Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a window regulator that opens and closes a window of a vehicle, particularly an automobile. More particularly, the present invention relates to an improvement of an inner cable extension mechanism in a lower end drive type window regulator.
A general window regulator has a form as shown in FIG. 8 as disclosed in Patent Document 1, for example. The
The
Patent Document 4 discloses a lower end drive type window regulator in which a cable drive device is fixed to the lower end of a guide rail. This window regulator has a longer vertical dimension than a window regulator (see Patent Documents 1 to 3) in which the cable driving device is provided separately from the guide rail, but an outer casing is not required, and the lower end of the guide rail There is an advantage that the direction changing member on the side becomes unnecessary. In addition, there are few places where the automobile door is attached to the inner panel.
However, since this window regulator does not include an outer casing, it is not possible to employ a method of energizing the outer casing to take out the inner cable. Therefore, the cable ends of the inner cable for raising and lowering connected to the carrier plate are slidably provided on the carrier plate, respectively, and the cable ends are pulled in the direction in which the inner cable is pulled (the length of the inner cable is shortened). A pair of upper and lower extension mechanisms are configured so as to be biased by a spring in the direction (see FIG. 5 of Patent Document 4).
On the other hand, Patent Document 5 points out the problem that in the lower end drive type window regulator, when a guide rail that guides the curved glass is used, the inner cable is easily detached from the guide groove of the guide pulley at the upper end of the guide rail. A bracket is provided in the middle of the guide rail, and it is proposed to provide a guide member (relay device) that slidably supports the return side of the inner cable. This guide member has no particular stretch function.
Patent Document 6 proposes a window regulator that employs an outer casing and is configured such that a braided layer of metal wire is provided on the upper portion of the outer casing so that it is difficult to cut from the outside.
Since the lower end drive type window regulator of Patent Document 4 is provided with the extending mechanism of the rising and lowering inner cables concentrically on the carrier plate, a space sufficient to absorb the extension of the inner cable cannot be secured. Further, securing the space leads to an increase in the size of the carrier plate, which increases the weight, reduces the glass lifting / lowering stroke amount, or lowers the rigidity of the carrier plate. On the other hand, if the position of the stretcher is shifted to the left or right, rotational force is applied to the carrier plate, which is not preferable. An object of the present invention is to make it possible to sufficiently absorb the elongation of the inner cable without increasing the size of the carrier plate in the lower end drive type window regulator.
Further, when a guide rail that is curved by a window regulator of the lower end drive system is adopted, there is a problem pointed out by Patent Document 5, that is, there is a problem that the inner cable is easily detached from the upper end direction changing member. Is also a technical issue to solve this problem.
The window regulator of the present invention (Claim 1) includes a guide rail, a cable direction changing member provided at the upper end of the guide rail, a cable driving device provided at the lower end of the guide rail, the direction changing member and the cable. An inner cable routed in a loop between the drive devices, a guide plate that can be raised and lowered by the guide rail, a carrier plate that is connected to the inner cable and holds a window glass, and a middle of the guide rail An outer casing that guides the inner cable so that the bracket is provided and the upper end is held by the direction changing member or the vicinity thereof, the lower end is held by the bracket, and is routed along a curved path. And the direction change member, the vicinity thereof or the outer bracket held by the bracket. The end of the over the casing, is characterized in that it comprises a biasing means for biasing in a direction to increase the wiring length.
In such a window regulator, it is preferable that the outer end holding the lower end of the outer casing is held movably up and down with respect to the bracket, and the urging means urges the outer end upward. Item 2). Further, it is preferable that the upper end of the outer casing is held laterally or obliquely downward with respect to the direction changing member or the vicinity thereof (Claim 3).
The inner cable has one end locked to the carrier plate, extends upward along the guide rail, is redirected by the direction changing member, is guided by the outer casing, extends downward via the bracket, and the other end Is lifted and locked to the cable drive drum, and one end is locked to the carrier plate, extends downward along the guide rail, and the other end is wound to the cable drive drum. A lower inner cable to be locked, and one end of the lower inner cable is locked to the carrier plate via a second biasing means for biasing the lower inner cable in a pulling direction. (4).
