Abstract
Description

(A)紙ベースの基板;及び
(B)該基板の少なくとも1つの表面上に配置された断熱層であって、
ボイド構造を含み且つ組成物の総重量を基礎として以下のものを備える流体断熱組成物から生成された断熱層を含む:
(a)20%〜70%重量の量の充填剤;
(b)15%〜70%重量の量の有機結合剤;
(c)0.5%〜10%重量の量の可塑剤;及び
(d)10%〜15%重量の量の水分。
(i)0%〜90%重量の量の無機充填剤;及び
(ii)10%〜100%重量の量の有機充填剤。
(i)40%〜90%重量の量の無機充填剤;及び
(ii)10%〜60%重量の量の有機充填剤。
(i)第1及び第2表面を有する紙ベースの基板を提供するステップ;
(ii)コートされた構造を提供するために紙ベースの基板の第1表面上に断熱層を付加するステップであって、該断熱層はボイド構造を含み前述の流体断熱組成物から生成されるステップ;及び
(iii)断熱層の水含有量を、断熱層の総重量を基に、10%〜15%に減少するためにコートされた構造を乾燥するステップ。
(A)第1及び第2表面を有する紙ベースの基板
(B)紙ベースのトップ層;及び
(C)紙ベースの基板の第1表面及び紙ベースのトップ層の間に配置された断熱層であって、ボイド構造を含み、且つ上述の断熱組成物から生成される断熱層。

Claims (41)
- 断熱包装材料であって、
(A)第1表面及び第2表面を含む紙ベースの基板;及び
(B)該基板の第1表面上に配置された断熱層であって、該断熱層はボイド構造を含み且つ組成物の総重量を基礎として以下のものを含む流体断熱組成物から生成される断熱層:
(a)20%〜70%重量の量の充填剤;
(b)15%〜70%重量の量の有機結合剤;
(c)0.5%〜10%重量の量の可塑剤;及び
(d)10%〜15%重量の量の水分
を含むことを特徴とする材料。 - さらに、紙ベースのトップ層を備え、前記断熱層が、前記紙ベースの基板の前記第1表面及び前記紙ベースのトップ層の間に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- さらに、前記紙ベースのトップ層上に配置される防湿層を備えることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の材料。
- さらに、前記紙ベースのトップ層上に配置される第1防湿層、及び前記紙ベースの基板の第2表面に配置される第2防湿層を備えることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の材料。
- 前記充填剤が、充填剤の総重量を基礎にして、
(i)0%〜90%重量の量の無機充填剤;及び
(ii)10%〜100%重量の量の有機充填剤
を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。 - 前記充填剤が、充填剤の総重量を基礎にして、
(i)40%〜90%重量の量の無機充填剤;及び
(ii)10%〜60%重量の量の有機充填剤
を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。 - 前記断熱組成物が、合体した液滴、長手方向に延在した波状のストランド、又はそれらの組み合わせの形態で前記基板上に付加されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記断熱組成物は、全組成物重量を基にして20%重量を超えないスターチ結合剤を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記スターチ結合剤は、全スターチ重量を基にして、
(i)10%〜50%重量の量のゼラチン化されたスターチ;及び
(ii)50%〜90%重量の量のゼラチン化されていないスターチ
を含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の材料。 - 前記スターチ結合剤は、全スターチ重量を基にして、
(i)0%〜70%重量の量のゼラチン化されたスターチ;及び
(ii)30%〜100%重量の量のゼラチン化されていないスターチ
を含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の材料。 - 前記スターチ結合剤は、全スターチ重量を基にして、
(i)50%〜100%重量の量のゼラチン化されたスターチ;及び
(ii)0%〜50%重量の量のゼラチン化されていないスターチ
を含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の材料。 - 前記断熱組成物が、全組成物重量を基にして少なくとも20%の重量のスターチ結合剤を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記スターチ結合剤は、全スターチ重量を基にして、
(i)10%〜50%重量の量のゼラチン化されたスターチ;及び
(ii)50%〜90%重量の量のゼラチン化されていないスターチ
を含むことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の材料。 - 前記断熱組成物は、さらに、ホウ砂を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記断熱組成物は、組成物の全重量を基に1%〜15%の重量の量のケイ酸ナトリウムを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記断熱組成物は、ゼラチン化されていないスターチ及びケイ酸ナトリウムを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記断熱組成物は、組成物の全重量を基にして、
