Abstract
a)熱成形可能なポリマーシートの少なくとも1つの主要面上に、硬化性組成物を含むインク組成物をスクリーン印刷する工程;
b)前記硬化性組成物を硬化し、少なくとも1つの主要面上に硬化された組成物を含むインクを有する印刷されたシートを得る工程;及び
c)装飾物品を得るために、前記印刷されたシートを熱成形する工程;を含み、
前記硬化性組成物が、ポリイソシアネート、及びイソシアネート反応基を含む成分を含み、そして前記インク組成物が、前記硬化性組成物が可溶な又は混和可能である、溶媒又は溶媒ブレンドを含有する、物品の形成方法。
Description
a)熱成形可能なポリマーシートの少なくとも1つの主要面上に、硬化性組成物を含むインク組成物をスクリーン印刷する;
b)前記硬化性組成物を硬化し、少なくとも1つの主要面上に硬化された組成物を含むインクを有する印刷されたシートを得る;及び
c)印刷されたシートを熱成形し、装飾物品を得る;
ここで、前記硬化性組成物は、ポリイソシアネートとイソシアネート反応基を含む成分とを含み、前記インク組成物は、その中に前記硬化性組成物が可溶性又は混和性である溶媒又は溶媒ブレンドを含有する。
D7900:3M社から市販される、望ましい色のインクを調製するためのクリアーベースインク。クリアーベースインクは、PVC樹脂及びアクリル樹脂に基づき、シクロヘキサノン、芳香族溶媒及びエチレングリコールブチルエーテルアセテートの溶媒混合物を含有する。

1.スクリーン印刷工程
厚さ200μmの透明のポリカーボネートマクロフォール(Makrofol)(商標)(バイエルAG(Bayer AG)、(ドイツ)から入手可能)のシートに、市販の平床スクリーン印刷機を使用してスクリーン印刷した。実施例1及び2のインク組成物を使用した2工程におけるスクリーン印刷により、所望のデザインを得た。
上記で得られる印刷されたシートを、印刷された領域が雄型の型に面するような手段で、キャノン(Cannon)真空熱成形機モデル番号フォーマ(Forma)(商標)1200(コルソノバラ(Corso Novara)179−27029ヴィジェーヴァノ(Vigevano)(PV)−イタリア)に適用した。当該雄型の型は、熱成形装置の下側部分であった。当該シートが可撓性になったとき、真空により、雄型の型の外側周辺をシートで包んだ。当該ポリカーボネートの熱成形プロセスの温度は、145℃付近であった(以下のISO360方法B50)。
当該得られる多色のポリカーボネート部分について、印刷されたインク層における亀裂を視覚により検査した。当該印刷された画像に亀裂は見つからなかった。
別の方法によって硬化された代わりのインクを使用した以外は、実施例Aを繰り返した。このインクは、セリコール(SERICOL)(富士フィルム・セリコール英国(FujifilmSericol UK Limited)、ブロードスタイル(Broadstairs)、ケント(Kent)CT102LE)から市販されているUV硬化性インクディラソル(Dirasol)(商標)916/917であった。当該製造業社によって推奨されるように、インクを上記のように適用し、UVランプを使用して硬化した。
1903:3M(商標)スクリーン印刷インク1903ホワイト、3M社(米国、ミネソタ州、セントポール(St. Paul))から入手可能。
DBTDL:イソシアネート反応により重合するためのジラウリン酸ジブチルスズ触媒、ポリサイエンス社(PolySciences, Inc.)(米国、ペンシルベニア州、ウォリントン(Warrington))から入手可能。
Claims (11)
- 装飾面を有する物品の形成方法であって、下記の工程:
a)熱成形可能なポリマーシートの少なくとも1つの主要面上に、硬化性組成物を含むインク組成物をスクリーン印刷する工程;
b)硬化された組成物を含むインクを少なくとも1つの主要面上に有する、印刷されたシートを得るために、前記硬化性組成物を硬化する工程;及び
c)装飾物品を得るために、前記印刷されたシートを熱成形する工程;を含み、
前記硬化性組成物が、ポリイソシアネート、及びイソシアネート反応基を含む成分を含み、そして前記インク組成物が、前記硬化性組成物が可溶な溶媒又は溶媒ブレンドを含有する、物品の形成方法。 - 反応基を有する前記成分が、ヒドロキシル基を有するアクリルポリマーを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリイソシアネートが、ジイソシアネート又はトリイソシアネートを含む、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記溶媒が、ケトン、エステル、アミド、又はこれらの混合物から選択される、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 当該溶媒が、シクロヘキサノン、イソホロン、ジアセトンアルコール、N−メチルピロリドン、メトキシプロピルアセテート、イソプロポキシエチルアセテート、エトキシエチルプロピオネート、エチルラクテート、及びこれらの混合物から選択される、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 当該硬化性インク材料が、任意に2つ以上のヒドロキシル基を有する、カプロラクトン又はポリカプロラクトン化合物を更に含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記熱成形可能なポリマーシートが、ポリカーボネート、ポリエチレンテレフタレートグリコール(PETG)、アクリロニトリルブタジエンスチレン(ABS)、熱可塑性ポリオレフィン(TPO)、ポリプロピレン、アクリル化合物、及びこれらの混合物を含む群から選択される1材料から製造される、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記熱成形可能なポリマーシートがポリカーボネートである、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記硬化工程b)が、前記印刷されたシートの加熱を含む、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記方法が、当該インク組成物を当該熱成形可能なポリマーシートに部分的に浸透させる工程を包含する、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 請求項6又は10に記載の方法で得られる装飾面を有する物品。
