Description

The present invention relates to a center rail structure for a slide door of a vehicle that is installed on a rear side surface of a vehicle body and guides the upper and lower intermediate portions when the slide door is opened and closed.

As shown in FIG. 4, the slide door D that opens and closes the door opening K on the side of the vehicle body such as a wagon car has upper and lower rollers R <b> 1 and R <b> 2 provided at the upper and lower ends of the front part of the door, respectively. A quarter roller 1 located behind the door opening K is provided with a center roller R3 that is supported by the upper and lower rails G1 and G2 provided along the edge and the lower edge so as to be freely rollable and provided via an arm member in the middle of the rear part of the door. Is supported by the center rail G3 provided along the road and is guided to move in the opening and closing direction of the vehicle front and rear (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

As shown in FIG. 5, the center roller R3 generally includes a horizontal roller 6a rotatably supported by a vertical axis 61 provided at the tip of an arm member 60 extending in the vehicle interior direction from the upper and lower intermediate positions of the rear portion of the slide door D. It consists of a vertical roller 6b.
On the other hand, the center rail G3 has an inverted U-shape and is composed of a rail upper portion 31 that guides the horizontal roller 6a, a flat rail bottom wall portion 33 that supports the vertical roller 6b, and a vertical wall portion 32 that connects these inside the vehicle. Has a substantially square C-shaped cross section that opens to the outside of the vehicle.
The quarter panel 1 behind the door opening K has a substantially U-shaped cross section extending substantially horizontally along the lower edge of the quarter window opening 10 (FIG. 4) formed in the upper half and opening toward the outside of the vehicle. The concave groove 2 is formed.

The center rail G3 is housed in the concave groove 2, and the vertical wall portion 32 is overlapped with the back surface portion 22 of the concave groove 2, and is fixed by bolting the upper and lower intermediate positions. Reference numeral 36 in FIG. 5 denotes a reinforcing member overlapped with the outer peripheral surface of the rear end portion of the center rail G3, and is fastened to the concave groove 2 integrally with the center rail G3. In addition, the vertical width of the groove 2 is increased in consideration of the press formability of the groove 2, and there is a gap between the upper surface portion 21 of the groove 2 and the rail upper surface.

The center rail G3 is covered with a lower end portion of the quarter window glass 7 that closes the quarter window opening 10. A gap is provided between the lower edge 71 of the lower end of the glass and the lower edge of the opening of the groove 2, and an arm member 60 that holds the rollers 6 a and 6 b is inserted into the gap.

As shown in FIG. 6, when the sliding door D is opened, the upper and lower roller portions R1 and R2 are in contact with the stopper S installed at the rear ends of the upper and lower rails G1 and G2, respectively. The movement of opening is restricted.
By the way, when the opening and closing of the slide door D is repeated, the center rail G3 tends to tilt, and when this tendency proceeds, the roller R3 may come off from the center rail G3.
If the arm member 60 that supports the center roller R3 momentarily moves upward when the slide door D is fully opened, and the setting interval between the arm member 60 and the lower edge 71 of the quarter window glass 7 is small, the arm member 60 May interfere with the quarter window glass 7 and break it.

As a result of repeated research and experiments on the cause of such inconvenience, the inventors have found that the cause is as follows.
As shown in FIG. 6, when the sliding door D is forcibly opened, the upper roller R1 and the lower roller R2 abut against the stopper S and are suddenly stopped, and the sliding door D has the upper roller R1 and the lower roller at the front end thereof. A rotational moment (black arrow M) that rotates the rear part of the door D inward of the vehicle around R2 acts.
Therefore, as shown in FIG. 5, at the rear of the center rail G3, the horizontal roller 6a pushes the rail upper portion 31 toward the vehicle interior (black arrow X), so that the center rail G3 bends the upper portion of the back surface portion 22 of the groove 2. However, as a result, the entire vehicle is turned to the vehicle inner side so that the vehicle outer side is lifted around the joint F with the concave groove 2 (white arrow Y). When the strong opening operation is repeated, the rear end portion of the center rail G3 is gradually inclined.
At this time, the center roller R3 and the center rail G3 are inclined toward the inside of the vehicle, and the arm member 60 that supports the vertical axis 61 whose tip is inclined moves upward (white arrow Z) and approaches the lower edge 71 of the quarter window glass 7. To do.
The center roller R3 tries to return to the original by the reaction that is pressed against the inner surface 22 of the concave groove 2, and the roller guide 34 on the outside of the center rail G3 tilted at this time is lifted upward, so that the horizontal roller 6a The abutting position moves relatively downward, and the hanging amount of the horizontal roller 6a becomes small. When the door opening operation is repeated, the hanging margin gradually decreases, and the horizontal roller 6a may be separated from the center rail G3.

