Abstract
Description
本願発明は、ポリ塩化ビフェニール類(以下PCBという)で汚染された土壌を洗浄し、PCBをほとんど含まない清浄な土壌と、PCBを高濃度で含む部分とを分離する方法及び装置に関するものである。 The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for washing soil contaminated with polychlorinated biphenyls (hereinafter referred to as PCB) and separating clean soil containing almost no PCB and a portion containing PCB at a high concentration. .
PCBは、化学的に安定で熱特性が良好であることからコンデンサやトランス等に多く用いられたが、人体に対する毒性を有することから有害な環境汚染物質として製造が禁止されている。そして、これまでに製造又は使用されたPCBは回収して保管することになっている。しかし、既に環境中に放出されたものがあり、廃棄等によって土壌が汚染されているところがある。土壌中においてもPCBは安定で分解しにくく、地下水等を汚染するおそれがある。 PCBs are often used for capacitors and transformers because they are chemically stable and have good thermal characteristics, but they are toxic to the human body and are therefore prohibited from being manufactured as harmful environmental pollutants. Then, PCBs manufactured or used so far are to be collected and stored. However, some have already been released into the environment, and there are places where the soil is contaminated by disposal or the like. Even in the soil, PCB is stable and difficult to decompose, and may contaminate groundwater and the like.
このように、土壌を汚染しているPCBの浄化処理方法としては、土壌をロータリーキルン等の焼却設備により、高温度で焼却する方法がある。また、特許文献1には、PCBで汚染された土壌を真空加熱乾燥炉で加熱し、PCB等の有害物質をガス状態として土壌から分離して、これを水熱酸化分解処理装置において無害化処理を行うシステムが提案されている。 As described above, as a method for purifying PCB contaminating soil, there is a method of incinerating the soil at a high temperature by an incineration facility such as a rotary kiln. Further, in Patent Document 1, soil contaminated with PCB is heated in a vacuum heating and drying furnace, and harmful substances such as PCB are separated from the soil in a gas state, and this is detoxified in a hydrothermal oxidative decomposition apparatus. A system has been proposed.
However, the conventional methods and apparatuses as described above have problems that are desired to be solved as follows.
As described in Patent Document 1, it is known that harmful gas such as dioxin is generated in the method of heat-treating contaminated soil at a high temperature, and it is necessary to strictly treat this harmful gas. . And it requires a lot of energy for heating, and it is economically inefficient to treat the whole amount of a large amount of soil.
また、特許文献2や特許文献3に記載されているように、有機溶剤を用いてPCBを分離する装置では、多量の有機溶剤を用いることになり、溶剤の管理・処理等の設備が必要となる。このため、設備等に必要な費用が増大し、処理費用も多大となる。 In addition, as described in Patent Document 2 and Patent Document 3, an apparatus that separates PCB using an organic solvent uses a large amount of an organic solvent, which requires equipment for managing and treating the solvent. Become. For this reason, the expense required for facilities etc. increases and a processing cost also becomes large.
一方、特開2002−355663号公報等には、油で汚染された土壌を水で洗浄する方法及びシステムが記載されている。しかし、PCBは石油類に比べて粘性が大きく、土壌粒子からの剥離が難しい点、剥離しても土壌粒子への再付着が起こりやすい点、及びPCBは油に比べて比重が大きく土壌粒子との分離が難しい点等、特有の問題点がある。このため、上記公報に記載の方法をPCBにそのまま適用しても、良好な結果は得られない。 On the other hand, JP 2002-355663 A discloses a method and system for washing soil contaminated with oil with water. However, PCB has higher viscosity than petroleum and is difficult to peel off from soil particles, and is easy to reattach to soil particles even after peeling, and PCB has a higher specific gravity than oil and There are special problems, such as difficulty in separating them. For this reason, even if the method described in the above publication is applied to a PCB as it is, good results cannot be obtained.
本願発明の上記のような事情に鑑みてなされたものであり、その目的は、PCBによって汚染された土壌を水によって洗浄し、清浄な土粒子とPCBを多く含む土粒子とを、効率よく且つ経済的に分離する装置及び方法を提供するものである。 The present invention has been made in view of the circumstances as described above. The purpose of the present invention is to wash soil contaminated with PCB with water, and to efficiently clean soil particles and soil particles containing a large amount of PCB. An apparatus and method for economical separation is provided.
