Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a vehicle drive device including a charging port to which an external power source for charging a drive battery is connected.
However, in the case of starting the charging of the drive battery after confirming the operation of the insulation detection sensor in advance, there is a risk of erroneously diagnosing the operation state of the insulation detection sensor depending on the humidity around the insulation detection sensor. In addition, since the insulation detection sensor is used to detect the short-circuit state of the charging port, it is difficult to reduce the cost by the insulation detection sensor, and the layout of the electric vehicle is restricted.
This invention is made | formed in view of the said subject, It is providing the vehicle drive device which can detect the short circuit state of a charge port, without using the objective and an insulation detection sensor.
The vehicle drive device according to the first aspect of the present invention stops the power supply from the drive battery to the inverter circuit and consumes the electric power stored in the smoothing capacitor, so that the voltage of the smoothing capacitor becomes a predetermined value or less. After that, the smoothing capacitor and the charging port are connected, and the short-circuit state of the charging port is detected based on a change in the terminal voltage of the smoothing capacitor. The vehicle drive device according to the second aspect of the present invention charges the smoothing capacitor by turning on the precharge relay in a state where the terminal voltage of the smoothing capacitor and the voltage of the driving battery are different, and the terminal voltage of the smoothing capacitor is a predetermined value. After the smoothing capacitor is stopped charging at the timing, the smoothing capacitor and the charging port are connected, and the short-circuit state of the charging port is detected based on the change in the terminal voltage of the smoothing capacitor.
According to the vehicle drive device of the present invention, it is possible to detect a short-circuit state of the charging port without using an insulation detection sensor.
Hereinafter, with reference to the drawings, the configuration and operation of a vehicle drive device according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described.
[Configuration of vehicle drive device]
First, with reference to FIG. 1, the structure of the vehicle drive device which becomes embodiment of this invention is demonstrated.
As shown in FIG. 1, a vehicle drive device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a
The vehicle drive device charges the drive battery 3 by supplying the output of the external charger connected to the
The
[Control system configuration]
Next, the configuration of the control system of the vehicle drive device will be described with reference to FIG.
As shown in FIG. 2, the control system of the vehicle drive device includes a charging
[Short-circuit detection operation]
Next, a short circuit detection operation of the vehicle drive device will be described with reference to a flowchart shown in FIG.
The flowchart shown in FIG. 3 starts at the timing when the driver's intention to stop the vehicle can be confirmed by switching the start key of the electric vehicle from on to off (time T = T0 shown in FIG. 4). The process proceeds to step S1.
In step S1, the main
In the process of step S2, the
In the process of step S3, the
In the process of step S4, the
In the process of step S5, the charging
In the process of step S6, the vehicle integrated
In the process of step S7, the
In the process of step S8, after the
In the process of step S <b> 9, the vehicle integrated
In step S10, the vehicle integrated
As shown in FIG. 2, since the
In addition, when the
In the process of step S12, the vehicle integrated
[Capacitor deterioration learning]
Next, the flow of the capacitor deterioration learning process in step S8 will be described with reference to the flowchart shown in FIG.
The flowchart shown in FIG. 5 starts when the charging
In the process of step S21, the vehicle integrated
In the process of step S <b> 22, the vehicle integrated
In the process of step S23, the capacitance change of the capacitor is generally greater due to the temperature change than the change with time, so the vehicle integrated
In the process of step S24, the vehicle integrated
[Short-circuit detection operation at vehicle startup]
Next, with reference to the timing chart shown in FIG. 6, the short circuit detection operation of the vehicle drive device at the time of starting the vehicle will be described.
The short-circuit detection operation at the start of the vehicle starts at the timing (time T = T0) when the driver's intention to start the vehicle can be confirmed by switching the start key of the electric vehicle from off to on. The
[Modification]
Finally, a modified example of the capacitor deterioration learning process shown in FIG. 5 will be described with reference to the flowchart shown in FIG. The flowchart shown in FIG. 8 starts when the charging
In the process of step S32, the capacitor
In the process of step S <b> 33, the
In the process of step S34, the vehicle integrated
In the process of step S35, the vehicle integrated
In the process of step S <b> 36, the vehicle integrated
In the process of step S37, the vehicle integrated
As is apparent from the above description, according to the vehicle drive device according to the embodiment of the present invention, the power supply from the drive battery 3 to the
Moreover, in the vehicle drive device which becomes embodiment of this invention, since the drive of the means which consumes the electric power of the smoothing
In the vehicle drive device according to the embodiment of the present invention, when the
