Description

The present invention relates to an ingrown nail corrector that can easily correct an ingrown nail without surgery.

An ingrown nail is a generalized disease in which the tip and side edges of the nail plate bite into the surrounding soft tissue, causing pain, inflammation, infection, suppuration, granulation tissue formation, etc. It is. The main cause of the ingrown nail is incorrect overcutting of the nail (deep nail), which originates from the nail margin, corners, nail bites and partial nail defects caused by the deep nail.
Surgical treatment methods (gutter method, acrylic artificial nail method, etc.) are effective methods for treating ingrown nails. However, the above-mentioned surgical treatment method requires surgery by a doctor for the invaginated portion, is painful due to surgery, and is expensive to operate. Therefore, it cannot be said that it is a method that can be easily received by humans suffering from ingrown nails. .
Recently, various ingrown nail correction tools have been proposed in which a person who has an ingrown nail can easily correct the ingrown nail without surgery.
For example, JP-A-8-215227 (Patent Document 1) is made of a shape memory alloy or a shape memory resin material, bends along the surface shape of the nail plate at room temperature, and deforms into a memory shape by heating (for example, The ingrown nail correction tool is described as being a long plate-like body that is deformed so as to flatten or warp, and is attached to the surface of the nail plate with an adhesive.
JP-A-8-215227

In FIG. 11, the top view of an example of the ingrown nail correction tool 1 of the prior art described in patent document 1 is shown. The ingrown nail corrector 1 of FIG. 11 is made of a shape memory alloy or a shape memory resin, and is, for example, a substantially rectangular one having a length of 15 mm, a width of 3 mm, and a thickness of 0.2 mm. The ingrown nail corrector 1 is curved in a bow shape in accordance with the surface shape of the nail plate as shown in FIG. 12 at room temperature, but the shape is memorized so that it can be flattened or reversed by heating. .
In use, as shown in FIG. 13, the adhesive 4 is applied to the surface of the ingrown nail 3 of the mother toe 2, and then the ingrown nail correction tool 1 is inserted into the indented nail 3 as shown in FIG. 14. Adhesive 4 is stuck on the surface of the nail 3 so that there is no gap, and the whole is lightly pressed from the upper side and held until the adhesive 13 is dried and completely adhered.
In such a state, when warm air is blown by a dryer or the like up to a predetermined temperature at which a predetermined shape is stored in advance, or when warmed by hot water during bathing, the shape memory alloy or the shape memory resin material regains the memory, and the predetermined flatness or Attempts to restore the warped shape. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 15, the ingrown nail corrector 1 generates a force to restore the ingrown nail corrector 1 in the direction of the arrow in the figure, and the ingrown nail 3 is bent at its edge. It is pulled to warp in the opposite direction to the shape. By maintaining such an applied state of force for a predetermined time or by repeatedly heating to a predetermined temperature, as shown in FIG. 16, a portion 5 (an indented portion) to be corrected of the ingrown nail 3 of the mother toe 2 Will gradually be corrected.

