Abstract
Description
・ 約10%〜80%のセメント系結合剤(一実施形態において、アルミナセメント、石灰、高リン酸塩セメント、粉砕水砕高炉スラグセメント、およびそれらの混合物からなる群から選択されるもの。);
・ 約20%〜80%の骨材(一実施形態において、粉砕シリカ、非晶質シリカ、マイクロシリカ、地熱シリカ、珪藻土、石炭燃焼フライアッシュ、高炉スラグ、水砕スラグ、鋼スラグ、鉱物酸化物、鉱物水酸化物、粘土、マグネサイトまたはドロマイト、金属酸化物および水酸化物、ポリマービーズ、ならびにそれらの混合物からなる群から選択されるもの。);
・ 約0.5%〜20%のセルロース繊維であり、漂白標準品位セルロース繊維および未漂白標準品位セルロース繊維、および/または天然無機繊維、および/または合成繊維の組合せを含み、全セルロース繊維の約50%未満が漂白した繊維であるもの;
・ 約0%〜80%の密度調節剤(一実施形態において、プラスチック材料、発泡ポリスチレンまたは他の発泡ポリマー材料、ガラスおよびセラミック材料、ケイ酸カルシウム水和物、ミクロスフェアおよび発泡体形態の真珠岩、軽石、シラス玄武岩、ゼオライトを含む火山灰、ならびにそれらの混合物からなる群から選択されるもの。);ならびに
・ 約0%〜10%の添加剤(一実施形態において、粘度調節剤、難燃剤、防水剤、シリカフューム、地熱シリカ、増粘剤、顔料、着色剤、可塑剤、分散剤、起泡剤、凝集剤、排水助剤、湿潤および乾燥強度助剤、シリコーン材料、アルミニウム粉末、粘土、カオリン、アルミナ三水和物、雲母、メタカオリン、炭酸カルシウム、珪灰石、ポリマー樹脂エマルション、ならびにそれらの混合物からなる群から選択されるもの。)。
・ 得られた複合材料は、通常は高品位のセルロース繊維を混和することによってのみ達成可能である、所望の強度およびたわみ性のバランスを達成している;
・ 得られた複合材料は、漂白したセルロース繊維を活用しており、それらの繊維は、ダグラスファー、ベイツガ、スプルースおよびレッドウッドを含むが、それらに限定されない様々な通常的に入手可能な樹種から得ることができるものである;
・ 漂白した繊維は、精製に要するエネルギーがより少なく、得られた複合材料の製品コストが低減される。
配合Aでは漂白したセルロース繊維を混和し、また配合Bでは高品位セルロース繊維を混和して、同等の配合により作製した繊維強化セメント複合材料の機械的性質を表1では比較している。これらの材料はハトシェク社の機械を使用して生産した。結果は、生産1週間にわたって採取した多数の試料に基づいている。ラジアータパインの高品位繊維約13%を含有する同等の配合の製品と比較して、漂白パルプ約13%を含有する配合により、同様の機械的性質を有する製品が得られることがわかる。
実施例2
繊維セメント複合材料の試験片を、下記の表2に示す配合CおよびDに従って作製した。配合Cでは、漂白および未漂白セルロース繊維のブレンドを混和した。この繊維ブレンドは、漂白繊維約20%および未漂白繊維約80%を含有していた。配合Dは対照標準であり、すべて未漂白繊維を使用した。これらの繊維セメントの配合は比較の目的だけのために選択したものであり、本発明の範囲から逸脱せずに、様々な他の配合が使用できることが理解されるであろう。
Claims (27)
- セメント系マトリックスと、
該セメント系マトリックス中に混和される、漂白セルロース繊維および未漂白セルロース繊維のブレンドからなるセルロース繊維と
を含む複合材料。 - 前記漂白セルロース繊維が、前記マトリックス中に混和された全セルロース繊維の約50%未満を占める、請求項1に記載の複合材料。
- 前記漂白セルロース繊維が、前記マトリックス中に混和された全セルロース繊維の約5%〜25%を占める、請求項2に記載の複合材料。
- 前記漂白セルロース繊維が、約10以下の平均カッパー価を有する、請求項1に記載の複合材料。
- 前記漂白セルロース繊維が、ダグラスファー、ベイツガ、スプルース、サザンイエローパイン、ケナフおよびレッドウッドからなる群から選択された樹種からの繊維を含む、請求項1に記載の複合材料。
- 前記漂白セルロース繊維が、ラジアータパインの繊維を含む、請求項1に記載の複合材料。