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the invention according to claim 1 is directed to a separation process for ejecting high-pressure water from a nozzle and introducing soil contaminated with PCB into the jet water, and a jet water containing the contaminated soil taken into a cyclone. And separating the PCB separated in the jet and the PCB adhering to the fine soil particles in the cyclone overflow, and bringing the bubbles into contact with the underflow of the cyclone, Provided is a method for cleaning PCB-contaminated soil, which includes a flotation separation step in which the attached PCB is attached to bubbles and floats.
上記方法において、ノズルからの噴流水中に導入する汚染土壌は、汚染地盤から掘削された土壌そのままでもよいが、土塊をほぐし、加水してスラリーとして導入するのが望ましい。また、篩によって大粒径の礫等は除去しておくのがよい。 In the above method, the contaminated soil introduced into the jet water from the nozzle may be the soil excavated from the contaminated ground, but it is desirable to loosen the soil mass, add water, and introduce it as a slurry. Moreover, it is preferable to remove gravel with a large particle size by a sieve.
In this method, high-speed jet water collides with the contaminated soil, and further, intense turbulence is generated around the soil particles. Thereby, PCB adhering to the soil particles is peeled off. Particularly for soil particles having a large particle size, a high-speed water flow is generated near the surface, and the PCB is efficiently peeled off. The exfoliated slurry containing PCB and soil is introduced into the cyclone as it is without stopping by the driving force generated by the injection from the nozzle. The PCB thus peeled off and the PCB adhering to the fine soil particles are separated from most of the soil particles by being included in the cyclone overflow without reattaching to the soil particles having a large particle size. The cyclone underflow still contains PCB because the specific gravity of PCB is large. This PCB floats by adhering to the bubbles when the slurry taken out as underflow comes into contact with the bubbles. Since PCB has hydrophobicity, it adheres to the bubbles and floats along with the bubbles even if the specific gravity is greater than that of water. In this way, PCB particles in the underflow and soil particles precipitated by removing the PCB-attached soil particles are removed and cleaned to such an extent that they can be backfilled to the original ground.
On the other hand, the amount of soil particles attached to the PCB and PCB contained in the cyclone overflow, and the soil particles attached to the PCB and PCB removed by adhering to the bubbles from the underflow account for an extremely large amount of the contaminated soil. Even if the detoxification process is performed by heat treatment or the like, the cost is limited, and an economical and efficient process is possible.
請求項2に係る発明は、請求項1に記載のPCB汚染土壌の洗浄方法において、 前記剥離工程において、前記ノズルに送られる高圧水には高圧の空気を導入し、水と空気とを混合して噴出するものとし、 前記ノズルから噴出され、前記サイクロンに導入される前の噴流水中に、下流側へ向けて高圧の空気を噴出するものとする。 The invention according to claim 2 is the method for cleaning PCB-contaminated soil according to claim 1, wherein, in the peeling step, high-pressure air is introduced into the high-pressure water sent to the nozzle, and water and air are mixed. It is assumed that high pressure air is ejected downstream from the nozzle and into the jet water before being introduced into the cyclone.
In this method, the air supplied on the upstream side of the nozzle has a small volume under high pressure, and expands when jetting with water from the nozzle to accelerate the jet water. This strongly collides with the contaminated soil and a strong turbulent flow is formed around the soil particles, increasing the effect of peeling the PCB. Moreover, in the pipe line from the nozzle to the cyclone, high-pressure air is jetted toward the downstream side, whereby a propulsive force is applied to the slurry to be transferred and bubbles in the slurry are increased. By increasing the number of bubbles, the PCB easily contacts and adheres to the bubbles, and the PCB once separated from the soil particles can be prevented from reattaching to the soil particles having a large particle size. Further, the increase in the propulsive force of the slurry can also effectively suppress the re-adhesion of PCB due to stagnation.
請求項3に係る発明は、請求項1又は請求項2に記載のPCB汚染土壌の洗浄方法おいて、 前記浮選分離工程は、粘土を焼成して素焼きにした部材を透過する空気を、前記サイクロンのアンダーフローに接触させるものとする。 The invention according to claim 3 is the method for cleaning PCB-contaminated soil according to claim 1 or claim 2, wherein the flotation separation step is configured to pass air that passes through a member that is baked and baked clay, It shall be in contact with the cyclone underflow.
素焼きの部材は、多孔性で極めて微細な孔によって透気性を有する。この素焼きの部材を透過する気体を水中に放出すると、極めて微細な気泡となる。微細な気泡は体積に対する表面積の比率が大きく、サイクロンのアンダーフローとして取り出されたスラリーと接触すると、PCBを付着し易く、効率よくPCB及びPCBが付着した土粒子を浮上させることができる。 The unglazed member is porous and has air permeability due to extremely fine pores. When the gas that permeates this unglazed member is released into water, it becomes very fine bubbles. The fine bubbles have a large surface area to volume ratio, and when they come into contact with the slurry taken out as a cyclone underflow, the PCB easily adheres, and the soil particles to which the PCB and PCB are attached can be efficiently levitated.