However, the ingrown nail corrector shown in Patent Document 1 has various problems as exemplified below.
1) In FIG. 16, the portions 5 (indentations) to be corrected exist on both the left and right sides of the ingrown nail 3 in the figure. Accordingly, in FIG. 15, it is effective to correct the portion 5 to be corrected of the ingrown nail 3 out of the force for restoring the ingrown nail corrector 1 in the direction of the arrow in FIG. 15 (the restoring force of the ingrown nail corrector 1). The main force (ingrown nail correction force) is mainly a force acting on the left and right sides of the ingrown nail 3 in the figure. However, when the ingrown nail corrector 1 is attached to the surface of the ingrown nail 3 using the adhesive 4 as shown in FIG. 14, the restoring force acts on the entire ingrown nail corrector 1. The restoring force of the ingrown nail corrector 1 cannot be concentrated on the portion 5 to be corrected, and the restoring force cannot be used effectively. Further, in order for the ingrown nail corrector 1 to exhibit a sufficient restoring force, it is necessary to heat the ingrown nail corrector 1 to a predetermined temperature in which a predetermined shape is stored in advance. Tool 1 has poor ingrown nail correction power at room temperature.
2) As shown in FIG. 14, the ingrown nail corrector 1 seals the sticking portion on the surface of the ingrown nail 3 and deteriorates air permeability, which is not preferable in terms of maintaining nail health. In addition, since the ingrown nail correction tool 1 is attached to an area other than the invaginated portion on the surface of the ingrown nail 3, the adhesive is widely applied to the surface of the ingrown nail 3. There is a risk that the health of the nail may be impaired by an adhesive or an organic solvent contained in the adhesive.
3) The size of the ingrown nail can be variously changed. In the ingrown nail correction tool 1 as shown in FIG. 1, a plurality of types of sizes (sizes in the left-right direction in the drawing) are prepared in advance. There is a need. Further, when there is no suitable size of the ingrown nail corrector 1, it is possible to finely adjust the size of the ingrown nail corrector 1 (for example, by cutting or the like. Have difficulty.
Therefore, it is effective for correcting the ingrown nail, can maintain the health of the nail, can be adjusted according to the size of the ingrown nail, and can easily correct the ingrown nail without surgery. There is a strong need for ingrown nail correctors.

The present invention is for solving the problems of the prior art, and the object of the present invention is to effectively apply a force for correcting the place where the ingrown nail should be corrected at room temperature. It is possible to maintain the air permeability of the surface of the ingrown nail to maintain the health of the nail, and adjust the application form (for example, the fixing position of the adhesive fixing portion) according to the size of the ingrown nail. An object of the present invention is to provide an ingrown nail correction tool that allows a person suffering from an ingrown nail to easily correct the ingrown nail by himself without performing surgery at a doctor.

That is, the ingrown nail correction tool of the present invention includes a plurality of supports that are arranged and stuck on the surface of the nail plate of the ingrown nail, and an elastic body that is attached to the plurality of supports so as to span between them An ingrown nail corrector consisting of
The support includes a double-sided support that is attached to locations to be corrected at both ends of the nail plate of the ingrown nail,
The elastic body is made of a shape memory material in which a linear shape or a shape curved in a direction opposite to the bending direction of the nail plate of the ingrown nail is stored as a memory shape at room temperature,
As the shape memory material, a shape memory alloy or a shape memory resin can be used.
It is preferable that the support further includes a central support attached between the two side supports.
In the ingrown nail correction tool of the present invention, it is preferable that the projectile is plate-shaped and memorized in a shape that is curved in a direction opposite to the curving direction of the nail plate of the ingrown nail.
The ingrown nail corrector of the present invention is preferably attached and arranged on the surface of the nail plate using a biocompatible adhesive. When preparing an ingrown nail corrector combination including the ingrown nail corrector of the present invention and a biocompatible adhesive capable of sticking a support body of the ingrown nail corrector to the surface of the nail plate, Convenient to use.

Compared with the conventional ingrown nail corrector shown in Patent Document 1, the ingrown nail corrector of the present invention has various effects as exemplified below.
1) Since the elastic body is held on the surface of the nail plate of the ingrown nail using the support as a fulcrum, the restoring force (ingrown nail correction force) of the elastic body is concentrated on the place where the ingrown nail should be corrected. The ingrown nail can be effectively corrected. In addition, since a sufficient restoring force of the elastic body (ingrown nail correction force) can be obtained at room temperature, it is not necessary to heat the elastic body adhered to the ingrown nail to a predetermined temperature.
2) Since the elastic body is held on the surface of the nail plate of the ingrown nail via the support, a space is formed on the surface of the nail plate of the ingrown nail. Is maintained well, it is difficult for bacteria to propagate, and nail health is maintained.
3) Depending on the size of the ingrown nail, the spacing and number of the supports, the size, shape, number, and transverse elastic modulus of the elastic body can be adjusted and / or changed. It can be applied to ingrown ingrown nails and has a wide application range.

