Abstract
【解決手段】複列の転動体3、3のうちアウター側の転動体3のピッチ円直径PCDoがインナー側の転動体3のピッチ円直径PCDiよりも大径に設定された車輪用軸受装置のグリース封入方法において、複列の転動体3のサイズが同じで、アウター側の転動体3の個数がインナー側の転動体3の個数よりも多く設定されていると共に、転動体3と保持器9、10からなる複列のボールカセットを外方部材2にそれぞれ内嵌させた状態で、複数本のノズル17a、17bが放射線状に突設されたグリース封入治具17を内挿させ、複数のノズル17a、17bをボールカセットに対峙させて所定量のグリースを封入した。

Claims (4)
- 内周に複列の外側転走面が形成された外方部材と、
外周に前記複列の外側転走面に対向する複列の内側転走面が設けられた内方部材と、
この内方部材と前記外方部材の両転走面間に転動自在に収容された複列の転動体とを備え、
前記複列の転動体のうちアウター側の転動体のピッチ円直径がインナー側の転動体のピッチ円直径よりも大径に設定された車輪用軸受装置のグリース封入方法において、
前記転動体と保持器からなる複列のボールカセットを前記外方部材にそれぞれ内嵌させた状態で、複数本のノズルが放射線状に突設されたグリース封入治具を内挿させ、前記複数のノズルを前記ボールカセットに対峙させてアウター側とインナー側の各軸受列の内部空間容積比に比例した量のグリースを封入したことを特徴とする車輪用軸受装置のグリース封入方法。 - 前記複数のノズルのうちアウター側のノズルの本数とインナー側のノズルの本数を異ならせた請求項1に記載の車輪用軸受装置のグリース封入方法。
- 前記複数のノズルのうちアウター側のノズルの口径がインナー側のノズルの口径よりも大径に設定されている請求項1または2に記載の車輪用軸受装置のグリース封入方法。
- 前記グリース封入治具に前記複列のボールカセットに対峙するノズルが一体に取付けられ、当該グリース封入治具が前記外方部材のアウター側から内挿される請求項1乃至3いずれかに記載の車輪用軸受装置のグリース封入方法。
