Abstract
【解決手段】 パティキュレート酸化触媒は、ジルコニウムを主成分とするとともにセリウムおよびイットリウムを除く希土類金属が含まれたジルコニウム系複酸化物と、セリウムを主成分とするとともにセリウムを除く希土類金属またはアルカリ土類金属が含まれたセリウム系複酸化物との少なくとも一つを含有する。

Description
(PM燃焼速度の評価実験)
評価実験のために、パティキュレート酸化触媒に含まれる複酸化物の成分および含有比率を変更した複数のサンプルを調製した。すなわち、DPF3のサンプルとして、ジルコニウム系複酸化物について9種類の実施例、セリウム系複酸化物について10種類の実施例、および4種類の比較例の触媒層表面にそれぞれ模擬PMであるカーボンブラックを堆積させ、これらについて雰囲気温度が590℃におけるカーボン燃焼速度を測定する実験を行った。
まず、各実施例および比較例の調製方法について説明する。
こうして得られた各サンプルにつき、800℃の大気圧条件下で24時間放置するエージング処理を施し、模擬排気ガスを流通させるモデルガス流通触媒評価装置にセットした状態でカーボン燃焼性能評価を調べるカーボン燃焼速度評価実験を行った。
次に、DPF3のパティキュレート酸化触媒中に、ジルコニウム系複酸化物およびセリウム系複酸化物を混合させた複合複酸化物を含有させて、そのときのカーボン燃焼速度の測定実験を行った。

Claims (5)
- ディーゼルエンジンの排気通路に配設され、パティキュレートを燃焼させるための触媒貴金属を有するパティキュレート酸化触媒が設けられたディーゼルパティキュレートフィルタにおいて、
上記パティキュレート酸化触媒は、ジルコニウムを主成分とするとともにセリウムおよびイットリウムを除く希土類金属が含まれたジルコニウム系複酸化物と、セリウムを主成分とするとともにセリウムを除く希土類金属またはアルカリ土類金属が含まれたセリウム系複酸化物との少なくとも一つを含有することを特徴とするディーゼルパティキュレートフィルタ。 - 上記ジルコニウム系複酸化物に含まれる希土類金属は、スカンジウム、ネオジムおよびイッテルビウムから選択される少なくとも一種の金属であることを特徴とする請求項1記載のディーゼルパティキュレートフィルタ。
- セリウム系複酸化物に含まれる希土類金属は、サマリウム、ガドリニウムから選択される少なくとも一種の金属であることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2記載のディーゼルパティキュレートフィルタ。
- セリウム系複酸化物に含まれるアルカリ土類金属は、マグネシウム、カルシウム、ストロンチウム、バリウムから選択される少なくとも一種の金属であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか1項に記載のディーゼルパティキュレートフィルタ。
- 上記ジルコニウム系複酸化物とセリウム系複酸化物との双方を含有し、セリウム系複酸化物が総質量に対して10質量%以上で80質量%以下の割合でジルコニウム系複酸化物と混合されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項4のいずれか1項に記載のディーゼルパティキュレートフィルタ。
