Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a recording apparatus that performs recording on a recording medium, and more particularly to a recording apparatus that includes a linear conveyance path capable of conveying a plate-like body. The present invention also relates to a liquid ejecting apparatus.
Here, the liquid ejecting apparatus uses an ink jet recording head, and is not limited to a recording apparatus such as a printer, a copying machine, and a facsimile machine that discharges ink from the recording head to perform recording on a recording medium. And a device that ejects a liquid corresponding to the application from a liquid ejecting head corresponding to the ink jet recording head to an ejected medium corresponding to a recording medium, and adheres the liquid to the ejected medium. .
In addition to the recording head, as a liquid ejecting head, a color material ejecting head used for manufacturing a color filter such as a liquid crystal display, and an electrode material (conductive paste) used for forming an electrode such as an organic EL display or a surface emitting display (FED) Examples thereof include an ejection head, a bioorganic matter ejection head used for biochip production, and a sample ejection head as a precision pipette.
An ink jet printer as an example of a recording apparatus or a liquid ejecting apparatus uses an optical disk typified by a CD-R or DVD (Digital Versatile Disc) as a recording medium, and ejects ink droplets directly onto the label surface. Some are configured to enable recording. In such an ink jet printer, an optical disk or the like is generally set on a plate-shaped tray (plate-shaped body), and is transported along a linear transport path in the ink jet printer (sub-scan) And ink jet recording is performed on the label surface.
This tray is manually fed into the printer while being supported by a guide disposed on the front side of the ink jet printer as shown in cited
When the stacker is configured to be switchable between two positions as described above, that is, when the stacker for stacking printing sheets is configured to function as a guide for guiding the tray, the cost of the apparatus can be reduced. Can be planned. However, in the stacker described in the above cited document 3, for example, when the stacker in the second position is switched to the first position, the free end of the stacker is lifted to the inclined position, and then the upper position remains in the inclined position. It is necessary to carry out a series of position switching operations such as lifting up to the side and tilting the free end side to bring it into a substantially horizontal posture, which makes it difficult for the user to intuitively understand the position switching operation of the stacker.
Therefore, for example, if the stacker position switching operation can be executed only by the rotation operation of one lever, the operability is improved and user friendly. However, it is possible to perform a stacker position switching operation mechanically only by a rotation operation of one lever and without using the power of a motor or the like, more specifically, the first position or the second position. It is difficult to configure the stacker to smoothly move up or down during the position switching operation while reliably holding the position when taking the position.
Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of such a situation, and an object of the present invention is to switch the stacker position when the stacker for stacking print sheets is configured to function also as a guide for guiding the tray. The purpose is to make the operation even easier to understand and easier. More specifically, the stacker can be freely switched between two positions by operating a single lever.
In order to solve the above problems, a first aspect of the present invention comprises a recording means for recording on a recording medium and a discharging means for discharging the recording medium recorded by the recording means. A recording apparatus having a linear conveyance path capable of conveying a body, the first position forming the linear conveyance path, and a position below the first position, and ejected by the ejection means A stacker that can be switched by a position switching unit between the second position where the recording medium to be stacked can be stacked, and the position switching unit is configured such that the position of the stacker is determined from the center of gravity of the stacker as viewed from the stacker. An operated part that is located on the end side and serves as an action point of force applied to the stacker when performing the position switching operation of the stacker, and the operated part is moved up and down Holding the first position by restricting the rotation operation of the stacker together with the operated portion, the guide means for guiding in a direction, located on the free end side of the stacker with respect to the operated portion, Further, a first restriction that restricts the posture of the stacker after the first position is released or before switching to the first position to an inclined posture in which the free end side of the stacker together with the operated portion is directed upward. And the second position by holding the stacker together with the operated part, and holding the second position. The position of the stacker before switching to the position or after the second position is released is tilted so that the free end side of the stacker together with the operated portion faces upward. And a second restricting means for restricting the position of the stacker so that when the operated portion is displaced downward in a state where the stacker assumes the first position, the posture of the stacker is The state of being controlled by the operated portion and the first restricting means is switched to the state of being controlled by the operated portion and the second restricting means, and the stacker is in the state where the stacker assumes the second position. When the operation unit is displaced upward, the stacker posture is changed from the state controlled by the operated unit and the second regulating unit to the state regulated by the operated unit and the first regulating unit. It is characterized by switching.
According to this aspect, the position switching means for switching the position of the stacker includes the two restriction means of the first restriction means and the second restriction means, that is, two means for restricting the posture of the stacker. Since it is configured to deliver the function of regulating the stacker posture in the process, it is possible to perform only a simple operation such as displacing an operated portion provided between the first regulating means and the second regulating means. It is possible to perform a bidirectional position switching operation from the first position to the second position and from the second position to the first position, and to use two restricting means. Thus, each position can be securely held. In other words, it is possible to make the stacker position switching operation easier to understand and simpler.
