Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to control of a power supply device for an electric vehicle.
In an electric vehicle such as a hybrid vehicle or an electric vehicle that drives a vehicle by combining an engine and a motor, the driving motor is driven by the output of a battery mounted on the vehicle. Due to the structure of the battery, a battery having a voltage lower than the driving voltage of the traveling motor is used. The low voltage of the battery is boosted to a high voltage by a boost converter, and the boosted DC power is converted into three-phase AC power for driving the driving motor by an inverter to drive the driving motor.
For example, as described in Patent Document 1, the boost converter switches the low-voltage power of the battery with a switching element, intermittently accumulates electromagnetic energy in the reactor, and converts the accumulated electromagnetic energy into a high-voltage side voltage. Are used for output. The boost converter detects the low-voltage side voltage before boosting and the high-voltage side voltage after boosting, and controls the time ratio (duty) between conduction and cutoff of the switching element based on the voltage to control a predetermined boost voltage ratio PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) control is used so that For this reason, if the low voltage side voltage detector for detecting the low voltage side voltage or the high voltage side voltage detector for detecting the high voltage side becomes abnormal, the boost control cannot be performed. On the other hand, an inverter that uses the boosted high-voltage side as an input voltage is provided with a capacitor that smoothes the voltage. Therefore, even when boost control cannot be performed, the high-voltage side voltage does not drop immediately. It will be in a high voltage state for a while. Then, the voltage of the inverter is higher than the voltage of the battery, electric power cannot be output from the battery to the inverter, and driving electric power cannot be supplied to the electric vehicle. For this reason, when the voltage detector is in an abnormal state, there is a problem that the electric vehicle cannot travel.
Therefore, for example, as shown in Patent Document 1, when an abnormality occurs in the high-voltage side voltage detector, the switching transistor of the boost converter is turned off to electrically cut off the battery and the inverter on which the high-voltage voltage is applied. Then, the electric charge accumulated in the smoothing capacitor of the inverter is discharged by a discharge resistor, a running motor, etc., and the voltage on the high voltage side is made substantially equivalent to the voltage of the battery on the low voltage side. It has been proposed to drive a traveling motor by controlling an inverter.
Moreover, in a hybrid vehicle equipped with an engine, two motor generators, and a chargeable / dischargeable battery, the motor generator directly connected to the wheels functions as a generator in place of the engine brake of a normal engine vehicle, and at the time of power generation A regenerative brake is used that brakes a vehicle with a rotational resistance and regenerates generated power as charging power for a battery. In such a hybrid vehicle, when an abnormality occurs in the battery, the generated power of the motor generator cannot be charged into the battery. Therefore, by making another motor generator function as an electric motor and rotating the engine, The regenerative power is consumed and the battery is disconnected from the power system. In this case, when the motor generator functioning as a motor has a high rotation speed and the back electromotive voltage from the motor generator is higher than the voltage on the inverter side, power cannot be supplied to the motor generator functioning as a motor, and regeneration is performed. Will not be able to consume the power. For this reason, for example, as described in
According to the prior art described in Patent Document 1, even when the high-voltage side voltage detector is abnormal, the high-voltage side voltage is reduced to a voltage equivalent to the low-voltage side voltage and then boosted by the low-voltage side voltage detector. It is possible to run the electric vehicle by controlling the converter and the inverter. However, the inverter uses the high-voltage side voltage detected by the high-voltage side voltage detector as an input voltage signal, and adjusts the output power to the driving motor by controlling the switching element of the inverter based on the output power command from the control device. In addition, drive control of the traveling motor is performed. If an abnormality occurs in the high-voltage side voltage detector, and the input voltage signal of the inverter is switched to the low-voltage side voltage detector signal before the high-voltage side voltage including the inverter drops to the low-voltage side voltage, A voltage higher than the control input voltage is applied to the inverter. However, since the inverter performs on / off control of the switching element in an attempt to control the traveling motor using the low-voltage side voltage, an overcurrent flows through the switching element of the inverter, which may cause malfunction or damage of the switching element. It was.

The
The operation when an abnormality occurs in the high-voltage
As shown in step S101 of FIG. 2, the
When it is determined that the high-voltage
As shown in FIG. 5, the dotted line b indicating the high-voltage side voltage V H acquired from the high-voltage
As shown in step S <b> 103 of FIG. 2,
Next, as shown in step S <b> 104 of FIG. 2, the
If an abnormality occurs in the high-voltage
In this way, the estimated back electromotive voltage V H * close to the actual high voltage is set as the input voltage of the
As shown in step S <
