Abstract
【解決手段】外側継手部材の軸部12の外径面とハブ輪1の孔部11の内径面37とのどちらか一方に設けられて軸方向に延びる凸部35を、軸方向に沿って他方に圧入し、他方に凸部35に密着嵌合する凹部36を形成して、凸部35と凹部36との嵌合接触部位38全域が密着する凹凸嵌合構造Mを構成する。凹凸嵌合構造Mは軸方向の引き抜き力付与による分離を許容する。ハブ輪1と軸部12とが、ボルト結合手段M5を介して固定される。再圧入時にはボルト結合手段M5によるボルト締付けによって圧入され、再圧入時におけるボルト結合手段M5への過大な軸力発生でボルト部材54が先行破損する。

Description
軸部嵌合孔22aの内径面37の内径寸法(ハブ輪内径)D4を、凸部35の最大外径、つまりスプライン41の凸部41aである前記凸部35の頂点を結ぶ円の最大直径寸法(外接円直径)D3よりも小さく、凸部間の軸部外径面に外径寸法、つまりスプライン41の凹部41bの底を結ぶ円の最大直径寸法D5よりも大きく設定される。すなわち、D5<D4<D3とされる。また、孔部22の大径部46の孔径寸法D7よりもD3を小さく設定する。

Claims (10)
- ハブ輪と複列の転がり軸受と等速自在継手とがユニット化されるとともに、ハブ輪と、ハブ輪の孔部に嵌挿される等速自在継手の外側継手部材の軸部とが凹凸嵌合構造を介して分離可能に結合された車輪用軸受装置であって、
外側継手部材の軸部の外径面とハブ輪の孔部の内径面とのどちらか一方に設けられて軸方向に延びる凸部を、軸方向に沿って他方に圧入し、他方に凸部に密着嵌合する凹部を凸部にて形成して、凸部と凹部との嵌合接触部位全域が密着する前記凹凸嵌合構造を構成し、かつこの凹凸嵌合構造は軸方向の引き抜き力付与による分離を許容し、外側継手部材の軸部圧入状態では、前記ハブ輪と外側継手部材の軸部とが、外側継手部材の軸部端部に設けたねじ孔とこのねじ孔に螺合するボルト部材とを有する装置軸心上のボルト結合手段を介して固定されるとともに、分離後の再圧入時にはボルト結合手段によるボルト締付けによって圧入され、再圧入時における前記ボルト結合手段への過大な軸力発生でボルト部材が先行破損する強度最弱部をボルト部材に設けたことを特徴とする車輪用軸受装置。 - 外側継手部材の軸部圧入ガイド部を凸部圧入開始側に設けたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記外側継手部材は、内側継手部材が内装されるマウス部と、このマウス部の底部から突設される前記軸部とを備え、ハブ輪の端部が加締られてその加締部にてハブ輪に外嵌される転がり軸受の内輪を固定するとともに、加締部と、これに相対面する外側継手部材の対向面とを接触させたことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記ハブ輪の加締部と、これに相対面する外側継手部材の対向面との間、または前記ボルト結合手段のボルト部材の座面と、この座面を受ける受け面との間の少なくとも一方にシール材を介在させたことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 外側継手部材の軸部に前記凹凸嵌合構造の凸部を設けるとともに、少なくともこの凸部の軸方向端部の硬度をハブ輪の孔部内径部よりも高くして、前記軸部をハブ輪の孔部に凸部の軸方向端部側から圧入することによって、この凸部にてハブ輪の孔部内径面に凸部に密着嵌合する凹部を形成して、前記凹凸嵌合構造を構成することを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- ハブ輪の孔部の内径面の内径寸法を、外側継手部材の軸部に設けた複数の凸部の頂点を結ぶ円弧の最大直径寸法よりも小さく、前記軸部の凸部間の凹部を結ぶ円弧の最大直径寸法よりも大きく設定したことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- ハブ輪の孔部の内径面に前記凹凸嵌合構造の凸部を設けるとともに、少なくともこの凸部の軸方向端部の硬度を等速自在継手の外側継手部材の軸部の外径部よりも高くして、前
記ハブ輪側の凸部をその軸方向端部側から外側継手部材の軸部に圧入することによって、この凸部にて外側継手部材の軸部の外径面に凸部に密着嵌合する凹部を形成して、前記凹凸嵌合構造を構成することを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の車輪用軸受装置。 - 外側継手部材の軸部の外径寸法を、ハブ輪の孔部に設けた複数の凸部の頂点を結ぶ円弧の最小直径寸法よりも大きくするとともに、前記ハブ輪孔部の凸部間の凹部を結ぶ円弧の最小直径寸法より小さく設定したことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 凸部の突出方向中間部位の周方向厚さの総和を、周方向に隣り合う凸部間に嵌合する相手側の凸部における前記中間部位に対応する位置での周方向厚さの総和よりも小さくしたことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項8のいずれか1項に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 凹凸嵌合構造を、前記転がり軸受の軌道面の避直下位置に配置したことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項9のいずれか1項に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
