Description
ここで、イソタクチックポリプロピレンの融解熱は、ビー・ワンデルリッヒ(B. Wunderlich),高分子物理(Macromolecular Physics),第3巻,結晶融解(Crystal Melting),アカデミック・プレス(Acedemic Press),ニュー・ヨーク(New York),1980年,p.48にて報告されているように重合体gあたり165ジュールである。
Claims (27)
- 射出成形機にポリオレフィンを含有する第一の原料を供給する工程、射出成形機に粒子状の充填剤と第二のポリオレフィンとの混合物を含有する第二の原料を供給する工程、射出成形機にエラストマーを含有する第三の原料を供給する工程、射出成形機の内部において第一、第二および第三の原料を混合して混合物を形成する工程、そして混合物を成形型に射出する工程からなる射出成形品を製造する方法であって、該方法は混合工程に先立って第一、第二および第三の原料を調合する工程を実質的に含まないことを特徴とする方法。
- 射出成形機がスクリュー・バレル部材の上流に位置するホッパーを含み、供給工程が第一、第二および第三の原料をホッパーへ供給することを含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 混合工程をスクリュー・バレル部材内部で行い、スクリュー・バレル部材が約15/1より大きい長さ/直径比を有することを特徴とする請求項2記載の方法。
- 混合工程中に、少なくとも約100psiの背圧を第一、第二および第三の原料にかけることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 混合工程中に、約25〜250rpmのスクリュー速度を採用することを特徴とする請求項3又は4記載の方法。
- 混合工程を約180〜約270℃の温度で行うことを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 射出工程が、混合物を静的混合機に通過させることを含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 射出工程が、吹込成形、二段式射出成形あるいはそれらの組み合わせから選ばれる複数の操作工程の一部であることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 射出成形機のスクリューが複数の流れ内チャンネルおよび流れ外チャンネルの両方を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 射出成形機が、分散混合を与えるための少なくとも1つの溝、分配混合を与えるための少なくとも1つのバイパスチャンネル、あるいはその両方を有する混合フライトを含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 混合が分散混合および分配混合を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 第一の原料のポリオレフィンが、約70g/10分(230℃、2.16kg)未満のメルトフローレート、(第一の原料の)約8重量%より多い量のエチレンを含有すること、結晶化度が約40%より多いこと、あるいはそれらの任意の組み合わせによって特徴づけられる純ポリプロピレン単独重合体、純ポリプロピレン耐衝撃性共重合体であることを特徴とする請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 粒子状の充填剤がタルクであることを特徴とする請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 第二のポリオレフィンが約70g/10分(230℃、2.16kg)未満のメルトフローレート、(第一の原料の)約8重量%より多い量のエチレンを含有すること、結晶化度が約40%より多いこと、あるいはそれらの組み合わせによって特徴づけられる純ポリプロピレン単独重合体、純ポリプロピレン耐衝撃性共重合体であることを特徴とする請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 第三の原料のエラストマーがα−オレフィン共単量体を含み、そして約0.9未満の密度、約0.5〜約30g/10分(190℃、2.16kg)のメルトフローレート、約−30℃未満のガラス転移温度、あるいはそれらの任意の組み合わせを有することを特徴とする請求項1〜14のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 第一、第二および第三の原料の相対的な量は、第一の原料が約30〜90重量部、所望により第二の原料が約30重量部以下、および第三の原料が約3〜40重量部の範囲であることを特徴とする請求項1〜15のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 粘性率が約0.2〜7であることを特徴とする請求項1〜16のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 生成した物品が、ラメラ形態、約0.1μm〜約5μmのゴム領域サイズを有する液体粒子状形態、あるいはそれらの組み合わせを示すことを特徴とする請求項1〜17のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 生成した物品が、次の性質、すなわち、密度が約0.85〜約1.05g/cm3、曲げ弾性率が約600〜約2500MPa、引張強度(降伏点)が少なくとも約8MPa、装置化落槍衝撃試験における延性破断モード(−40℃、−30℃あるいは0℃)が試験サンプルの約90%超、の少なくとも2つの任意の組み合わせを示すことを特徴とする請求項1〜18のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜19のいずれか1項に記載の方法によって製造された物品。
- 本質的に熱可塑性ポリオレフィンからなる第一の原料、粒子状充填剤と第二の熱可塑性ポリオレフィンとの混合物を含有する第二の原料、および本質的にエラストマーからなる第三の原料を含む、成形されたプラスチック物品を製造するためのキット。
- 第一の原料の熱可塑性ポリオレフィンが、約70g/10分(230℃、2.16kg)未満のメルトフローレート、(第一の原料の)約8重量%より多い量のエチレンを含有すること、結晶化度が約40%より多いこと、あるいはそれらの任意の組み合わせによって特徴づけられる純ポリプロピレン単独重合体、純ポリプロピレン耐衝撃性共重合体であることを特徴とする請求項21に記載のキット。
- 粒子状充填剤がタルクであることを特徴とする請求項21又は22記載のキット。
- 第二の熱可塑性ポリオレフィンが、約70g/10分(230℃、2.16kg)未満のメルトフローレート、(第一の原料の)約8重量%より多い量のエチレンを含有すること、結晶化度が約40%より多いこと、あるいはそれらの任意の組み合わせによって特徴づけられる純ポリプロピレン単独重合体、純ポリプロピレン耐衝撃性共重合体であることを特徴とする請求項21〜23のいずれか1項に記載のキット。
- 第三の原料のエラストマーがα−オレフィン共単量体を含み、そして約0.9g/cm3未満の密度、約0.5〜約30g/10分(190℃、2.16kg)のメルトフローレート、約−30℃未満のガラス転移温度、あるいはそれらの任意の組み合わせを有することを特徴とする請求項21〜24のいずれか1項に記載のキット。
- 第一、第二および第三の原料の相対的な量は、第一の原料が約30〜90重量部、第二の原料が約10〜30重量部、および第三の原料が約3〜40重量部の範囲であることを特徴とする請求項21〜25のいずれか1項に記載のキット。
- 別々の原料として、熱可塑性ポリオレフィンを含有する第一の原料、粒子状充填剤と第二の熱可塑性ポリオレフィンとの混合物を含有する第二の原料、およびエラストマーを含有する第三の原料を供給する工程、原料を混合し溶融混合物を形成するために原料を高温にした状態で、第一、第二および第三の原料にせん断力をかける工程、溶融混合物を成形および溶融混合物を固化させる工程からなる、成形品を製造する方法。
