Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a table elevating device used to move a support table that supports a workpiece up and down in order to mount a component on a workpiece such as a flat display panel, or to perform processing or processing. is there.
As a flat display panel, for example, a liquid crystal panel is manufactured through various processes. In the manufacturing process of the liquid crystal panel, the panel may be positioned at a predetermined position and moved up and down. For example, an IC circuit component constituting a driver circuit is mounted on a liquid crystal panel, and a TAB mounting method is widely used as a representative mounting method of this IC circuit component.
In order to mount IC circuit components on a TAB on a liquid crystal panel, an IC circuit that is pitch-fed at a predetermined distance while the panel substrate constituting the liquid crystal panel is sucked and held on a suction stand and held by the suction means during that time. The component is temporarily pressure-bonded to the panel substrate via an ACF (Anisotropic Conductive Film). After this temporary pressure bonding is performed, the heat pressure bonding is performed by pressing the IC circuit component against the panel substrate under heating. The thermocompression bonding of the IC circuit component is performed using a heated crimping head, and a predetermined pressure is applied to the panel substrate by the crimping head. At the time of crimping, in order to support the load by the crimping head, the lower surface of the panel substrate is brought into contact with the cradle.
A TAB mounting device for IC circuit components on a panel substrate is configured as described above, and this type of device has been widely used in the past, as shown, for example, in Patent Document 1 and the like. Yes. That is, the panel substrate is held on the pedestal by vacuum suction, set so that the part on which the IC circuit component is mounted is overhanged, and the crimping head placed at the upper position of this mounting part is moved down, and the IC circuit The part on which the component is mounted is pressed from above. And in order to support the load at the time of this crimping, it is set as the structure which arrange | positions a receiving member in the lower surface of a panel board | substrate.
By the way, in order to perform the crimping of the IC circuit components with high accuracy, it is necessary to adjust the position between the crimping head and the panel substrate before the crimping by the crimping head. For this purpose, a position adjusting mechanism is provided on either side of the crimping head or the panel substrate. The position adjusting mechanism includes at least a driving mechanism for the X-axis direction and the Y-axis direction in the horizontal plane and the rotation direction (θ direction). This position adjustment mechanism may be provided on either side, but the structure is complicated and large in that the mechanism for pressing the pressure bonding head is provided on the pressure bonding mechanism side where the pressure bonding head is provided. become. On the other hand, since the panel substrate side is basically a compact one comprising a panel substrate and a suction stand and its feed mechanism, it is desirable to provide the position adjusting mechanism on the panel substrate side.
The panel board suction table is provided with X-axis adjustment means, Y-axis adjustment means, and θ-direction adjustment means, and the position of the panel board sucked and held by the suction table is adjusted with reference to the alignment mark or the like. . If the panel substrate is subjected to position adjustment while being in contact with the member, the panel substrate is damaged. Accordingly, when the position of the panel substrate is adjusted, the panel substrate is moved away from the receiving member. When the position adjustment is completed, the panel substrate is lowered and placed on the receiving member. For this reason, the adsorption board of the panel substrate must be able to be raised and lowered. In addition, since the position adjustment is performed at the raised position, the position adjustment mechanism including the X-axis adjustment unit, the Y-axis adjustment unit, and the θ-direction adjustment unit needs to be provided on the side to be lifted.
Flat display panels composed of liquid crystal panels and the like tend to have a large screen, and as a manufacturing device there is a suction stand on which the panel substrate that constitutes the liquid crystal panel is directly placed according to the panel size. Will be. The lifting transmission mechanism interposed between the base member and the support table cannot stably hold the support table if the position of the action point is narrow with respect to the panel size. Therefore, the transmission mechanism for lifting needs to be determined according to the panel size to be handled. For example, when applied to a panel from 20 inches to 50 inches, it is necessary to make it equal or slightly smaller than the maximum size of 50 inches. There is. The cam mechanism shown in
For this reason, the connection of parts to a workpiece such as a large-sized liquid crystal panel, smoothness in processing and processing, etc. is lacking, which is not desirable from the viewpoint of processing and processing accuracy. If the angle of the inclined portion constituting the cam mechanism is reduced, the dimension in the height direction can be shortened. However, if the inclination of the cam mechanism is loosened, the followability of the movement of the driven member in the vertical direction is deteriorated, and the lifting and lowering operation of the suction table becomes slow.
Further, when the size of the suction table is increased, the configuration of the position adjusting mechanism is also increased and the weight is increased. In order to hold each part including the work provided on the suction table from the support table so as not to move in the horizontal direction, a guide shaft is erected on the base member so that the driven member is guided in the up-and-down direction. However, when the support table performs the lifting / lowering operation, a bending load acts on the guide shaft, and the stability of the lifting / lowering operation may be lacking.
The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and the object of the present invention is to allow the support table on which the work is placed to be raised and lowered smoothly and quickly with a small and compact configuration. There is to do.
