Abstract
【解決手段】第1のインターバル時間でPM減量率が第1の閾値に達しない場合、DPF再生制御の制御量を補正して再生ガス温度を昇温方向に変更し(S4)、第2のインターバル時間でPM減量率が第2の閾値以上か否かを判定する。PM減量率が第1,第2の閾値より小さい場合、最大制限温度以下でDPF再生制御の制御量を補正して再生ガス温度を昇温方向に変更し、PMの焼却を促進する。一方、第2のインターバル時間で第2の閾値以上のPM減量率以上になった場合、DPF再生制御の制御量をイニシャル設定に戻し(S6)、PMの急激な燃焼によるDPF損傷を防止する。これにより、DPFの耐久性低下を招くことなく効率的にPMを焼却し、燃費改善を図ることができる。

尚、変換係数kは、排気温度上昇速度の差分をPM堆積量に変換する係数であり、エンジン回転数とアクセル開度とに基づくマップ参照等によって求め、エンジン回転数が増加する程、またアクセル開度が増加する程、変換係数kが大きくなるように設定される。

Claims (6)
- 排気ガス中に含まれる粒子状物質を捕集する捕集装置を備え、該捕集装置に堆積した粒子状物質を昇温手段により除去する再生処理を実行するエンジンの排気浄化装置において、
上記再生処理の実行中、所定のインターバル時間で上記粒子状物質の減量率が閾値以上か否かを判定する減量率判定部と、
上記減量率判定部の判定結果に応じて上記粒子状物質を焼却するための上記昇温手段を可変に制御する再生制御部と
を備えることを特徴とするエンジンの排気浄化装置。 - 上記再生制御部は、上記減量率が第1の閾値以上と判定されている場合、上記昇温手段による制御を変更することなく上記再生処理を継続することを特徴とする請求項1記載のエンジンの排気浄化装置。
- 上記再生制御部は、上記減量率が第1の閾値より少ないと判定された場合、上記昇温手段を昇温方向に制御することを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載のエンジンの排気浄化装置。
- 上記再生制御部は、上記減量率が第2の閾値以上と判定された場合、上記昇温手段による昇温制御を停止することを特徴とする請求項3記載のエンジンの排気浄化装置。
- 上記減量率判定部は、上記減量率の上記第2の閾値に対する判定を、上記減量率の上記第1の閾値に対する判定のインターバル時間より短いインターバル時間で行うことを特徴とする請求項4記載のエンジンの排気浄化装置。
- 上記昇温手段は、多段噴射におけるメイン噴射の噴射時期のリタード又はメイン噴射の噴射後のポスト噴射であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一に記載のエンジンの排気浄化装置。