請求項4に係る発明は、請求項1又は請求項2に記載のPCB汚染土壌の洗浄方法において、 前記サイクロンのアンダフローとして取り出されたスラリーに、起泡剤を添加するものとする。 The invention according to claim 4 is the method for cleaning PCB-contaminated soil according to claim 1 or 2, wherein a foaming agent is added to the slurry taken out as the cyclone underflow.
この方法では、起泡剤によってスラリー中に多量の微細な気泡が発生し、広い表面積でスラリーと接触する。これにより、スラリー中に浮遊する剥離されたPCB又は小さいな粒径の土粒子に付着しているPCBが気泡に付着する。したがって、PCBを気泡とともに効率よく浮上させることができ、清浄な土粒子と分離することができる。 In this method, a large amount of fine bubbles are generated in the slurry by the foaming agent, and contact with the slurry with a large surface area. As a result, the separated PCB floating in the slurry or the PCB attached to the soil particles having a small particle size adheres to the bubbles. Therefore, PCB can be efficiently levitated together with air bubbles, and can be separated from clean soil particles.
請求項5に係る発明は、 高圧水をノズルから噴出し、噴流水中にPCBで汚染された土壌を導入するエジェクタと、 前記エジェクタから噴出されたスラリーが導入されるサイクロンと、 前記サイクロンのアンダーフローが導入されるとともに気泡が導入され、剥離されたPCB又は土粒子に付着したPCBを気泡に付着して浮上させる浮選分離槽とを有するPCB汚染土壌の洗浄装置を提供する。 The invention according to claim 5 includes: an ejector that ejects high-pressure water from a nozzle and introduces soil contaminated with PCB into the jet water; a cyclone into which slurry ejected from the ejector is introduced; and an underflow of the cyclone And a flotation separation tank that floats the PCB adhering to the peeled PCB or the soil particles by adhering to the air bubble and floating.
In this apparatus, high-speed jet water jetted by the ejector collides with the contaminated soil, causing a severe turbulent flow around the soil particles to peel off the PCB adhering to the soil particles. The slurry containing the separated PCB and soil is introduced into the cyclone as it is without stopping by the driving force from the nozzle, and the PCB attached to the separated PCB and fine soil particles is a soil particle having a large particle size. It is separated from most soil particles in the cyclone overflow without reattaching to the soil. The cyclone underflow comes into contact with the air bubbles and adheres to the air bubbles and floats in the flotation separation tank. Therefore, the PCB is separated as the cyclone overflow and the floating matter in the flotation separation tank, and these can be processed efficiently. In addition, soil particles with less contamination settle in the flotation separation tank, and it becomes possible to backfill the original ground.
請求項6に係る発明は、請求項5に記載のPCB汚染土壌の洗浄装置において、 前記エジェクタへ高圧水を供給する管路に高圧空気を注入する第1の高圧空気供給装置と、 前記エジェクタから前記サイクロンへ水と汚染土壌との混合物を搬送する管路内で、下流側に向けて高圧空気を噴出する第2の高圧空気供給装置とを有するものとする。
The invention according to
In this device, the air sent from the first high-pressure air supply device has a small volume under high pressure, expands when jetted from the nozzle, and accelerates the jet water. This strongly collides with the contaminated soil and a strong turbulent flow is formed around the soil particles, increasing the effect of peeling the PCB. In addition, a high-pressure air is jetted from the second high-pressure air supply device toward the downstream side at the downstream side of the ejector, so that a propulsive force is applied to the transferred slurry and bubbles in the slurry are increased. Let As a result, the PCB contacts and adheres to the bubbles, and the separated PCB or the like is fed into the cyclone without reattaching to the large-sized soil particles. Therefore, the PCB can be efficiently separated by the cyclone.
請求項7に係る発明は、請求項5又は請求項6に記載のPCB汚染土壌の洗浄装置において、 前記浮選分離槽は、粘土を焼成して素焼きにした部材を透過する空気を該槽内に供給する気泡発生装置を有するものとする。
The invention according to claim 7 is the apparatus for cleaning PCB-contaminated soil according to claim 5 or
粘土を素焼きにした部材を透過する空気は極めて微細な気泡となって浮選分離槽内に供給され、分離槽内でサイクロンのアンダーフローとして取り出されたスラリーと接触する。これによりPCBを効率よく付着して浮遊させ、汚染の少ない清浄な土粒子と分離することができる。 The air that permeates through the clay-unglazed member is supplied into the flotation separation tank as extremely fine bubbles, and comes into contact with the slurry taken out as a cyclone underflow in the separation tank. As a result, PCB can be attached and floated efficiently and separated from clean soil particles with little contamination.
