Abstract
【解決手段】一側に開放部114を有する略六面体形態の缶110と、第1極板123、セパレータ124及び第2極板が積層された状態で、複数回巻取られて缶110の内部に収納され、第1極板123が缶110の内側表面に直接接続され、第2極板には外部に一定の長さ延びた電極タブ126が接続されている電極組立体120と、缶110の開放部114にキャッププレート134が結合し、キャッププレート134には電極タブ126が溶接される電極端子136が結合したキャップ組立体130とを含む。

Claims (16)
- 一側に開放部を有する略六面体形態の缶と、
第1極板、セパレータ及び第2極板が積層された状態で、複数回巻取られて前記缶の内部に収納され、前記第1極板が前記缶の内側の表面に接続され、前記第2極板には外部に一定の長さ延びた電極タブが接続されている電極組立体と、
前記缶の開放部にキャッププレートが結合し、前記キャッププレートには前記電極タブが溶接される電極端子が結合したキャップ組立体と、
を含んでなることを特徴とする二次電池。 - 前記缶は、
相対的に広い面積を有し、相互一定の距離が離隔した1対の長辺部と、
相対的に小さな面積を有し、前記長辺部の両側周縁部に前記長辺部と一体で形成された短辺部と、
前記開放部の反対側であって、前記長辺部及び短辺部と一体形成された底部と、
を含んでなることを特徴とする請求項1記載の二次電池。 - 前記短辺部は、所定の曲率を有するように形成されたことを特徴とする請求項2記載の二次電池。
- 前記短辺部は、前記長辺部に対し、直角形態で形成されたことを特徴とする請求項2記載の二次電池。
- 前記缶は、前記長辺部が前記電極組立体の第1極板と接続されたことを特徴とする請求項2記載の二次電池。
- 前記缶の長辺部と前記電極組立体の第1極板との間には、電極組立体を缶に電気的及び機械的に接続させる溶接領域が更に形成されたことを特徴とする請求項2記載の二次電池。
- 前記缶の長辺部は、対角線が交差する領域において、前記電極組立体の第1極板と接続されたことを特徴とする請求項2記載の二次電池。
- 前記缶は、アルミニウム、スチール、ステンレススチール、銅、または、銅合金中から選択された、いずれかの1つで形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の二次電池。
- 前記電極組立体は、長辺と短辺とを有するゼリーロール形態で巻取られ、前記短辺に対応する領域には電極組立体が缶の内部で流動しないように絶縁テープが更に接着されたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の二次電池。
- 前記キャップ組立体は、絶縁ガスケットを介した状態で前記電極端子が、前記キャッププレートに結合されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の二次電池。
- 前記キャップ組立体は、前記キャッププレートと電極組立体との間に、前記電極タブが通過して前記電極端子に接続できるように通孔が形成された絶縁ケースが更に設けられたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の二次電池。
- 前記電極組立体中、第1極板には正極活物質が、第2極板には負極活物質がコーティングされていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の二次電池。
- 前記電極タブの表面には第1極板との短絡を防止するために絶縁テープが更に接着していることを特徴とする請求項1記載の二次電池。
- 前記キャップ組立体中、キャッププレートには電解液の注入のための電解液注入口が形成され、前記電解液注入口にはボールが挿入されて溶接されたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の二次電池。
- 前記キャップ組立体中、キャッププレートには、相対的に薄い厚さで形成されて内圧増加時に破裂する安全ベントが形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の二次電池。
- 前記電極組立体の第1極板は、導電フィルム、異方性導電フィルム、導電ペースト、または、導電プレート中から選択された、いずれかの1つにより缶の内側の表面に接続されたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の二次電池。
