Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a hot metal pretreatment method in which an oxygen source is supplied to hot metal to perform dephosphorization treatment or desiliconization treatment, and more specifically, a forming soothing agent for a metal recovered from slag generated in a dephosphorization process of hot metal. The present invention relates to a hot metal pretreatment method for performing dephosphorization treatment or desiliconization treatment while suppressing slag forming caused by supply of an oxygen source.
The hot metal discharged from the blast furnace is often subjected to desulfurization treatment and dephosphorization treatment called hot metal pretreatment before decarburization and refining in the converter. Initially, these pretreatments were carried out for steels that required low sulfidation and low phosphatization due to the quality of the steel materials. However, in recent years, productivity improvement in converters and reduction of Mn ore in converters As a means of reducing the total cost of the steelmaking process in a steelmaking integrated steelworks, desulfurization and dephosphorization treatments have been applied to almost all the hot metal that is produced. It was. In this case, since the dephosphorization reaction is inhibited when the silicon content of the hot metal is high, desiliconization may be performed prior to dephosphorization in order to efficiently perform the dephosphorization. This desiliconization process is also one of the hot metal preliminary processes.
Among these hot metal pretreatments, dephosphorization and desiliconization processes supply oxygen gas or iron oxide such as iron ore to the hot metal, and oxidize and remove phosphorus and silicon as components to be removed by these oxygen sources. is doing. However, the hot metal generally contains about 4% by mass of carbon, and reacts with carbon by supplying an oxygen source to produce CO gas as a reaction product. Due to the CO gas, a so-called slag foaming phenomenon that occurs in the dephosphorization process and the desiliconization process, so-called slag forming, occurs. In particular, slag with high SiO 2 concentration and high viscosity is severely formed, and slag is severely formed at the initial stage of dephosphorization in which this kind of slag is generated and throughout the desiliconization process. Operation is greatly hindered by overflowing from the container.
However, each of these conventional techniques has problems. Forming sedatives as disclosed in Patent Document 1 are expensive and are undesirable because they increase the cost of hot metal pretreatment. The method disclosed in Patent Document 2 has a drawback in that a facility for inserting the rod body from above into the slag must be installed, which involves capital investment. In the method of adding the decarburized slag disclosed in
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances. The object of the present invention is to provide a high-viscosity slag having a high SiO 2 concentration when a dephosphorization process or a desiliconization process is performed by supplying an oxygen source to hot metal. It is an object of the present invention to provide a hot metal pretreatment method for supplying a oxygen source and performing dephosphorization treatment or desiliconization treatment that can reliably and reliably suppress forming.
The hot metal pretreatment method according to the first aspect of the present invention for solving the above problems is a hot metal pretreatment method for supplying deoxygenation treatment or desiliconization treatment by supplying an oxygen source to the hot metal in the treatment vessel. A slag adhering to the slag collected from the slag generated by the dephosphorization process is added to the processing vessel during the processing to suppress slag forming.
The hot metal pretreatment method according to the second invention is characterized in that, in the first invention, the CaO content in the slag adhering to the metal is 30% by mass or more.
The hot metal pretreatment method according to the third invention is characterized in that, in the first or second invention, the ratio of iron in the metal to which the slag is adhered is 30% by mass or more.
According to the present invention, the slag-adhered metal recovered from the slag generated in the hot metal dephosphorization process is added on top during the hot metal dephosphorization process or the desiliconization process. Although the recovered bullion has slag attached, it has a higher density than the slag produced in the dephosphorization or desiliconization process, and the slag produced in the dephosphorization or desiliconization process is bullion. And a passage for CO gas generated during dephosphorization or desiliconization is formed. Moreover, the basicity of the slag produced in the dephosphorization process or the desiliconization process is increased by the CaO content in the slag adhering to the metal, and the viscosity of the slag is lowered and the slag itself is difficult to form. As a result, the formation of slag can be suppressed and stable dephosphorization and desiliconization can be carried out at the same time without using a sedative and without changing the oxygen gas supply rate. The bullion can be used effectively as an iron source. In addition, since the bullion is added on top, the amount of bullion added can be set based on the hot metal temperature and the hot metal component, so the heat margin can be maximized without generating undissolved bullion. The added amount can be set. Furthermore, since the slag adhering to the metal is in a so-called pre-melt state once melted, it promotes hatching of a refining additive such as quick lime that is newly added, and in particular promotes a dephosphorization reaction. Although the slag adhering to the metal is once used for the dephosphorization treatment, it still has the dephosphorization ability and does not interfere with the dephosphorization treatment. As described above, the dephosphorization treatment and the desiliconization treatment of the hot metal are promoted more than before, and an industrially beneficial effect is brought about in combination with the effective use of the metal.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. FIG. 1 is a schematic cross-sectional view showing an example of hot metal pretreatment equipment used when carrying out dephosphorization treatment and desiliconization treatment according to the present invention.

