Abstract
Description

本発明における適切な基材は、ガラス基材、セラミック基材、金属基材またはプラスチック基材、好ましくはガラス、金属またはセラミック基材、極めて特に好ましくはガラス基材または金属基材である。構造化された表面を有するガラス基材または金属基材は、特に光学用途、とりわけLCDに好適である。
適切な金属基材は、例えば、<1μmの平均粗度値を有する、磨かれた金属板、または、ブライト引抜(bright-drawn)金属板である。好適なプラスチック基材は、例えば、PMMAまたはポリカーボネートからなる。好適なセラミック基材は当業者に知られているすべてのセラミック、特に透明セラミックスであり、以下に言及される方法の1つを用いて構造化することができるものである。
被覆溶液中のそれぞれの固形分は、通常0.1〜20重量%、好ましくは2〜10重量%の範囲である。
本発明のさらなる態様において、構造化された表面は、金属層でさらに被覆される。この追加的な工程は、ゾル−ゲル法による被覆に続くものであり、その後の任意の時点で行うことができる。金属層による被覆は、湿式化学法によって、例えば、好適な還元法により、CVD法および/またはPVD法により行うことができ、PVD法が好ましい。

例1:
1mmの厚さを有するガラス板に、10〜50μmの範囲のサイズを有するガラスビーズを、2バールの噴射圧で200mmの距離から吹き付けた。ガラス板の塵を払い、水性/アルコール性SiO2ゾル(固形分:3重量%)に、4mm/秒の取り出し速度で、合計3回浸漬した。個々の浸漬工程の間、それぞれの場合において、ガラス板を室温で10分間乾燥した。

Claims (13)
- 基材の表面を構造化する方法であって、第1の工程で基材を構造化し、第2の工程で、構造化の部分的なスムージングのために、ゾル−ゲル法によって基材を被覆することを特徴とする、前記方法。
- 拡散的に散乱する表面が得られることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 構造化が、粒子噴射、レーザービーム、エッチング法またはエンボス法の作用によって行われることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 粒子噴射が、サンドジェットまたは電子ビームであることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の方法。
- ゾル−ゲル法で用いられるゾルが、チタン、ジルコニウム、アルミニウム、ケイ素元素の化合物および/またはその混合物のゾルであることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の方法。
- ゾル−ゲル法における被覆が、ディップコーティング、スプレー法またはフローカーテンを用いて行われることを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 構造化された表面を金属層でさらに被覆することを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 金属層による被覆を、湿式化学法によって、CVD法および/またはPVD法によって行うことを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 金属が、アルミニウム、銀、クロム、ニッケルまたは他の反射金属層であることを特徴とする、請求項7または8に記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜9に記載の方法の1つまたは2つ以上によって製造された、構造化された表面を有する基材。
- 基材が、ガラス基材、セラミック基材、金属基材またはプラスチック基材であることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の基材。
- 請求項1〜9に記載の方法の1つまたは2つ以上によって製造された、構造化された表面を有する基材の、光学用途におけるディフューザおよび/またはリフレクタとしての使用。
- 光学用途が液晶ディスプレイであることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の使用。
