Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a video transmission system, and in particular, enables a single signal cable to exchange image data (video signal), control data, power supply, and trigger signal between a television camera and a video device used for machine vision. Related to the video transmission system.
In general, in a machine vision system, a television camera that images a product on a belt conveyor at a predetermined timing of the system is used in order to execute a task such as a product inspection on a production line.
The television camera (imaging device) and the video device are connected by a signal cable, and image data (video signal) captured by the television camera is sent to the video device via the signal cable by the time division multiplexing method. The video apparatus performs various inspection processes based on the transmitted image data and displays an image on a monitor. Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2007-28588 cited in
In recent years, power has been superimposed on images and control data, and image data transmission, control data transmission, and power supply are often performed using a single signal cable. For example, there is a camera system disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2007-88714. In this case, an IEEE802.3ab / af standard cable is used as a signal cable between the television camera and the video apparatus. In the IEEE802.3ab / af standard, for example, as shown in FIG. 6, image data transmitted from the
By the way, in the machine vision system, a trigger signal is required to synchronize the

The

That is, the
The trigger signal generated by the trigger
In order to supply power to the
In the prior art shown in FIG. 6, it is necessary to connect two cables, that is, a
The present invention has been made in view of such a situation, and an object of the present invention is to reduce the number of cables to one, and to enable system construction regardless of which of two pair signals becomes a trigger signal. To do.
The present invention relates to a video transmission system. The video transmission system is a video transmission system in which a television camera and a video device are connected by a single signal cable, and power, image data, and control data are transmitted and received by the signal cable. The television camera includes a separation circuit that separates the trigger signal superimposed on the signal cable by the superposition circuit.
According to the present invention, it is possible to reduce the number of cables to be connected, thereby enabling connection with a single cable. Therefore, a movable part that is often mounted with a television camera used for machine vision and a video device are provided. Even if the space between the non-movable part to be installed is widened or narrowed, the image can be taken without any problem.
Next, modes for carrying out the present invention (hereinafter, simply referred to as “embodiments”) will be specifically described with reference to the drawings.
<First Embodiment>
FIG. 1 shows an outline of a
FIG. 2 is a functional block diagram showing a schematic configuration of the
As described above with reference to FIG. 7, the
The
The trigger
The
The first and
On the other hand, the
In the
On the other hand, in the
As described above, the video signal, the control signal, the power source, and the trigger signal are connected by using only one
<Second Embodiment>
As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, even if the range of the power supply signal when the trigger signal is multiplexed is in the range of 45 V to 50 V on the supply side, it may be attenuated by the cable length on the power reception side. . For example, as shown in FIGS. 15 and 16, the voltage varies from 44V to 47V. At this time, if 45V is set to 0V of the trigger signal and 50V is set to 5V of the trigger signal from the voltage on the power feeding side, the trigger signal cannot be reproduced on the power receiving side.
Therefore, in this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 17, the
<Third Embodiment>
In the first and second embodiments, imaging control by so-called DC voltage detection pulse detection, that is, imaging is started when the trigger signal becomes high level (or low level), and low level (or high level) is started. Control was performed to stop imaging when In the present embodiment, imaging control by pulse detection based on so-called capacitive coupling will be described. Hereinafter, (1) TWO trigger mode, (2) fixed shutter mode, and (3) ternary synchronization signal (ARIB BTA S-001 standard) use mode will be exemplified.
(1) TWO trigger mode:
In the TWO trigger mode, two trigger signals are used. FIG. 18 is a diagram showing the relationship between two trigger signals A and B and imaging on / off (exposure time) in the TWO trigger mode. Exposure is started at the falling edge of the trigger signal A (time Ta in the drawing), and the exposure is ended at the falling edge of the trigger signal B (time Tb in the drawing). That is, the pulse interval between the trigger signal A and the trigger signal B is the exposure time. As a result, the exposure time can be set arbitrarily.
FIG. 19 is a diagram illustrating a signal and imaging timing in which a power source, a trigger signal, and image / control data (TRD + / TRD−) are superimposed in the TWO trigger mode. FIG. 19A shows the signal TRD + (0), FIG. 19B shows the signal TRD− (0), and FIG. 19C shows the imaging timing. Here, the trigger signal A is superimposed on TRD + (0), and the trigger signal B is superimposed on TRD- (0). The trigger signal A is superimposed on TRD (0) (TRD + (0) and TRD- (0)), and the trigger signal B is superimposed on TRD (1) (TRD + (1) and TRD- (1)). The configuration may be such that which trigger signal is superimposed on which signal line can be appropriately selected in consideration of the influence of noise and the like.
(2) Fixed shutter mode:
In the fixed shutter mode, imaging exposure is started in synchronization with the fall (or rise) of the trigger signal. The end of the exposure is not after referring to the trigger signal but after a fixed time has elapsed after the start of exposure.
FIG. 20 is a diagram illustrating a signal and imaging timing in which a power source, a trigger signal, and image / control data (TRD + / TRD−) are superimposed in the fixed shutter mode. 20A shows the TRD + (0) signal, FIG. 20B shows the TRD− (0) signal, and FIG. 20C shows the imaging timing. As illustrated, the same trigger signal is superimposed on TRD + (0) and TRD− (0). Then, when the trigger signal falls (time T1 in the figure), exposure starts. Then, the exposure is continued when the trigger signal rises (time T2 in the figure), and the exposure ends when a fixed time elapses (time T3 in the figure).
(3) Mode of using ternary sync signal (ARIB BTA S-001 standard):
The ARIB BTA S-001 standard stipulates basic parameters, video signals used in the studio, synchronization signals, colorimetric parameters, and the like in the high-definition television system. In the standard, ternary synchronization signals having both positive and negative polarities are defined. FIG. 21 is a waveform diagram (FIGS. 21A and 21B) of a ternary synchronization signal having both positive and negative polarities defined in the ARIB BTA S-001 standard and its characteristic values (FIGS. 21C to 21E). )). FIG. 21B shows the waveform of FIG. 21A in detail. This ternary synchronization signal corresponds to the trigger signal described above. As shown in the figure, two synchronization signals indicated by the first and second fields are used. Therefore, by combining the video signal, the control signal, the power source, and the ternary synchronization signal (trigger signal) as one signal, it is possible to execute the imaging control at a desired timing as in the above-described TWO trigger mode. In addition, since the synchronization processing using the ternary synchronization signal generally uses the zero cross point of the signal, it is possible to eliminate the influence of the deviation due to the increase or decrease of the amplitude.