- 前記未漂白セルロース繊維が、ダグラスファー、ベイツガ、ホワイトファー、スプルース、サザンパイン、ケナフおよびレッドウッドからなる群から選択された樹種からの繊維を含む、請求項1に記載の複合材料。
- 前記漂白および未漂白セルロース繊維が、複合材料の約0.5重量%〜20重量%を占める、請求項1に記載の複合材料。
- 前記漂白および未漂白セルロース繊維が、約1mm〜3.5mmの平均繊維長を有するセルロース繊維を含む、請求項1に記載の複合材料。
- 前記複合材料の曲げ強度(MOR)が、未漂白の高品位セルロース繊維で強化した同等の複合材料のMORと実質的に同等以上である、請求項1に記載の複合材料。
- 前記複合材料の靭性エネルギーが、未漂白の高品位セルロース繊維で強化した同等の複合材料の靭性エネルギーと実質的に同等以上である、請求項1に記載の複合材料。
- 繊維強化セメント複合材料を製造する方法であって、
漂白セルロース繊維および未漂白セルロース繊維を供給するステップと、
該漂白および未漂白セルロース繊維をセメント系結合剤と混合して、繊維セメント混合物を形成するステップと、
該繊維セメント混合物を成形して、予め選択された形状および寸法の繊維セメント品とするステップと、
該繊維セメント品を養生するステップと
を含む方法。 - 前記漂白セルロース繊維を供給するステップが、セルロース繊維を漂白剤で処理するステップを含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記漂白セルロース繊維は、約10以下の平均カッパー価となるよう前記漂白剤で処理する、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記未漂白セルロース繊維を供給するステップが、未漂白の標準品位セルロース繊維を供給するステップを含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記漂白および未漂白セルロース繊維を混合するステップが、前記セルロース繊維を予め選択された割合で混合して、前記複合材料に所定の物理的性質を付与するステップを含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記予め選択された割合の漂白および未漂白セルロース繊維が、高品位セルロース繊維だけで強化された同等の複合材料のMORと、実質的に同等以上のMORを有する前記複合材料を与える、請求項16に記載の方法。
- セメント系マトリックスと、
漂白および未漂白セルロース繊維を含み、建築材料に所定のたわみ性および強度を与えるように選択されたセルロース繊維のブレンドと
を含む複合建築材料。 - 前記セルロース繊維のブレンドが、高品位セルロース繊維だけで強化された同等の建築材料のたわみ性および引張り強さと、実質的に同等以上のたわみ性および強度を建築材料に与えるるように選択される、請求項18に記載の建築材料。
- 前記セルロース繊維のブレンドが、漂白セルロース繊維だけで強化された同等の建築材料のたわみ性および引張り強さと、実質的に同等以上のたわみ性および強度を建築材料に付与するように選択される、請求項18に記載の建築材料。
- 前記セルロース繊維のブレンドが、漂白セルロース繊維を約50%未満含む、請求項18に記載の建築材料。
- 前記セルロース繊維のブレンドが、高品位セルロース繊維を含まない、請求項18に記載の建築材料。
- 前記セルロース繊維のブレンドが、漂白セルロース繊維を約5%〜25%含む、請求項21に記載の建築材料。
- 前記漂白セルロース繊維が、約10未満の平均カッパー価を有する、請求項18に記載の建築材料。
- セメント系マトリックスと、
約10以下のカッパー価を有するセルロース繊維の第1の部分と、
約10を超えるカッパー価を有する標準品位セルロース繊維の第2の部分と
を含む複合材料。 - 前記セルロース繊維の第1の部分が、高品位セルロース繊維を含む、請求項25に記載の複合材料。
- 前記セルロース繊維の第1の部分が、セルロース繊維の前記2つの部分を合わせた全量の約50重量%未満を占める、請求項25に記載の複合材料。
