Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a balancer shaft provided inside an engine in order to cancel vibration generated in, for example, an automobile engine.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, for example, an automobile engine is provided with various balancer shafts for canceling vibrations generated from the engine by rotating in synchronization with a crankshaft (see, for example, Patent Documents 1 and 2). As an example, FIG. 3A shows a configuration in which a pair of
The pair of
As shown in FIG. 3 (b), the
As shown in FIG. 3 (c), the driven balancer shaft 6 extends from one end side to the other end side and rotates around a
Here, in the drive and driven
According to the configuration described above, when the
At this time, the
More specifically, the vibration of the engine includes, for example, primary vibration that occurs once per crankshaft rotation due to the reciprocating motion of the piston, or when changing the vertical motion of the piston to rotational motion via the connecting rod. , Secondary vibrations generated at a cycle of two times per rotation of the crankshaft are included, and such primary vibrations and secondary vibrations are caused by the rotational movements of the drive and driven
In this case, one of the drive and driven
By the way, in recent years, the drive and driven
In this case, in addition to the
On the other hand, the driving and driven
Therefore, at the same time as reducing the weight, by increasing the unbalance amount, it is possible to drastically improve the quietness of the engine. Low cost driving with excellent durability (rigidity) and posture stability and Although development of driven
The present invention has been made to meet such demands, and its purpose is to make it possible to dramatically improve the quietness of the engine by increasing the unbalance while simultaneously reducing the weight. An object of the present invention is to provide a low-cost balancer shaft having excellent durability (rigidity) and posture stability.
In order to achieve this object, the present invention sets a shaft body that rotates about a rotation shaft, an annular journal that is rotatably supported by a housing by a bearing, and a center of gravity that is offset from the rotation shaft. A balancer shaft provided with a balance weight that is formed, and a rolling surface that rolls along the bearing while being supported by the bearing is continuously formed on the outer periphery of the journal along the circumferential direction. At the same time, in the journal, the center of the rolling surface is partly cut out along the circumferential direction at a portion opposite to the center of gravity of the balance weight with respect to the rotation axis of the shaft body, so that it is recessed from the other surfaces. A recessed portion is formed.
In the present invention, the recess is formed by cutting out a portion of the entire circumference of the rolling surface ranging from 18 degrees to 180 degrees in the circumferential direction around the rotation axis.
In the present invention, the recess is formed by cutting out a portion of the entire width of the rolling surface that covers 5% to 90% of the width direction region supported by the bearing.
In the present invention, the recess is formed by cutting out a part of the diameter of the rolling surface that ranges from 5% to 50% from the rolling surface.
According to the present invention, it is possible to drastically improve the quietness of the engine by increasing the unbalance while simultaneously reducing the weight, and the durability (rigidity) and the posture stability are excellent. A cost balancer shaft can be realized.
Hereinafter, a balancer shaft according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Since the present embodiment is an improvement of the pair of
As shown in FIGS. 1 (a) and 1 (b), in the
As the
Further, as the
Here, the
However, while the
In this case, the rolling surfaces Rs of the
In the present embodiment, since the above-described
That is, the
In this case, the opening angle θ of the
The
In this case, it is preferable to set the opening width P of the recess 12 (portion extending over the range of the axial width T) to 90% or less, where the axial width T is 100%. By setting it to 90% or less, it is possible to leave the rolling surfaces Rs to the extent that the postures of the plurality of rolling elements (rollers) 16 are kept constant on both axial sides H of the opening width P. On the other hand, if it exceeds 90%, when the plurality of rolling elements (rollers) 16 are displaced along the directions of the
In order to increase the amount of unbalance, the opening width P is preferably set to at least 5% or more when the axial width T is 100%. The opening width P is more preferably set in the range of 5% to 80%. By setting it to 80% or less, it is possible to further stabilize the posture control of each of the plurality of rolling elements (rollers) 16 in the non-load zone.
Furthermore, the recessed
In this case, the opening depth of the
As described above, according to the present embodiment, the center of the rolling contact surface Rs is located at a portion (non-load zone) opposite to the center of gravity of the
In this case, the configuration (opening angle θ, opening width P, opening depth) of the
Further, the
The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and the following technical idea is also included in the technical scope of the present invention.
For example, it is preferable that the center of the width direction region T supported by the needle roller bearing 10 (the plurality of rolling elements (rollers) 16) and the center of the opening width P of the
Further, for example, as shown in FIG. 2B, it is preferable to chamfer F on the portion (boundary) along the portion (boundary) where the rolling surface Rs moves to the
Moreover, the shape of the recessed
