Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a hybrid vehicle and a control method thereof.
However, in the above-described hybrid vehicle, when the warm-up operation is performed, when the state of the battery is not good (for example, when the storage amount that is the amount of power that can be discharged from the battery is low or the maximum power that can be discharged from the battery is When the battery is low, when the battery temperature is low, or when the battery is deteriorated), the power that can be supplied from the battery to the motor decreases and the power that can be output from the motor decreases. Even when the required power is small, warm-up operation is easily prohibited, and the chances of warming up the catalyst are reduced compared to when the battery is in good condition. In this case, it is conceivable to increase the engine speed regardless of the state of the battery. However, when the battery condition is good, the engine speed is unnecessarily increased, so that the fuel consumption deteriorates. End up.
The main object of the hybrid vehicle and the control method thereof of the present invention is to appropriately warm up the catalyst that purifies the exhaust gas of the internal combustion engine regardless of the state of the power storage device such as the secondary battery.

In the hybrid vehicle of the present invention, when the catalyst warm-up control is requested, when the detected power storage means is in a good state, the internal combustion engine is operated at the first rotational speed and the catalyst warm-up control is executed. The internal combustion engine, the generator, and the electric motor are controlled so as to run with a driving force based on the requested driving force set in the above-described manner, and when the detected state of the power storage means is not in a good state, the internal combustion engine is greater than the first rotational speed. The internal combustion engine, the generator, and the electric motor are controlled so as to travel with a driving force based on the required driving force that is set with the execution of the catalyst warm-up control while being operated at a rotational speed of 2. That is, even when the power storage means is not in a good state and the driving force that can be output from the motor is small, the output from the internal combustion engine, which increases by increasing the rotational speed of the internal combustion engine, is converted into electric power by the generator, and the motor It is possible to supply to. As a result, even when the state of the power storage means is not good, it is possible to ensure the power that can be output from the electric motor while performing the catalyst warm-up control, and appropriately warm up the catalyst regardless of the state of the power storage means. it can. Here, as the “3-axis power input / output means”, a planetary gear mechanism such as one using a double pinion planetary gear mechanism, a combination of a plurality of planetary gear mechanisms connected to four or more shafts, or a differential gear is used. It can also have a differential action different from that of the gear.
In such a hybrid vehicle of the present invention, the good state is a state in which the amount of power that is the amount of power that can be discharged from the power storage means is a predetermined power storage amount or more, a state in which the maximum power that can be discharged from the power storage means is a predetermined power or more, The power storage means may include a state where the temperature of the power storage unit is equal to or higher than a predetermined temperature and a state where the degree of deterioration of the power storage unit is lower than a predetermined level.
Further, in the hybrid vehicle of the present invention, the control means efficiently sets the ignition timing of the internal combustion engine to the internal combustion engine when power based on the set required driving force can be covered by power from the power storage means. The internal combustion engine is controlled to operate as a warm-up priority time that is later than the operation time, and when the power based on the set required driving force cannot be covered by the power from the power storage means, the internal combustion engine It is also possible to control the internal combustion engine so that the ignition timing is earlier than the warm-up priority timing. In this way, when the output from the internal combustion engine is not required, warm-up can be prioritized and warm-up can be promoted, and the catalyst can be appropriately warmed up regardless of the state of the power storage means.

Next, the operation of the
When the catalyst warm-up drive control routine is executed, the
When the battery state flag setting routine is executed, the CPU (not shown) of the
When the remaining capacity SOC is not less than the reference remaining capacity Sref, the output limit Wout is not less than the reference output limit Wref, the battery temperature Tb is not less than the reference battery temperature Tbref, and the deterioration factor D is less than the reference deterioration value Dref, the state of the
The battery state flag setting routine has been described above. Returning to the description of the drive control routine of FIG. When data is input in step S100, the required torque to be output to the
Subsequently, the value of the battery state flag F is checked (step S120). When the battery state flag F is 0, that is, when the
Subsequently, as the estimated value of the torque (engine torque) output from the

Tm2est = (Tr * + Tm1est / ρ) / Gr (3)
Pbest = Tm1est ・ Nm1est + Tm2est ・ Nm2 (4)
Subsequently, the calculated battery estimated output Pbest is compared with the output limit Wout of the battery 50 (step S190). When the estimated battery output Pbest is equal to or less than the output limit Wout, it is determined that the required power of the
Subsequently, the estimated motor rotation speed Nm1est calculated is set as the target rotation speed Nm1 *, and the torque of the motor MG1 is calculated by the following equation (5) based on the set target rotation speed Nm1 * and the input rotation speed Nm1 of the motor MG1. The command Tm1 * is set (step S230), and the torque command Tm1 * set to the required torque Tr * is divided by the gear ratio ρ of the power distribution and

Tm2min=(Win-Tm1*・Nm1)/Nm2 (7)
Tm2max=(Wout-Tm1*・Nm1)/Nm2 (8)
Tm2*=max(min(Tm2tmp,Tm2max),Tm2min) (9)
Tm1 * =-ρ ・ Te * / (1 + ρ) + k1 (Nm1 * -Nm1) + k2∫ (Nm1 * -Nm1) dt (5)

Tm2max = (Wout-Tm1 * ・ Nm1) / Nm2 (8)
Tm2 * = max (min (Tm2tmp, Tm2max), Tm2min) (9)
When the target engine speed Ne *, the target torque Te *, the target ignition timing Tf *, and the torque commands Tm1 * and Tm2 * of the motors MG1 and MG2 are thus set, the target engine speed Ne * and the target torque Te * of the