In order to achieve the above-described object, the present invention is a table elevating device in which a support table is fixedly held in a horizontal direction and is connected to a base member so as to be movable in the vertical direction. Between the base member and the support table, there are provided a plurality of cam mechanism portions composed of a longitudinally moving member and an elevating member, and each of the longitudinally moving members is provided on the base member side. The elevating member is provided on the support table side, and has an interlocking drive member that moves each of the longitudinally moving members by the same distance in the same direction. Its feature is that it is configured to move up and down.
The cam mechanism portion is composed of a plurality of longitudinally moving members and the same number of vertically moving members as the longitudinally moving members, and each longitudinally moving member is configured to be engaged with a longitudinally moving guide member laid on the base member. Here, the front / rear movement guide members are provided in a plurality of rows in parallel with the base member, and at least one position, preferably a plurality of front / rear movement guide members are engaged with each front / rear movement guide member. On the other hand, each elevating member is engaged with a plurality of elevating guide members standing on the base member, and the elevating member is engaged with one elevating guide member one by one. Then, the longitudinally moving member and the ascending / descending member are respectively provided with a drive side inclined portion and a driven side inclined portion, and by connecting the drive side inclined portion and the driven side inclined portion so as to be relatively movable with each other, A cam mechanism unit configured to convert the movement in the front-rear direction into the movement in the vertical direction is configured. All the longitudinally moving members are connected via a connecting member, and the connecting member is connected to the reciprocating drive means. In addition, each elevating member that performs the elevating operation by reciprocating movement of each longitudinally moving member is fixed to the lower surface of the support table.
The back-and-forth moving member and the lifting / lowering member can be composed of members having the same right triangle shape. Then, the two orthogonal sides of the triangle have the same length, and preferably the longitudinal movement member is engaged with and guided by the longitudinal movement guide member provided on one side portion of the base member. It is desirable that the other side is guided by being engaged with the lifting guide member. The longitudinally moving member is a driving side driven by an interlocking driving member, and the ascending / descending member is a driven side. In order to convert the movement in the front-rear direction into the movement in the up-down direction, the slant sides of the front-rear moving member and the elevating member are engaged with each other.
A plurality of cam mechanism portions including a longitudinally moving member and an ascending / descending member are provided vertically and horizontally, and the number of sets depends on the size and weight of the support table that performs the ascending / descending operation. It is desirable that the inclination angle of the drive side inclined portion and the driven side inclined portion, that is, the pressure angle as the cam mechanism portion is about 20 to 30 degrees for smooth movement. The dimension of each part which comprises a cam mechanism part is set so that this pressure angle may be given and the required raising / lowering stroke of a support table may be obtained.
The front-rear movement member and the front-rear movement guide member are engaged with each other so as to be relatively movable between the up-down movement member and the up-down movement guide member and between the front-rear movement member and the up-down movement member. In order to perform the movement between these smoothly, as an engagement method, it shall be based on a slip or rolling. And all the raising / lowering members are fixed to the support table, and all the longitudinally moving members are moved in the same direction by the same distance by the interlocking driving members. For this purpose, each of the longitudinally moving members is connected to each other by a connecting member, and this connecting member is configured to move back and forth by the reciprocating drive means. In the case of positioning, reciprocating means such as a cylinder can be used. On the other hand, when it is necessary to finely adjust the height position of the support table, it is desirable to use a ball screw feeding means.
A work is placed on the support table, and the work is a flat plate member such as a panel substrate for a flat display. The panel substrate is generally placed on a support table in a horizontal state. Moreover, the work is detachably mounted on the support table, and is fixedly held in the mounted state. For this purpose, it is desirable to provide the support table with suction means for holding the work in a fixed manner. Further, depending on the work, it can be configured to be magnetically held or fixed by a clamping means or the like. Furthermore, although the workpiece may be directly placed on the support table, for example, a positioning mechanism or the like can be provided, and a mechanism for processing or processing the workpiece can be provided.
The work table is placed and the support table for performing a predetermined work on the work is driven up and down, and the support table is large and supported so that a large work is placed. Even if the table and various mechanisms provided on the support table have a large weight, the support table can be driven up and down smoothly, quickly and accurately, and the lift drive mechanism can be made compact and compact. It can be configured.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. First, FIG. 1 shows a configuration of a panel substrate 1 of a liquid crystal panel in which two glass substrates are bonded as a panel substrate and liquid crystal is sealed between them. Here, the panel substrate 1 includes a
In order to mount the
Each of the
FIG. 3 shows the configuration of the conveying
The transport table 14 is provided with an elevating
Here, in the main press-
Therefore, when the panel substrate 1 sucked and held on the suction table 25 provided on the support table 22 constituting the transport table 14 of the transport means 13 is carried in the main
As described above, the panel substrate 1 is driven up and down at least in the final
As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the
The back-and-

Of the four forward /
When the elevating
The table lifting / lowering device including the lifting / lowering
Here, the
The height of the