The present invention is based on the above knowledge, and even when the sliding door is forcibly opened repeatedly, there is no possibility that the arm member supporting the center roller interferes with and breaks the lower edge of the quarter window glass, and the center roller. It is an object of the present invention to realize a vehicle center rail structure in which there is no risk of falling off the center rail.

The present invention provides a horizontal center extending substantially along the side of the vehicle body behind the door opening of the vehicle, and having a substantially U-shaped cross-section opening toward the outside of the vehicle. In the center rail structure of a vehicle provided with a center rail that rolls and guides the rollers provided in the section, the center rail has a substantially square C-shaped cross section that opens toward the outside of the vehicle, and the vertical wall portion on the inside of the vehicle Secure to the back of the groove. At the rear end of the rail of the center rail, the space between the upper wall and the upper surface of the concave groove facing the upper wall is spaced from the upper wall of the center rail. A stopper member is provided to suppress the tilting.
Stopper member that closes the upper surface of the concave groove by providing the rear end of the center rail to the vehicle inner side due to the strong opening of the sliding door, even if the upper end of the center rail is closer to the vehicle outer side. Thus, tilting of the center rail can be suppressed.

The stopper member is composed of a hard rubber or synthetic resin block.
Since the stopper member is made of hard rubber or synthetic resin, occurrence of abnormal noise such as vibration noise and scratches on the upper surface portion are suppressed between the upper surface portion of the groove and the vehicle running.

The concave groove is formed along the lower edge of the quarter window opening in a quarter panel of a vehicle body provided with a quarter window opening in the upper part. The roller is supported by the tip of an arm member that extends in the vehicle interior direction from the slide door. The center rail is covered and concealed by a glass lower end portion of the quarter window glass that closes the quarter window opening, and a gap is formed between the lower edge of the glass lower end portion and the opening lower edge of the concave groove. The roller is caused to roll on the center rail through the arm member. The stopper member is provided on the upper wall portion of the rail rear end portion of the center rail.
By suppressing the tilt of the center rail, the posture of the center roller does not change, and thereby the vertical movement of the arm member is suppressed. Therefore, even if the gap through which the arm member is inserted is reduced, the arm member does not interfere with the quarter window glass.

The upper surface portion of the concave groove is formed in a gently inclined shape so that the concave groove opens outwardly toward the vehicle exterior, and the stopper member has an upper end surface that is parallel to the upper surface portion and has a slight gap. And so as to face each other (claim 4).
By providing a slight gap between the upper wall of the groove and the stopper member, the interior of the groove can be completely painted when the vehicle body is electrodeposition coated with the center rail attached. Further, since the upper end surface of the stopper member is formed in parallel with the upper surface portion of the concave groove, the function of suppressing the tilt of the center rail of the stopper member can be effectively exhibited.

The rear end of the rail is provided with a reinforcing member that overlaps and reinforces the outer peripheral surface thereof, and the stopper member is provided on the upper wall portion of the reinforcing member.

An embodiment in which the present invention is applied to the center rail structure of the vehicle shown in FIG. 4 will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 1 is a longitudinal sectional view of a rear end portion of the center rail, and FIG. 2 shows an installation structure of a stopper member at the rear end portion of the center rail.
As shown in FIGS. 4 and 1, the center rail G <b> 3 extends in the front-rear direction along the lower edge of the quarter window opening 10 at the upper and lower intermediate positions of the quarter panel 1 that forms the side of the vehicle body behind the door opening K. .