The support used for the ingrown nail correction tool of the present invention is made of a suitable material, for example, a synthetic resin such as general-purpose plastic (for example, ABS resin, methacrylic resin), general-purpose engineering plastic (for example, polyacetal, polyamide, polycarbonate, polyethylene terephthalate). Etc.), super engineering plastics (for example, polyamideimide), fiber reinforced plastics (for example, carbon fiber reinforced plastics), plastic laminates, rubbers, etc., are used alone or in appropriate combination.
The support body may be only the double-sided support body. However, if the central support body is further provided in addition to the double-sided support body, the central support body serves as a fulcrum of the center of the elastic body. (Correction force) can be used more effectively. The central support is stuck between the two supports. For example, if the center support is attached to the center of two side supports, a fulcrum is formed at the center of the two side supports, and effective use of the restoring force (ingrown nail correction force) of the elastic body is achieved. Although preferable, it is not limited to this.
The size and shape of the support (both side support and center support) are appropriately selected according to the size and shape of the ingrown nail to be corrected. The number of supports is not particularly limited, but usually, for example, two pairs of left and right supports attached to the place to be corrected of the nail plate of the ingrown nail and the center of the nail plate of the ingrown nail It may consist of one center part support body stuck on. When the ingrown nail is small (for example, other than the nail of the thumb), only two left and right side supports that are attached to the portion to be corrected of the nail plate of the ingrown nail may be used.
The surface to be attached to the surface of the nail plate of the support body, i.e., the bottom of the support body, should have a curved shape along the surface of the nail plate so that it can be firmly attached to the surface of the nail plate. preferable.
The support body is provided with attachment means for attaching an elastic body between the support bodies. The attachment means is not particularly limited. For example, a through hole is provided in the support body so that the elastic body can be disposed therethrough, or the support body is formed so that the support body can be divided, and the elastic body is passed over (or below) the dividing surface of the support body. Then, the split surfaces may be aligned and the elastic body may be fixed to the support. Furthermore, you may provide the groove | channel which can insert and latch an elastic body in a support body.

The material, size and shape of the elastic body are not particularly limited. The shape of the elastic body may be, for example, a rod shape, a plate shape, or a combination shape thereof. The size and shape of the elastic body are appropriately selected in consideration of the size of the ingrown nail to be corrected. The number of elastic bodies is not limited. When using a some elastic body, you may use it combining a rod-shaped and plate-shaped elastic body.
The material of the elastic body is not particularly limited as long as it is a shape memory material. The elastic body needs to apply sufficient tension to the ingrown nail continuously at normal temperature during the correction period at the normal temperature, so that it has a stable elasticity at room temperature that does not decrease much during the correction period, especially the transverse elastic modulus. It is necessary to have. For example, the elastic body may be a shape memory alloy or a shape memory resin.
Examples of the shape memory resin include general shape memory resins such as polyester, polyurethane, styrene / butadiene copolymer, polynorbornene, and trans polyisoprene.
Shape memory alloys are preferred because they generally have higher elasticity than shape memory resins.
Examples of the shape memory alloy include a Ni—Ti alloy, a Ni—Ti—Co alloy, a Ni—Ti—Cu alloy, and the like. Ni—Ti—Co alloys are particularly preferable because they have a higher transverse elastic modulus than other shape memory alloys.
The transverse elastic modulus of the shape memory alloy is determined when the shape memory is to be heated (the shape memory alloy is in the austenite phase) and when it is cooled to room temperature (room temperature) (the shape memory alloy is in the martensite phase). In general, the transverse elastic modulus during heating is approximately twice the transverse elastic modulus during cooling to room temperature.
The shape memory alloy that can be used for the ingrown nail corrector of the present invention is, for example, a shape memory alloy having a transverse elastic modulus of 8000 MPa to 40000 MPa in the austenite phase and / or a transverse elastic modulus of 4000 MPa to 20000 MPa in the martensite phase.
When the ingrown nail correction tool of the present invention is once attached to the ingrown nail, for example, it is not necessary to remove it during bathing or at bedtime. During use of the ingrown nail correction tool of the present invention, the ingrown nail is corrected with a shape memory material having a transverse elastic modulus at room temperature. On the other hand, the ingrown nail is corrected with a shape memory material having a larger transverse elastic modulus during bathing, at bedtime, or in some cases, for example, when heated with a dryer. Moreover, when shape memory material is made to memorize | store shape, it is necessary to bend | fold the shape memory material of the transverse elastic modulus at the time of a heating to a predetermined shape. Therefore, as for the transverse elastic modulus of the shape memory material used in the ingrown nail correction tool of the present invention, the transverse elastic modulus of the austenite phase, martensite phase, austenite phase and martensite phase is taken into consideration as necessary.
If the transverse elastic modulus of the austenite phase is less than 8000 MPa and / or the transverse elastic modulus of the martensite phase is less than 4000 MPa, sufficient elasticity to correct the ingrown nail while using the ingrown nail corrector of the present invention. I can't get power.
Further, when the transverse elastic modulus of the austenite phase exceeds 40000 MPa and / or the transverse elastic modulus of the martensite phase exceeds 20000 MPa, excessive elasticity may be applied to the ingrown nail during use of the ingrown nail correction tool of the present invention. Power is granted.