(i)5%〜32%重量の量のゼラチン化されていないスターチ;及び
(ii)1%〜15%重量の量のケイ酸ナトリウム
を含むことを特徴とする請求項16に記載の材料。 - 前記断熱組成物は、全組成物重量を基にして2%〜50%の重量の量で充填剤としてセルロース固形物として含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記セルロース固形物の粒子サイズは、100ミクロンを超えることを特徴とする請求項18に記載の材料。
- 前記セルロース固形物は、セルロース繊維、木粉、木材粉塵、グルテン飼料、及びそれらの組み合わせからなるグループから選択される要素を含むことを特徴とする請求項18に記載の材料。
- 前記セルロース繊維は、2mmよりも大きくない長さで且つ25:1よりも大きくないアスペクト比により特徴付けられる請求項20に記載の材料。
- 前記断熱組成物は、全組成物重量を基にして0.5%〜1%の重量の量で充填剤としてコーン繊維を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記充填剤は、セラミック空気含有粒子、パーライト粒子、及びそれらの組み合わせからなるグループから選択される絶縁粒子を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記有機結合剤は、スチレン−ブタジエンポリマー、アクリックスチレンブタジエンラテックスポリマー、スターチ、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリビニルアセテート、及びそれらの組み合わせからなるグループから選択される要素を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記断熱層の厚さが0.05mm〜5mmの範囲にあることにより特徴付けられる請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記断熱組成物は、0.03〜0.5の範囲の疑似可塑性指数を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記断熱組成物は、2000〜50000cpsの範囲の低せん断粘性及び100〜5000cpsの範囲の高せん断粘性を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記紙ベースの基板の多孔率は、20〜150ガーレー単位の範囲内にあることにより特徴付けられる請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記紙ベースの基板の多孔率は、20〜150ガーレー単位の範囲内にあることにより特徴付けられる請求項2に記載の材料。
- 前記材料は、0.1kgf/cm2〜1.0kgf/cm2の範囲の圧力を保持することができることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 請求項1に記載の前記包装材料を含む飲料用カップ。
- 請求項2に記載の前記包装材料を含む飲料用カップ。
- 請求項3に記載の前記包装材料を含む飲料用カップ。
- 断熱包装材料を準備する方法であって、以下のステップ、
(i)第1及び第2表面を有する紙ベースの基板を提供するステップ;
(ii)コートされた構造を提供するために該紙ベースの基板の該第1表面上に断熱層を付加するステップであって、前記断熱層はボイド構造を含み、流体組成物の総重量を基にして以下のものを含む流体断熱組成物から生成されるステップ;
(a)20%〜70%重量の量の充填剤;
(b)15%〜70%重量の量の有機結合剤;
(c)0.5%〜10%重量の量の可塑剤;及び
(d)15%を超える重量の量の水分
(iii)前記断熱層の水含有量を、前記断熱層の総重量を基に、10%〜15%の範囲に減少させるために前記コートされた構造を乾燥するステップ
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記断熱組成物は、合体した液滴、長手方向に延在した波状のストランド、又はそれらの組み合わせの形態で前記基板上に付加されることを特徴とする請求項34に記載の方法。
- 前記充填剤が、充填剤の総重量を基にして、
(i)0%〜90%重量の量の無機充填剤;及び
(ii)10%〜100%重量の量の有機充填剤
を含むことを特徴とする請求項34に記載の方法。 - 前記充填剤が、充填剤の総重量を基にして、
(i)40%〜90%重量の量の無機充填剤;及び
(ii)10%〜60%重量の量の有機充填剤
を含むことを特徴とする請求項34に記載の方法。 - 前記断熱組成物は、全組成物重量を基にして20%重量を超えないスターチ結合剤を備えることを特徴とする請求項34に記載の方法。
- 前記断熱組成物が、全組成物重量を基にして少なくとも20%の重量のスターチ結合剤を備えることを特徴とする請求項34に記載の方法。
- 前記断熱組成物は、さらに、ホウ砂を含むことを特徴とする請求項34に記載の方法。
- 前記断熱組成物は、ケイ酸ナトリウムを含むことを特徴とする請求項34に記載の方法。
