Abstract
【構成】 コネクタは、絶縁性を有するボディ100と、ボディ100内に同じ高さ位置で間隔を空けて配設されたTX+信号用コンタクト210、TX−信号用コンタクト220と、ボディ100内にコンタクト210、220と異なる高さ位置でコンタクト210、220の間に当該コンタクト210、220のいずれか一方に偏在して配設されたVbus用コンタクト310とを備えている。Vbus用コンタクト310は、コンタクト210、220に平面位置的に重なる両端部312a、312bのコンタクト210、220に対する重なり面積が略同じになっている。

Claims (7)
- 絶縁性を有するボディと、
ボディ内に同じ高さ位置で間隔を空けて配設された第1、第2の差動信号用コンタクトと、
ボディ内に第1、第2の差動信号用コンタクトと異なる高さ位置で第1、第2の差動信号用コンタクトの間に当該第1、第2の差動信号用コンタクトのいずれか一方に偏在して配設された第3のコンタクトとを備えており、
第3のコンタクトは、第1の差動信号用コンタクトに平面位置的に重なる第1の重複部と、第2の差動信号用コンタクトに平面位置的に重なる第2の重複部とを有し、
この第1、第2の重複部分の第1、第2の差動信号用コンタクトに対する重なり面積が当該第1、第2の差動信号用コンタクトのインピーダンスの差に応じて調整されていることを特徴とするコネクタ。 - 請求項1記載のコネクタにおいて、
第1、第2の重複部分の第1、第2の差動信号用コンタクトに対する重なり面積が略同じであることを特徴とするコネクタ。 - 請求項2記載のコネクタにおいて、
前記第1、第2の重複部分は第3のコンタクトの幅方向の両端部であり、当該第1、第2の重複部分のうち少なくとも一方が幅方向に拡張されていることを特徴とするコネクタ。 - 請求項3記載のコネクタにおいて、
第3のコンタクトは、相手側コネクタのコンタクトが接触することにより第1、第2の差動信号用コンタクト側に弾性変形可能な端子であって、第1、第2の重複部分のうち少なくとも一方が幅方向に拡張されることによる当該第3のコンタクトの弾性力の向上を抑制する弾性力抑制手段が設けられていることを特徴とするコネクタ。 - 請求項4記載のコネクタにおいて、
前記弾性力抑制手段は第3のコンタクトの第1、第2の重複部分の間の中間部に設けられた開口であることを特徴とするコネクタ。 - 請求項2記載のコネクタにおいて、
第3のコンタクトは、先端側の前記第1の重複部分と基端側の前記第2の重複部分とを連結する連結部を更に有し、連結部が第1、第2の重複部分に対して直交又は傾斜していることを特徴とするコネクタ。 - 請求項4記載のコネクタにおいて、
第3のコンタクトは、その先端部に第1、第2の差動信号用コンタクトに向けて移動可能な可動接点部を更に有していることを特徴とするコネクタ。