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the first aspect, the first restricting means is provided independently from the stacker, a first engaging portion provided on the stacker side, and the first A first restricting portion for restricting the rotation operation of the stacker by contacting the engaging portion, and the second restricting means includes a second engaging portion provided on the stacker side. A second restricting portion that is provided independently of the stacker and restricts the rotation operation of the stacker by contacting the second engaging portion, wherein the first restricting portion is A first restricting surface for holding the first position of the stacker and a second restricting surface for restricting the posture of the stacker after the first position is released or before switching to the first position. And the second restricting portion is disposed in front of the stacker. A third restriction surface for holding the second position, and a fourth restriction surface for restricting the posture of the stacker before switching to the second position or after the release of the second position. And the position of the stacker is regulated by the abutment of the second engaging portion on the fourth regulating surface from the state regulated by the abutting of the first engaging portion on the second regulating surface. The inclination angle of the stacker at the time of switching to a state where the inclination angle immediately before switching is α1, the inclination angle immediately after switching is α2, and α1> α2 is established. The second restriction surface and the fourth restriction surface are formed so that the second engagement portion and the fourth restriction surface are opposed to each other.
According to this aspect, from the state in which the posture of the stacker is regulated by the contact of the first engagement portion with the second restriction surface (the restriction state by the first restriction means), the second engagement portion. The inclination angle of the stacker when switching to a state regulated by contact with the fourth regulating surface (regulated state by the second regulating means) is α1 immediately before the switching, and the inclination angle immediately before the switching is α1. When the inclination angle is α2, the relationship of α1> α2 is established, and the second restricting surface and the fourth restricting surface are arranged so that the second engaging portion and the fourth restricting surface face each other immediately before switching. Since the four restricting surfaces are formed, immediately before the switching, the second engaging portion and the fourth restricting surface face each other and a gap is formed between them. Accordingly, the stacker can be smoothly switched from the first position to the second position without the second engagement portion being caught on the upper edge of the fourth restriction surface at the time of switching. Can do.
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the first or second aspect, the position switching means is disposed on both sides of the stacker. According to this aspect, since the position switching means is arranged on both sides of the stacker, the posture of the stacker is more stable during the position switching operation, and therefore the position switching operation can be performed more smoothly. .
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the third aspect, the operated portion is configured by a single shaft having both ends projecting outward from the side surface of the stacker and rotatably provided. The guide means includes a pinion gear mounted near both side ends of the shaft, a guide hole extending in a displacement direction of the stacker and loosely inserted into an end of the shaft, and a guide meshed with the pinion gear. And a member.
According to this aspect, the stacker is displaced up and down in synchronism without tilting in the width direction by meshing the two pinion gears provided on both sides of the stacker and rotating in synchronism with each other. The posture of the stacker during the switching operation is stabilized, and therefore the position switching operation can be performed more reliably.
According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, in the fourth aspect, the position switching means engages with an end portion on one side of the shaft and rotates to displace the shaft in the vertical direction. It has an operation lever.
According to this aspect, since the operated portion can be displaced in the vertical direction by rotating the operation lever, the operability during the position switching operation is further improved.
According to a sixth aspect of the present invention, in the fifth aspect, a cover body capable of opening and closing an opening on the front side of the apparatus by rotating is engageable with the operation lever below the stacker. The stacker is pivotable in a direction in which the free end side is lifted upward with the shaft as a pivot shaft, and the cover body is closed when the stacker assumes the first position. The cover body rotates the operation lever in a direction to switch the stacker from the first position to the second position, and engages with the free end of the stacker and the free lever. The opening is closed by lifting the end upward.
According to this aspect, when the cover body provided below the stacker is rotated in the closing direction, the operation lever is rotated along with the rotation of the stacker, and the front side of the recording apparatus is rotated. Since the opening is closed, there is no possibility of damaging the stacker by the cover body even if the cover body is forcibly rotated in the closing direction.
A sixth aspect of the present invention includes a liquid ejecting unit that ejects a liquid onto an ejected medium and an ejecting unit that ejects the ejected medium that has been liquid ejected by the liquid ejecting unit, and is capable of conveying a plate-like body. A liquid ejecting apparatus having a straight transport path, the first position forming the straight transport path, and a target to be discharged by the discharge means, located below the first position. A stacker that can be switched by a position switching means between a second position at which the ejection medium can be stacked is provided, and the position switching means is located on the base end side of the stacker from the center of gravity of the stacker as viewed from the side of the stacker. A position to be operated and a position to be operated of a force applied to the stacker when performing a position switching operation of the stacker; A guide means for guiding, positioned on a free end side of the stacker with respect to the operated portion, and holding the first position by restricting a rotation operation of the stacker together with the operated portion; First regulating means for regulating the posture of the stacker after the first position is released or before switching to the first position to an inclined posture in which the free end side of the stacker together with the operated portion is directed upward. The second position is held by restricting the rotation operation of the stacker together with the operated portion, and is positioned on the base end side of the stacker with respect to the operated portion, and further to the second position. The orientation of the stacker before switching or after the release of the second position is inclined with the operated portion and the free end side of the stacker facing upward. When the stacker is displaced downward in a state in which the stacker assumes the first position, the stacker is configured so that the position of the stacker is the second control means. And the state controlled by the first restricting means is switched to the state regulated by the operated part and the second restricting means, and the operated part is moved in the state where the stacker takes the second position. When displaced upward, the posture of the stacker is switched from the state regulated by the operated part and the second regulating means to the state regulated by the operated part and the first regulating means. It is characterized by.