The ingrown nail corrector of the present invention uses a suitable adhesive to align the support on the surface of the nail plate of the ingrown nail and stick it to the surface of the nail plate. Any adhesive can be used as long as it can resist the resilience of the shape memory alloy during use of the ingrown nail corrector of the present invention and is not harmful to the living body. It is preferable to use an amine-based biocompatible adhesive.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the drawings. In the following examples, a shape memory alloy is used as the shape memory material, but a shape memory resin can also be used.
Example 1 (Production Example):
In FIG. 1, the perspective view of Example 1 of the ingrown nail correction tool of this invention is shown. The ingrown nail correction tool 6 of FIG. 1 includes both side supports 7 and 8, a center part support 9, and a single elastic body 10 disposed through the both side supports 7 and 8 and the center part support 9. Consists of. The both-side supports 7 and 8, the center support 9 and the elastic body 10 are individually formed, and FIG. 1 shows the assembled state. The both side supports 7 and 8 and the center support 9 are made of, for example, polycarbonate or ABS resin, and are provided with circular holes 11, 12, and 13 for allowing the elastic body 10 to pass therethrough. Moreover, the bottom parts 14, 15 and 16 of the both-side supports 7 and 8 and the center support 9 are respectively curved so as to follow the surface shape of the nail plate. The sizes and shapes of the side supports 7 and 8 and the center support 9 are appropriately selected according to the size and shape of the ingrown nail to be corrected (for example, in this example, both are quadrangular pyramids). The upper surface end may be rounded so that the upper surface end is not easily caught on shoes or socks.
In this example, the elastic body 10 is a rod-shaped body having a single circular cross section. The diameter of the elastic body 10 is, for example, 0.2 mm to 1.0 mm, and a diameter of 0.4 mm to 0.6 mm is usually used for adult mothers. The length of the elastic body 10 is appropriately selected according to the size and shape of the ingrown nail to be corrected. For example, in use, the length of the elastic body 10 is slightly larger on the right side of the side support 7 and the left side of the side support 8 in the figure. It is good to have a length. The material of the elastic body 10 is, for example, a Ni—Ti alloy or a Ni—Ti—Co alloy having an austenite phase transverse elastic modulus of 20000 MPa to 27000 MPa and / or a martensite phase transverse elastic modulus of 8000 MPa to 11000 MPa.
In this example, the both side supports 7, 8 and the center support 9 are separate bodies. For example, the both side supports 7, 8 or the upper surfaces of the side supports 7, 8 and the center support 9 are previously flexible. If they are bonded to each other with a suitable bridging material (for example, a thin resin film or a resin sheet), the side supports 7, 8 or the side supports 7, 8 and the center support 9 do not fall apart. Moreover, it becomes difficult for these upper surface edge parts to be caught by shoes or socks.