The recovered metal 16 is obtained by cooling the slag generated in the hot metal dephosphorization process with cooling water, etc., crushing and classifying the slag, and selecting 30% to 80% by mass as the attached slag. Since it is a bullion collected from slag generated by dephosphorization, it is also called “dephosphorized bullion”. The size of the recovered metal 16 is not particularly limited, but is required to be a size that can be input by a raw material supply facility including the
FIG. 2 is a diagram showing a result of investigating the forming suppression effect by changing the iron ratio of the recovered metal 16. When the iron ratio of the recovered metal 16 is 30% by mass or more, the forming suppressing effect is shown. Was confirmed to be high. Therefore, it is preferable to use the recovered metal 16 having a ratio of iron of 30% by mass or more as the recovered metal 16.
The composition of the slag adhering to the recovered metal 16 is as follows. That is, slag generated by dephosphorization of hot metal generally has a high slag basicity (CaO / SiO 2 mass ratio) of about 2-3. This is because the higher the basicity of the slag, the higher the absorption capacity of the phosphor oxide produced by the dephosphorization reaction, and a larger amount of the phosphor oxide can be fixed in the slag. Moreover, 1-2 mass% phosphorus is contained in the slag. However, the slag has a dephosphorization ability, and the phosphorus in the slag does not return to the
Therefore, when the recovered metal 16 is used in the dephosphorization process, hatching of the
The CaO content of the slag adhering to the recovered metal 16 reacts with the high-
The recovered metal 16 functions as a coolant in the dephosphorization process and the desiliconization process of the
First, a method for performing hot metal desiliconization processing according to the present invention using the hot metal pretreatment facility 1 having such a configuration will be described.
The
Then, the recovery metal 16 accommodated in the
The temperature of the

After the desiliconization treatment, the hot metal ladle 2 containing the
By performing the desiliconization process on the
Next, a method for carrying out hot metal dephosphorization processing according to the present invention using the hot metal pretreatment facility 1 having the above-described configuration will be described. In order to efficiently perform the dephosphorization reaction, it is preferable to reduce the silicon content of the

By refining in this way, the phosphorus contained in the
In this dephosphorization process, the recovered metal 16 accommodated in the
The recovered metal 16 is preferably added at the initial stage of the dephosphorization treatment in which slag having a high SiO 2 concentration is formed. In the case of dephosphorization,

The
The composition of the resulting
After the dephosphorization process, the hot metal ladle 2 containing the
In this way, the
In addition, although the said description was performed in the example using the hot metal ladle 2, when implementing this invention, a processing container is not necessarily restricted to the hot metal ladle 2, and even if it is a torpedo car and a charging pan, it follows this The invention can be implemented. Of course, converter-type smelting vessels are also applicable, but in the case of converter-type smelter, the free board is large, and the influence of slag forming is less than in the case where it is carried out with hot metal ladle or torpedo car. Therefore, the present invention is particularly suitable for dephosphorization treatment and desiliconization treatment using a container having a small free board such as a hot metal ladle or a torpedo car.
The hot metal discharged from the blast furnace was received by a hot metal ladle having a capacity of 200 tons and transferred to the hot metal pretreatment facility shown in FIG. 1 for dephosphorization. The hot metal components before dephosphorization were silicon concentration: 0.05 to 0.30 mass% and phosphorus concentration: 0.08 to 0.12 mass%. Two minutes after the start of the treatment, recovered metal (dephosphorized metal) was added at an addition rate of 200 to 400 kg / min. The recovered metal used had an iron content ratio of 30 to 50% by mass, and the CaO content in the slag adhering to the recovered metal was 30 to 50% by mass. Table 1 shows the average composition of the used recovered bullion.
The amount of recovered metal used was determined according to the hot metal temperature and hot metal components before treatment. As a result, the amount used was 4 to 15 kg per ton of hot metal. After adding a predetermined amount of recovered metal, sintered ore was added as a solid oxygen source. Oxygen gas was supplied from the top blowing lance and quick lime was blown from the injection lance. FIG. 4 shows an outline of the operating conditions.
In this dephosphorization treatment, the mass of slag ejected from the hot metal ladle was measured, and the occurrence of slag forming was investigated. FIG. 5 shows the results of an investigation of the relationship between the amount of added recovered metal (basic unit) and the amount of ejected slag. As is clear from FIG. 5, the slag foaming was reduced by adding the recovered metal, and no measures such as adding a sedative and reducing the oxygen gas supply amount were required.
