前記導光板の端面に間隔をあけて対向する第2部分と、前記液晶表示パネルを支持する第3部分と、を一体的に含み、
前記配線基板は、前記発光部品からの前記光が前記導光板の前記端面に入射するように、前記第2部分に貼り付けられ、
前記金属ブロックは、前記フレームの前記第2部分の前記配線基板が貼りつけられた面とは反対側の面及び前記筺体に固定されていることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載された液晶表示装置において、
前記フレームは、均一な厚みの金属板が折り曲げられて形成されていることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項2に記載された液晶表示装置において、
前記フレームは、前記導光板を支持する前記第1部分から、前記導光板との対向方向に前記導光板から離れる方向に延び、屈曲して前記導光板の前記端面が向く方向に延び、前記第2部分に至るように屈曲することを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載された液晶表示装置において、
前記金属ブロックは、前記フレームの前記第2部分に接触していることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載された液晶表示装置において、
前記金属ブロックは、前記筺体に接触していることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載された液晶表示装置において、
前記フレームは、前記液晶表示パネルの背面を支持し、
前記液晶表示パネルの前面を支持する外フレームをさらに有し、
前記外フレームの一部が、前記金属ブロックと前記筺体の間に挟まれていることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