Example 2 (Production Example):
In FIG. 2, the perspective view of the ingrown nail correction tool 17 of Example 2 of this invention is shown. The ingrown nail corrector 17 of the second embodiment is a plate-like body in which the elastic body 18 has a single rectangular cross section, and the holes 19, 20, and 21 are rectangular holes. This is the same as the nail corrector 6. The elastic body 18 is, for example, a substantially rectangular parallelepiped having a length of 10 to 18 mm, a width of 1 to 4 mm, and a thickness of 0.1 to 0.3 mm.
In the ingrown nail correction tool 17 of the second embodiment, the elastic body 18 is a plate-like body, and for example, a shape curved in a direction opposite to the bending direction of the nail plate of the ingrown nail is stored as the elastic body 18. If a shape memory alloy is used, compared with the ingrown nail correction tool 6 of Example 1 using a shape memory alloy (rod-like elastic body 10) in which the horizontal shape is memorized, a stronger ingrown nail correction force is obtained. Can be obtained.

Example 3 (Production Example):
In FIG. 3, the perspective view of the ingrown nail correction tool 22 of Example 3 of this invention is shown. The ingrown nail corrector 22 of Example 3 is the same as the ingrown nail corrector 6 of Example 1 except that two elastic bodies 10 are used. The ingrown nail corrector 22 according to the third embodiment uses two elastic bodies 10, and has a larger elasticity than the ingrown nail corrector 6 according to the first embodiment that uses one elastic body 10. Sexuality (stronger ingrown nail correction power) can be obtained. If necessary, three or more elastic bodies 10 can be used.

Example 4 (Production Example):
In FIG. 4, the perspective view of the ingrown nail correction tool 23 of Example 3 of this invention is shown. The ingrown nail corrector 23 of Example 4 is the same as the ingrown nail corrector 17 of Example 2 except that two elastic bodies 18 are used. The ingrown nail corrector 23 according to the fourth embodiment uses two elastic bodies 18, and thus has a larger elasticity than the ingrown nail corrector 17 according to the second embodiment that uses one elastic body 18. Sexuality (stronger ingrown nail correction power) can be obtained. If necessary, three or more elastic bodies 18 can be used.
When three or more elastic bodies are used, for example, elastic bodies having different shapes may be combined, for example, the elastic body 10 and the elastic body 18 may be used in combination.

<Various forms of shape memory in a plate-like elastic body>
FIG. 5 shows various plate-like elastic bodies whose shape is memorized. The elastic body 24 shown in FIG. 5 (a) is a plate shape memory (Example 2 or Example 4).
The elastic body 25 shown in FIG. 5B has a shape memorized in a plate shape curved upward (opposite to the curved shape of the nail plate) in the drawing. For example, when the elastic body 25 is used in the ingrown nail correction tool of Example 2 or Example 4, the elastic body 25 is attached to the support body in a state of being bent in a direction opposite to the curved shape of the nail plate. . The elastic body 25 shown in FIG. 5B has a greater elasticity (a stronger ingrown nail correction force) than the elastic body 24 shown in FIG.
The elastic body 26 shown in FIG. 5C is a plate that is curved upward (in the opposite direction to the curved shape of the nail plate) in the drawing, and whose both ends are further curved upward (in the opposite direction to the curved shape of the nail plate). The shape is memorized in a shape. The elastic body 26 is used in the form of the elastic body 25.
The elastic body 26 shown in FIG. 5C has a larger elasticity (a stronger ingrown nail correction force) than the elastic body 25 shown in FIG. 5B.

