Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a boost converter control device that controls a boost converter.
A boost converter that boosts a DC voltage of a battery or the like is known. A boost converter is used in a motor drive device using an inverter such as a hybrid vehicle (Patent Document 1). By boosting the DC voltage with the boost converter and supplying it to the inverter, high output and high efficiency can be achieved in the motor high rotation range.
Consider a case where the load output (motor output) suddenly changes or the boost converter output voltage changes suddenly in a conventional boost converter. Such a sudden change corresponds to sudden acceleration / deceleration or slip in a hybrid vehicle. In order to increase the response to sudden load change or sudden output voltage change, the gain of the boost converter control system may be increased. However, if the gain is increased, the control system may become unstable. For this reason, the gain cannot be increased so much that the responsiveness cannot be improved.
The present invention provides a boost converter control device that controls a boost converter with high responsiveness.
The present invention is applied to a boost converter control device that has at least one switching element and a reactor and controls an output voltage of a boost converter that boosts an input voltage, and inputs a command value of a boost converter output voltage. Means, feedback control means for performing feedback control so as to approximate the value of the output voltage of the boost converter to the input command value, and outputting a control signal for controlling switching of the switching element, and the value of the output voltage of the boost converter Output voltage detection means for detecting current, reactor current detection means for detecting the value of current flowing through the reactor, and output of the boost converter based on the value of input voltage and the value of current flowing through the reactor detected by the reactor current detection means Output voltage calculation means for calculating the voltage value and boost converter Response performance determining means for determining whether one of the first response performance and the second response performance higher than the first response performance is required, and the feedback control means includes the first response performance determination means. When it is determined that the response performance is required, feedback control is performed by feeding back the value of the output voltage detected by the output voltage detection means, and the response performance determination means determines that the second response performance is required. When the determination is made, feedback control is performed by feeding back the value of the output voltage calculated by the output voltage calculation means.
Since the present invention is configured as described above, the boost converter can be controlled with high responsiveness.
FIG. 1 is a diagram showing an overall configuration diagram of an electric motor control device using the boost converter control device of the present invention. The electric motor control device of the present embodiment is used for controlling an electric motor that drives a hybrid vehicle.
In FIG. 1, a voltage is applied to a DC portion of an
The
The step-
In such a system, the drive torque of the
FIG. 2 is a diagram showing an internal configuration of the boost
The
When high responsiveness is required for control, the
FIG. 3 is a diagram in which the output
In this manner, boost
Next, a method for calculating the boost converter output voltage in the output
V2=V1−L・△I1/△T ...(式1)
Here, when attention is paid to switching element Q1 off and switching element Q2 off, the equivalent circuit of
V2 = V1-L · ΔI1 / ΔT. . . (Formula 1)
L: Reactor inductance ΔT: Predetermined time during which switching element Q1 is on ΔI1: Change amount of I1 during ΔT time, and output voltage V2 can be calculated from input voltage V1 and reactor current I1.
Therefore, when the switching element Q1 is off and the switching element Q2 is off, the reactor current is detected twice with an interval of ΔT, and V2 can be calculated by using
Next, the switching logic of the

(2) When the voltage command V2 * is a change other than a step change (in the case of a ramp change), and the change amount of V2 * is equal to or greater than a predetermined value within a predetermined time. That is, when the amount of change per unit time is greater than or equal to a predetermined value.
(3) When the required load output changes stepwise and the change amount of the required load output is equal to or greater than a predetermined value. The load request output is obtained by (torque command) × (motor rotational angular velocity).
(4) The load request output is a change other than a step change, and the amount of change in the load request output is equal to or greater than a predetermined value within a predetermined time.
The logic for returning the
In hybrid electric vehicles, the following situations are required for high responsiveness.
(1) When the tire slips or idles. In this case, the motor rotation speed rapidly increases due to the motor load dropping, and the boost converter output voltage needs to be increased rapidly accordingly. In this case, as described above, the voltage command V2 * changes step by a predetermined amount or more, or changes by a predetermined value or more within a predetermined time.
(2) When sudden acceleration / deceleration is performed. Also in this case, since the boost converter output voltage changes drastically due to sudden increase / decrease in motor output, it is necessary to quickly return the output voltage to the voltage command value. As a result, the voltage command V2 * changes step by a predetermined amount or more, or changes by a predetermined value or more within a predetermined time.