The quarter panel 1 includes an upper surface portion 21, a lower wall portion 23, and a rear surface portion 22 in which the side edges on the inner side of the vehicle are vertically connected at the center rail mounting position. A character-shaped concave groove 2 is formed. The concave groove 2 has an upper surface portion 21 which is inclined to extend obliquely upward and obliquely upward, and a lower wall portion 23 which extends obliquely downward and outward so that the cross-sectional shape slightly opens outward toward the vehicle exterior. Is formed. The vertical width of the concave groove 2 is set to be larger than the vertical width of the center rail G3.
The center rail G3 rolls a center roller R3 provided at the upper and lower intermediate part of the rear part of the slide door D, and guides the rear part of the slide door D when the door is opened and closed.

As shown in FIG. 1, the center roller R3 is provided at the distal end of an arm member 60 whose base end is fixed to the inner surface of the sliding door and extends toward the inner side of the vehicle. The center roller R3 is formed in a substantially Z-shaped cross section and is horizontally supported at a distal end of an arm member 60 which is formed one step higher than the base end side. And a vertical roller 6b rotatably supported on a horizontal shaft 62 that protrudes horizontally from the front end of the arm member 60 to the vehicle inner side at a position lower than the horizontal roller 6a.

The center rail G3 is made of a metal long rail material and has the same cross-sectional shape over the entire length. The center rail G3 includes an inverted U-shaped rail upper portion 31 for rolling and guiding the horizontal roller 6a, a substantially flat rail bottom wall portion 33 for supporting and rolling the vertical roller 6b below, and an upper portion of the rail. 31 and a vertical wall portion 32 that connects the side edges of the rail bottom wall portion 33 on the inside of the vehicle up and down, and the cross-sectional shape is formed in a substantially square C shape that opens toward the outside of the vehicle.
The rail bottom wall 33 is provided with a covering member 35 having an approximately L-shaped cross section extending from the vertical wall 32 side to the vehicle outer side so as to form a roller rolling surface.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the rear end portion of the center rail G3 has a substantially square C-shaped reinforcing section so as to overlap the outer peripheral surfaces of the rail upper portion 31, the vertical wall portion 32, and the rail bottom wall portion 33. A member 36 is provided. The reinforcing member 36 has a predetermined length along the front-rear direction of the rear end portion of the center rail G3, and the length is set to about 10 cm.

The upper wall portion 37 of the reinforcing member 36 overlaps with the upper surface portion of the center rail G3 and is formed on a substantially horizontal flat surface. The upper wall portion 37 is provided with a stopper member 5 made of a hard rubber block body in the front-rear direction at a position outside the vehicle. The stopper member 5 has a lower surface bonded to the upper wall portion 37, and the upper end surface 51 of the stopper member 5 is a concave groove having a gently sloping surface whose side edge on the vehicle outer side is slightly higher than the side edge on the vehicle inner side. The upper surface portion 2 of the 2 has a shape. The front-rear width of the stopper member 5 is shorter than the reinforcing member 36.

The center rail G3 is a covering member formed by a bolt member B that penetrates the vertical wall portion 32 of the vertical wall portion 32 by overlapping the vertical wall portion 32 integrally with the vertical wall portion of the reinforcing member 36 on the back surface portion 22 of the concave groove 2. 35 and the reinforcing member 36 are integrally fastened to the vertical wall portion 22 of the groove 2.
In this case, the stopper member 5 installed on the upper wall portion 37 of the rear end portion of the center rail G3 brings the upper end surface 51 into contact with the position on the vehicle outer side of the lower surface of the upper surface portion 21 of the groove 2 so that the upper wall portion 37 is in contact. And the gap between the upper surface portion 21 and the upper surface portion 21.
In addition, the outer edge of the covering member 35 is overlapped with the position of the lower wall portion 23 via the sealing material 351 so as to close the gap between the lower wall portion 23 and the covering member 35.

In addition, in the general part other than the rear end part of the center rail G3, the vertical wall part is directly overlapped and fastened to the back closed part of the groove, and the upper wall part of the rail and the upper wall part of the groove are There is a gap between them.

The center roller R3 inserts the horizontal roller 6a into the rail upper part 31 of the center rail G3, and the roller surface engages with the outer side of the rail upper part 31 and the rail guide part 34 on the inner side of the rail so that it can roll, The vertical roller 6b is installed on the upper surface of the covering member 35 that covers the rail bottom wall portion 33, and is engaged so as to be able to roll along this.