以上説明したように、本願発明の洗浄装置及び洗浄方法では、PCBで汚染された土壌を水で洗浄し、高濃度でPCBを含む部分と汚染の少ない清浄な土壌とを効率よく分離することができる。そして、高濃度でPCBを含む部分のみを熱処理等によって無害化することにより、多量の汚染土壌の処理を経済的且つ効率的に行うことが可能となる。 As described above, in the cleaning apparatus and the cleaning method of the present invention, soil contaminated with PCB is washed with water, and a portion containing PCB at a high concentration and clean soil with little contamination can be efficiently separated. it can. Then, by detoxifying only the portion containing PCB at a high concentration by heat treatment or the like, it becomes possible to treat a large amount of contaminated soil economically and efficiently.

In addition, this space | interval is not limited to the said value, It can set suitably by the state of soil, the state of contamination, the structure of the whole apparatus, etc.

The vibrating sieve may be provided with a watering device and further cleaned on the sieve.

Next, the cleaning process for PCB-contaminated soil in the cleaning apparatus will be described.
The soil excavated from the ground contaminated with PCB is put into the grizzly 1, and stone pieces, boulders and the like (particularly, particle size is 50 mm or more) having a particularly large particle size are separated. The stone fragments and the like are attached with a very small amount of PCB by washing with high-pressure water, and can be backfilled to the original ground after washing.
The soil that has passed through the grizzly 1 is fed into the drum type washing machine 2. Here, it is added to a slurry to be stirred and washed. As a result, a certain amount of PCB adhering to the soil particles is peeled off from the soil particles, and the amount of adhesion is negligible when focusing only on the soil particles having a large particle size. This slurry is fed into the vibrating screen 3 and soil particles having a particle size larger than 2 mm are separated. The soil particles having a particle size larger than 2 mm have a small amount of PCB adhering as described above, and the soil particles having a large particle size can be backfilled to the original ground as clean soil. On the other hand, the slurry that has passed through the vibrating sieve is once introduced into the storage tank 4.
エジェクタ5では、ノズル5aから高圧水が噴出される。この高圧水は、貯水槽58から供給される水をポンプ51で加圧し、第1の空気供給管53から高圧空気を導入した状態でノズル5aに供給される。このように高圧水(駆動水)は気泡を含むことによって、ノズル5aから噴出されたときに気泡の急激な膨張によって効率よく加速される。
In the ejector 5, high pressure water is ejected from the
エジェクタのノズル5aから駆動水が噴射されている部分では、高速の噴流によって負圧が生じ、貯留槽4から汚染土壌を含むスラリーが吸引され、噴流中に供給される。これにより、高速の噴流がスラリー中の土粒子に衝突するとともに土粒子の周辺で激しい乱流が生じ、土粒子に付着しているPCBの剥離が行われる。このとき噴流に気泡が含まれていると、さらにPCBの剥離の効率が向上する。
In a portion where the drive water is ejected from the
The slurry mixed with the jet water from the ejector 5 is sent to the
In the
On the other hand, the underflow of the
On the other hand, the soil particles settled in the flotation separation tank are almost separated from PCB, and are taken out by the
なお、上記実施の形態では、サイクロン6のアンダーフローに空気を吹き込んで浮選分離槽に送り込んでいるが、空気を吹き込むのに代えて、又は空気を吹き込むとともに、起泡剤をスラリーに添加することができる。起泡剤はとしては、例えば界面活性剤系の起泡剤等を用いることができる。
In the above embodiment, air is blown into the underflow of the
FIG. 4 is a schematic configuration diagram showing another example of a flotation separation tank that can be used in place of the flotation separation tank 7 in the cleaning apparatus shown in FIG. 1.
In the
Even if such a separation tank is used, PCB contained in the underflow of the cyclone is separated together with air bubbles, and can be efficiently separated from soil particles with less sedimentation.
図5に示す浮選分離槽111も、図1に示す洗浄装置における浮選分離槽に代えて用いることできる。
この浮選分離槽111は、槽内の底部に空気吹き出し口が設けられている点は、図4に示す分離槽と同じであるが、この装置では高圧の空気が粘土を素焼きにした筒体112の周面から、この素焼きの筒体の周壁を透過して槽内のスラリー中に吹き出されるものとなっている。
The
This