<Various embodiments of the support having circular holes>
FIG. 6 shows various aspects of the support in the case of using a rod-shaped body having a single circular cross section as an elastic body in the ingrown nail correction tool of the present invention. In FIG. 6, the center support is described as an example, but the same mode can be applied to both side supports.
FIG. 6A shows that an elastic body 29 is inserted into a hole 28 (through hole) having a circular cross section provided in the central support 27 and an adhesive 30 is used to attach the elastic body to the central support 27 if necessary. This is an example in which 29 is fixed. Since the hole 28 is a through hole, the elastic body 29 can be firmly supported.
FIG. 6B shows an example in which the elastic body 29 is sandwiched between the upper and lower central support bodies 31 and the upper and lower central support bodies 31 and the elastic bodies 29 are fixed with an adhesive 30. The central support 31 divided into two parts in the vertical direction is convenient because it can be clamped and fixed by either a rod-like elastic body or a plate-like elastic body. If a groove having a predetermined shape (for example, a circular cross-section, a U-shaped cross-section or a rectangular cross-section) is provided in advance in the upper and / or lower portions of the central support 31 divided into two parts in the vertical direction, the elastic body is sandwiched.・ Fixing becomes easy.
FIG. 6C shows an example in which a groove 34 having an opening 33 on the upper surface is provided on the center support 32. The elastic body 29 can be easily locked to the center support body 32 by pushing the elastic body 29 downward from the opening 33 and then moving it to the left in the figure. The elastic body 29 can be easily removed from the center support body 32.
FIG. 6D shows an example in which a groove 37 having an opening 36 on the right side surface is provided on the center support 35. The elastic body 29 can be easily locked to the central support 35 by pushing the elastic body 29 from the opening 36 to the left side in the figure and then moving it upward in the figure. The elastic body 29 can also be easily removed from the center support 35.

Example 5 (Production Example):
In FIG. 7, the perspective view of the ingrown nail correction tool 38 of Example 5 of this invention is shown. The ingrown nail corrector 38 of the fifth embodiment is the same as the ingrown nail corrector 17 of the second embodiment shown in FIG. 2 except that the center support 9 is not provided. Since the ingrown nail corrector 38 of the fifth embodiment does not have the center support 9, the distance between the both supports 7 and the both supports 8 can be reduced, and the overall dimensions can be reduced. Therefore, for example, it is suitable for use in the case of a small ingrown nail (for example, an ingrown nail of a finger other than the thumb).

Example 6 (use example):
8-10, the usage method of the ingrown nail correction tool 6 of Example 1 is demonstrated.
As shown in FIG. 8, an adhesive (for example, a biocompatible acrylic adhesive) 39 is applied to the bottom 14 of the both-side support 7, the bottom 15 of the both-side support 8, and the bottom 16 of the center support 9. . Next, as shown in FIG. 9, the double-sided support body 7, the double-sided support body 8, and the center part support body 9 are attached to the ingrown nail 41 of the mother heel 40. At this time, the both-side support body 7 and the both-side support bodies 8 are stuck on the portion 54 (indentation part) to be corrected of the ingrown nail 41, and the center part support body 9 is stuck to the center of the ingrown nail 41. . Thereafter, the elastic body 10 is sequentially inserted into the holes 12, 13 and 11 as indicated by arrows in the figure, and the ingrown nail correction tool 6 is fixed to the ingrown nail 41 as shown in FIG. If this state is maintained, the elastic body 10 gives elastic force in a direction (upward in the figure) to correct the bend to the portion 42 (indentation) to be corrected of the ingrown nail 41, so that the indentation is gradually invaded. The nail 41 is corrected.
The method for attaching and fixing the ingrown nail corrector 6 to the ingrown nail 41 is not limited to the above-described method. For example, at least one of the double-sided support body 7, the double-sided support body 8, and the central part support body 9. After the elastic body 10 is inserted in advance, these supports may be attached and arranged on the ingrown nail 41.