Further, the center rail G3 is covered with a lower edge 71 extended downward from the quarter window glass 7 that integrally closes the quarter window opening 10 (FIG. 4) with the concave groove 2. There is a vertical gap between the lower edge 71 of the quarter window glass 7 and the lower edge of the opening of the groove 2, and the arm member 60 of the center roller R <b> 3 is inserted through this gap.

When the sliding door is fully opened by the forcible opening operation, if a rotational moment M (see FIG. 6) that moves the rear portion of the sliding door to the inside of the vehicle is generated, the center roller R3 is placed horizontally at the rear end of the center rail G3. A force (black arrow X in FIG. 1) that pushes the roller 6a to the rail guide portion 34 on the vehicle inner side of the rail upper portion 31 acts on the vehicle inner side, whereby the center rail G3 causes the coupling portion F with the concave groove 2 to move. The outside of the vehicle is lifted as the center, and the vehicle is turned to the inside to try to tilt.

According to the present embodiment, the stopper member 5 is provided on the upper wall portion 37 of the rear end portion of the center rail G3, and the stopper member 5 is packed in the gap between the upper wall portion 37 and the upper surface portion 21 of the concave groove 2. The stopper member 5 and the upper surface portion 21 of the concave groove 2 are supported, and the tilt of the center rail G3 can be suppressed. In particular, since the stopper member 5 is provided at a position outside the vehicle on the upper wall portion 37, the tilt of the center rail G3 can be efficiently suppressed. Therefore, since the positional relationship of the horizontal roller 6a with respect to the center rail G3 does not change, the center roller R3 does not fall off.

By suppressing the tilt of the center rail G3, the posture of the vertical axis 61 that supports the horizontal roller 6a and is coupled to the tip of the arm member 60 does not change, so the arm member 60 moves upward when the sliding door is forcibly opened. Therefore, there is no possibility that the arm member 60 hits the lower edge 71 of the quarter window glass 7 and breaks it. Therefore, the gap between the lower edge 71 of the quarter window glass 7 and the lower edge of the opening of the concave groove 2 can be made as narrow as possible, and the gap is not conspicuous and the appearance can be improved.

FIG. 3 shows another embodiment of the present invention. The structure of this embodiment includes an upper end surface 51 of the stopper member 5 provided on the upper wall portion 37 of the rear end portion of the center rail G3, and the groove 2 The upper surface portion 21 is opposed to the upper surface portion 21 with a slight gap E. The upper end surface 51 of the stopper member 5 is parallel to the lower surface of the upper surface portion 21 of the concave groove 2, and the distance between them is set to 2 mm or less. The other basic structure is the same as that of the particular embodiment.

Generally, in a vehicle production line, a vehicle body is subjected to electrodeposition coating with a center rail assembled. In this case, when the stopper member 5 is in contact with the upper surface portion 21 of the concave groove 2, the coating of the upper surface portion 21 is incomplete. By providing the gap E between the stopper member 5 and the upper surface portion 21 according to this embodiment, the groove 2 can be completely painted.

When the sliding door is forcibly opened, the same effects as those of the previous embodiment are exhibited, and the tilt of the center rail G3 can be suppressed. Compared to the previous embodiment, in this embodiment, the center rail G3 tilts as much as the gap is provided between the stopper member 5 and the upper surface portion 21 of the concave groove 2, but the deformation is small. It does not affect the effect of preventing the center roller R3 from falling off the center rail G3 and the effect of preventing the quarter window glass from being damaged.
Further, since the stopper member 5 has the upper end surface 51 formed in parallel with the upper surface portion 21 of the concave groove 2, the tilt of the center rail G <b> 3 is efficiently received by the upper surface portion 21 of the concave groove 2 through the stopper member 5.

In general, the rear end portion of the center rail is often provided with a reinforcing member. In the embodiment of the present invention, the stopper member 5 is provided on the upper surface of the reinforcing member 36. However, the present invention is not limited to this. In a vehicle type in which no member is provided, a stopper member may be provided directly on the upper surface of the center rail.
