曲タイトル，アーティスト名，演奏時間および波形特徴部分よりなる楽曲データを多数記録した楽曲データベースを格納したＣＤデータベース記憶領域を、内部または通信回線で接続された外部に有し、再生されるべき任意の楽曲の特徴波形情報が抽出された場合、該特徴波形情報で前記ＣＤデータベース記憶領域中を検索して対応の楽曲データを取り込むカーオーディオ装置において、
曲タイトル，アーティスト名および歌詞ファイルよりなる歌詞データを多数記録した歌詞データベースを格納した歌詞データベース記憶領域を設け、
前記取り込まれた楽曲データにより前記歌詞データベースを検索し、楽曲データを構成する項目が所定数以上一致した場合に、一致した歌詞データを取り込む歌詞データ検索手段と、
取り込んだ歌詞データの歌詞を、楽曲の再生に対応して表示手段に表示する表示制御手段と、