In the window regulator according to the present invention (Claim 1), the direction changing member or the vicinity thereof or the end of the outer casing held by the bracket is urged by the urging means in the direction of increasing the wiring length of the outer casing. Therefore, an extension mechanism is formed in the direction changing member or in the vicinity thereof or the bracket. As a result, when the inner cable extends and loosens, the outer casing is biased by the biasing means so as to be pushed out of the holding portion. And since an outer casing curves, a routing route becomes long smoothly. Thereby, the extension of the inner cable guided by the outer casing can be absorbed and the tension can be recovered.
Further, in the window regulator according to the present invention, since the extension mechanism is provided in the bracket or the direction changing member or in the vicinity thereof, a sufficient space can be taken compared with the case where it is provided in the carrier plate, and the inner cable is sufficiently extended. Can be absorbed into.
Moreover, since the inner cable which comes out of the direction change member of an upper end is guided by an outer casing, there is little possibility that it will remove | deviate from a direction change member. Furthermore, since the upper part of the inner cable is covered with the outer casing, there is less risk of being cut than when it is exposed.
In such a window regulator, the outer end holding the lower end of the outer casing is held so as to be movable up and down with respect to the bracket, and the biasing means biases the outer end upward (Claim 2). Can take up sufficient space for the outer end to move up and down, and more reliably absorb the elongation of the inner cable.
When the upper end of the outer casing is held laterally or obliquely downward with respect to the direction changing member or the vicinity thereof (Claim 3), the outer casing extends laterally or obliquely downward from the vicinity of the upper end of the guide rail. It bends so that it approaches the side (curvature radius is small) and then bends so that it is parallel to the guide rail (curvature radius is large). Therefore, the curved path by the outer casing becomes smooth. Further, when the extension mechanism is provided on the bracket, the counter reaction force received by the outer end from the outer casing is reduced, and the outer end slides smoothly.
The inner cable has one end locked to the carrier plate, extends upward along the guide rail, is redirected by the direction changing member, is guided by the outer casing, extends downward via the bracket, and the other end is cable Inner cable for raising that is wound and locked on the drum of the driving device, one end is locked to the carrier plate, extends downward along the guide rail, and the other end is wound and locked on the drum of the cable driving device The inner cable for lowering, and one end of the lowering inner cable is locked to the carrier plate via the second biasing means for biasing the lowering inner cable in the pulling direction. (Claim 4) is the extension of the inner cable for raising the extension of the direction changing member or its vicinity or the bracket. Structure to absorb, the elongation of the descending inner cable elongation absorption mechanism of the carrier plate is absorbed. Therefore, it is possible to absorb the elongation of the inner cable with a good balance. In addition, since the extension absorption mechanism of the carrier plate only needs to take the extension of the lowering inner cable, there is a sufficient space.
Next, an embodiment of the window regulator of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. 1 is a front view showing an embodiment of the window regulator of the present invention, FIG. 2 is a side view of a guide rail of the window regulator, FIG. 3 is a sectional view taken along line III-III in FIG. 1, and FIG. FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view taken along line VV in FIG. 1, FIG. 6 is a bottom view before assembling the cable driving device in FIG. 1, and FIG. 7a is before assembling the lift extension mechanism in FIG. FIG. 7B is a longitudinal sectional view after assembling the ascending extension mechanism, and FIG. 7C is a sectional view before assembling the ascending extension mechanism.
A
Further, in the
The
The
As shown in FIG. 4, at the side edge of the upper end plate 19 (the right side in FIG. 4 and the left side in FIG. 1), a cut for locking the outer joint (casing cap) 23 fixed to the upper end of the
The
As shown in FIG. 3, the
Further, the cable
That is, the cable
The
In the descending
As shown in FIG. 4, the
As shown in FIG. 6, the
An extension mechanism (upward extension mechanism) 44 for the rising
The
The
A
As shown in FIG. 7 c, the
The ascending

Further, in the
In the
In the embodiment, the ascending
In the above-described embodiment, the lowering
