- 接地電極となる導電管と、

前記接地電極としての導電管との間に高電圧を印加することでプラズマを発生させ前記混合ガス流路から導電管内へ導かれる燃料を改質するための高電圧電極と

- 支持部材に対し高電圧電極を電極支持絶縁体を介して配置し、高電圧電極の先端部を覆う誘電体の基端を、電極支持絶縁体の端面から内側に入り込ませると共に、高電圧電極の先端から導電管までの距離を、高電圧電極と支持部材との距離よりも短くするよう構成した請求項2記載の燃料改質器。
- 電極支持絶縁体の端面を支持部材の端面から突出させるよう構成した請求項3記載の燃料改質器。
- 高電圧電極と、該高電圧電極の先端部を覆う誘電体とを、隙間なく密着させるよう構成した請求項2〜4いずれかに記載の燃料改質器。
- 高電圧電極の先端部を覆う誘電体の先端部に、混合ガスをプラズマ発生部分へ導くための円盤状の突起部を形成した請求項2〜5いずれかに記載の燃料改質器。
- 導電管の内面のみを誘電体で覆い、高電圧電極の先端部に、混合ガスをプラズマ発生部分へ導くための円盤状の突起部を形成した請求項2記載の燃料改質器。
- 高電圧電極と導電管との間でアーク放電を行うよう構成した請求項1記載の燃料改質器。
- 高電圧電極の先端部に、混合ガスをプラズマ発生部分へ導くための円盤状の突起部を形成した請求項8記載の燃料改質器。
- 支持部材に対し導電管を導電管支持絶縁体を介して配置し、該導電管支持絶縁体に、高電圧電極と同芯状で且つ導電管の内部空間へ向け先細りとなる混合ガス流路としての円錐台状貫通孔部を穿設すると共に、該円錐台状貫通孔部の先端部からその内径が漸次拡張される湾曲面部を形成し、該湾曲面部に対し導電管の内面を滑らかに連続させるよう構成した請求項1〜9いずれかに記載の燃料改質器。
