Abstract
Description
本発明はセルロースファイバーを処理することによるミクロフィブリル化セルロースの製造方法に関する。
セルロースファイバーはセルロースポリマー、すなわちセルロース鎖から形成されている多成分構造体である。当技術で知られているリグニン、ペントサンおよびその他の成分がまた、存在することがある。ファイバー中のセルロース鎖は相互に付着し、基本フィブリルを形成する。数個の基本フィブリルは相互に結合し、ミクロフィブリルを形成し、数個のミクロフィブリルは凝集体を形成する。セルロース鎖、基本フィブリルおよびミクロフィブリル間の結合は水素結合である。
本発明の目的は改善されており、またエネルギー効率の良い様相でミクロフィブリル化セルロースを製造する方法を提供することにある。
本発明は改善されており、およびエネルギー効率の良い様相でミクロフィブリル化セルロースを製造する方法に関する。さらにまた、本発明は高いコンシステンシイを有するMFCの製造を可能にする。
Claims (10)
- セルロースファイバーを処理する方法であって、
−ファイバーを第一酵素処理において酵素で予備処理すること、
−ファイバーを第一機械的処理において機械的に予備処理すること、
−ファイバーを第二酵素処理において酵素で処理すること、次いで、
−ファイバーを第二機械的処理において機械的に処理し、ミクロフィブリル化セルロースを生成すること、
を含む方法。 - 第一酵素処理期間中の酵素が0.01〜250nkat/g、さらに好ましくは0.5〜50nkat/gの活性を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 第二酵素処理期間中の酵素が50〜300nkat/gの活性を有することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- ファイバーを細断または精製によって機械的に処理することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の方法。
- ファイバーを総重量で15〜40%のコンシステンシイで機械的に処理することを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の方法。
- ファイバーを第一機械的処理工程において総重量で15〜40%のコンシステンシイで機械的に予備処理することを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の方法。
- ファイバーを第二機械的処理工程において総重量で15〜40%のコンシステンシイで機械的に処理することを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の方法。
- pHが第一および/または第二機械的工程中、9以上であることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 第一および/または第二酵素処理期間中に使用される酵素がヘミセルロースに作用する酵素、例えばキシラナーゼまたはマンナナーゼ、あるいはセルロースに作用する酵素、例えばセルラーゼであることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の方法。
- ファイバーがクラフトパルプのファイバーであることを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の方法。