The configuration of the
Hereinafter, the
The
The

The
The
Subsequently, a recording medium discharge device 3 is provided on the downstream side of the
The

The paper

<< 2. Configuration of position switching means >>
Next, the position switching means 4 for switching the position of the
As shown in FIG. 3, a
Position switching means 4 is provided on both sides of the
As shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, the
As shown in FIG. 10, the
Further, in addition to this, the
Therefore, as described above, when the
Further, even if the
Next, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the position switching means 4 includes a
The
The guide means 50 includes a
The
The
The
As shown in FIG. 9, a
That is, the
The
Next, as shown in FIGS. 6 to 8, the
Hereinafter, the first restricting
When the
That is, since the
Next, when the
Next, when the operating
When the operating
When the first engaging
When the
As described above, the first restricting
The second restricting
The position switching means 4 configured as described above includes two restriction means, that is, first restriction means 51 and second restriction means 52, that is, two means for restricting the posture of the
Therefore, this makes it possible to move the
In particular, as described with reference to FIG. 1, the
In addition, in the process of switching the
Therefore, when the first engaging
<< 3. Tray configuration >>
Next, the configuration of the
As shown in FIG. 15, the
The
The vertical direction of FIG. 14 is the transport direction of the
The
This is due to the following reason. That is, when inserting the

<< 4. Configuration of urging device and release means >>
Subsequently, with reference to FIGS. 16 to 25, a configuration of a biasing device (torsion spring 49) for biasing the paper
[4-1. Configuration of Energizing Device]
As shown in FIGS. 16 and 17, a paper
A
The
The paper
Next, the torsion spring (biasing device) 49 that biases the paper
Then, one
Since the
Here, at the contact position of the paper
That is, a
This is due to the following reason. That is, when printing is performed on the paper P such as plain paper or exclusive paper, if the discharge driven
In order to securely hold the paper
However, as described above, the position of the
Since the urging force decreases from the contact position toward the separation position, the amount of work when the paper
Further, by providing the
When the paper
[4-2. Structure of release means]
Next, the release means 5 that displaces the paper
The release means 5 includes a
As shown in FIG. 21, a
22 shows a state where the discharge driven
In FIG. 22 showing a state in which the paper
Here, the paper
The
That is, when the position of the
In particular, in this embodiment, when the paper
Next, when the
Then, when the
Note that an
As described above, the paper
Further, since the
In this embodiment, the displacement amount when the paper
25, the
When the
In addition, a plurality of (two in this embodiment)
