Abstract
Description
多孔質フィルムは、微***加工されたフィルムを含め、よく知られており、かつ多様な使用及び製造方法は、これらの材料のために見出されている。記載された使用は、電池セパレータ、フィルター、通気性のフレキシブルな包装、創傷被覆材の成分及び化粧張り(Bekleidung)の際に使用するための通気性の膜を包含する。製造方法は、例えば"A review on the separators of liquid electrolyte Li-ion batteries", Journal of Power Sources, 164, (2007), 351-64に評価されているものを包含する。これらの方法は、いわゆる乾式法及び湿式法、転相及び熱により誘導された液−液相分離を包含する。この評価には、例えば、穴加工されたポリマーフィルムを含め、膜も、記載されており、これらは、電池セパレータとして使用するために製造され、その後のコーティングプロセスにおいて、それらの性質を例えば湿潤性又はセパレータと電極との間の界面接触に関して変性及び改善するために変性されることができる。
1.非接触法である − 薄手又は超薄手のフィルムが穴加工され、その際に例えばニードルパンチのような接触プロセスが、フィルムの裂けるリスクを必然的に伴う場合には、特別な利点である。
2.穴加工すべき領域上に極めて高いエネルギーを放出することが可能であり、このことは極めて短い穴加工時間を可能にする。
3.再現性があり、制御可能なホール寸法の達成を可能にする。
4.レーザー光線をフィルムの表面上の特別なドットに向けることを可能にするために、適した光学系を使用することにより、フィルム内部で規則的で再現性のある2次元のホールパターンを達成することが可能である。
本発明は、その後のプロセス、例えばコーティングプロセス又は含浸プロセスにかけるために十分な安定性を有する、薄手の穴加工されたフィルムの製造及び性質に関する。
ホール面積=(面積ホール/面積フィルム)×100%。
本発明によるフィルムは、20μm未満、好ましくは15μmまで、より好ましくは12μmまで、さらにより好ましくは10μm又はそれ未満、及び最も好ましくは5μm又はそれ未満の厚さを有して製造されることができる、任意のタイプのフィルムを有していてよい。本発明によるフィルムの厚さの好ましい下限は約1μmである。
a)穴加工されたフィルムが、多孔質媒体よりもより低い融点を有し、
かつこの融点が最高でも250℃であるか、
又は
b)多孔質媒体が、穴加工されたポリマーフィルムよりも低い融点を有し、
かつこの融点が最高でも250℃である
場合が有利でありうる。
1.ヘッド分解度の変更及び/又は複雑なヘッドドライバエレクトロニクス及びヘッドドライバソフトウェアの提供を必要とするかもしれない他のレーザープロセスとは異なり、パーフォレーションのサイズ及び位置を印刷パターンの変更により変えることが極めて容易である。
2.NIR吸収剤の使用は最小限になる。このことは重要な考量である、それというのも、多くの吸収剤はより高価であり、かつ穴加工されたフィルムの製造のための原料の全コストに有意に寄与するからである。
3.高い透明度及び僅かな着色を有する穴加工されたフィルムを、濃く着色された及び不透明な吸収インキが使用される場合でさえ、製造することが可能である。この手順により、各々残りのインキは、パーフォレーションの縁部に限定されず、そこでは溶融した材料が穴加工後に凝固し、その結果、本発明による穴加工されたフィルムの外観に最小の影響を及ぼす。
6μmの呼び厚さを有するポリエチレンテレフタラート(PET)フィルムを、名称Pacific Black(登録商標)(Antonine Printing Inks Ltd.から入手可能)で販売されている炭素顔料を含有する水ベースのインキでコーティングし、光を近赤外で吸収することができ、乾燥質量1.0g/m2を有するコーティングを得た。コーティングされたフィルムの厚さは約7μmであった。
例2.2〜2.4.
