Abstract
【解決手段】炭素繊維の露出部を有する炭素繊維強化プラスチック表面に金属皮膜を形成して炭素繊維の脱落を防止する方法を採用する。そして、前記金属皮膜は、工程A:炭素繊維強化プラスチックを表面処理し、炭素繊維強化プラスチックの表面を粗化する粗化処理工程、及び、工程B:工程Aで得られた炭素繊維強化プラスチックの表面に無電解めっき法を用いて金属皮膜を形成する無電解めっき工程を経て形成する。また、必要に応じて、前記金属皮膜に機械加工を施す。

Claims (9)
- 炭素繊維の露出部を有する炭素繊維強化プラスチックから炭素繊維の脱落を防止する方法において、
当該炭素繊維強化プラスチック表面に金属皮膜を形成することで炭素繊維の脱落を防止することを特徴とする炭素繊維強化プラスチックからの炭素繊維の脱落防止方法。 - 前記金属皮膜は、以下の工程A及び工程Bを経て形成するものである請求項1に記載の炭素繊維強化プラスチックからの炭素繊維の脱落防止方法。
工程A: 炭素繊維強化プラスチックを表面処理し、炭素繊維強化プラスチックの表面を粗化する粗化処理工程。
工程B: 工程Aで得られた炭素繊維強化プラスチックの表面に無電解めっき法を用いて金属皮膜を形成する無電解めっき工程。 - 前記工程Aの表面処理は、物理的表面処理及び化学的表面処理のいずれか一方又は双方を用いるものである請求項1又は請求項2に記載の炭素繊維強化プラスチックからの炭素繊維の脱落防止方法。
- 前記工程Bは、金属皮膜として厚さが1μm〜500μmのニッケル皮膜を形成するものである請求項1〜請求項3のいずれかに記載の炭素繊維強化プラスチックからの炭素繊維の脱落防止方法。
- 工程Cとして、前記工程Bで形成された金属皮膜表面に電気めっき法により電気めっき金属皮膜を形成する工程を付加した請求項1〜請求項4のいずれかに記載の炭素繊維強化プラスチックからの炭素繊維の脱落防止方法。
- 前記工程Cは、電気めっき金属皮膜として厚さが4μm〜500μmのニッケル皮膜を形成するものである請求項5に記載の炭素繊維強化プラスチックからの炭素繊維の脱落防止方法。
- 工程Dとして、前記工程C及び/又は工程Bで形成された金属皮膜を機械加工する工程を付加した請求項1〜請求項6のいずれかに記載の炭素繊維強化プラスチックからの炭素繊維の脱落防止方法。
- 前記工程Dは、前記機械加工として切削加工又は研磨加工のいずれか一方又は双方を用いるものである請求項7に記載の炭素繊維強化プラスチックからの炭素繊維の脱落防止方法。
- 請求項1〜請求項8のいずれかに記載の炭素繊維強化プラスチックからの炭素繊維脱落防止方法を用いて得られる金属被覆炭素繊維強化プラスチック。