一連の穴加工されたフィルムを、以下の第2表中の詳細に従って製造し、その際に穴加工された面積は約10cm×10cmであった。PETポリマーを有するフィルムは、Mylar C (DuPont Teijin Films)であった。平均ホール直径及び中実の断面積は、穴加工されたフィルムのSEM像から得られた。比較例2.1及び例2.2における引張強さを、ASTM D882の方法に基づく直接測定により、50mm/minの伸び速度で操作した引張強さ試験機(Zwick Z2.5/TN1S)の使用下に、幅20mm及び締付長さ40mm(試験体長さ100mm)を有するフィルムの試料の使用下に固定点間で測定した。
200μmの厚さを有し、例えばAldiで商業的に入手可能な、金属箔をベースとする穴加工されたフィルムを製造し、その際に穴加工された面積は約10cm×10cmであった。平均ホール直径は、約10%のホール割合で200μmであった。引張強さを、比較例2.1及び例2.2のように測定した。
本発明によるフィルムは、31N/cmの引張強さを有し、かつこれらの性質を有して極めて良好に巻き取り及びコーティングされることができ、問題又は目を引くことは観察されることができなかった。
Claims (28)
- 20μm未満の厚さ、2N/cm〜40N/cmの引張強さ及び10〜90%のホール面積を有する、穴加工されたフィルム。
- 15μmまでの厚さを有する、請求項1記載のフィルム。
- 穴加工されていない同等のフィルムの質量の40〜100%の質量を有する、請求項1から2までのいずれか1項記載のフィルム。
- 50〜250μmの範囲内の平均直径を有するパーフォレーションホールを有する、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載のフィルム。
- 近赤外で吸収する材料が印刷された面でのみ、穴加工されている、請求項4記載のフィルム。
- フィルムが、レーザー光線の入力により穴加工されている、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載のフィルム。
- 各々が盛り上がった縁部を周囲に有するパーフォレーションを有し、前記縁部はフィルムの穴加工されていない領域よりも大きな厚さを有する、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項記載のフィルム。
- 近赤外で吸収する材料が、パーフォレーションの盛り上がった縁部中に存在しているが、しかしパーフォレーション間の領域中に存在していない、請求項7記載のフィルム。
- PE、PP、ポリエチレンテレフタラート(PET)、ポリエチレンナフテナート(PEN)、ポリ乳酸(PLA)、PAN、PA、PMMA、PI、Arの群から選択される熱可塑性ポリマーフィルムであるか、又は金属箔である、請求項1から8までのいずれか1項記載のフィルム。
- ポリエステルフィルム又はポリアミド、好ましくはポリアミド6,6、ポリアミド12、又はポリアミド6から選択される、請求項9記載のフィルム。
- 材料がSi、Al、Cu、Feから選択されている、請求項9記載のフィルム。
- パーフォレーションホールが本質的に円形である、請求項1から11までのいずれか1項記載のフィルム。
- セラミックコーティングが施与されている、請求項1から12までのいずれか1項記載のフィルム。
- セラミック材料又は非セラミック材料に含浸されたものである、請求項1から13までのいずれか1項記載のフィルム。
- 定義された雰囲気用の包装材料、電気化学的な膜又はろ材としての、請求項1から14までのいずれか1項記載のフィルムの使用。
- フィルムが、選択的にセラミック材料又は非セラミック材料でコーティング又は含浸されている、電池セパレータとしての、請求項1から14までのいずれか1項記載のフィルムの使用。
- 請求項1から14までのいずれか1項記載の穴加工されたフィルムと、フィルムが積層されている多孔質媒体とを有する積層品であって、積層品が2〜50N/cmの引張強さを有する、積層品。
- 穴加工されたフィルムが、20μm未満の厚さ及び10〜85%のホール面積を有する、請求項17記載の積層品。
- 多孔質媒体が不織布である、請求項17又は18記載の積層品。
- 多孔質媒体が除去可能である、請求項17から19までのいずれか1項記載の積層品。
- 穴加工されたフィルムが、熱可塑性ポリマーを有するか又は熱可塑性ポリマーからなる、請求項17から20までのいずれか1項記載の積層品。
- 前記ポリマーが、ポリエステル、ポリエチレンテレフタラート、ポリエチレンナフテナート、又はポリアミド、好ましくはポリアミド6,6、ポリアミド12、又はポリアミド6から選択されている、請求項21記載の積層品。
- a)穴加工されたフィルムが、多孔質媒体よりも低い融点を有し、
かつこの融点が最高でも250℃であるか、
又は
b)多孔質媒体が、穴加工されたポリマーフィルムよりも低い融点を有し、
かつこの融点が最高でも250℃である、請求項17から22までのいずれか1項記載の積層品。 - 積層品が、セラミック材料又は非セラミック材料でコーティング又は含浸されている、請求項17から23までのいずれか1項記載の積層品。
- 穴加工されたフィルムが、セラミック材料又は非セラミック材料でコーティング又は含浸されたものである、電池セパレータとしての請求項17から24までのいずれか1項記載の積層品の使用。
- 請求項1から14までのいずれか1項記載の穴加工されたフィルム又は請求項17から24までのいずれか1項記載の積層品を有する電池セパレータを備えた電池。
- 穴加工されたフィルムが、セラミック材料又は非セラミック材料でコーティング又は含浸されている、請求項26記載の電池。
- 積層品が、セラミック材料又は非セラミック材料でコーティング又は含浸されている、請求項26記載の電池。
