Abstract
【解決手段】 センサ電極容量Cxを所定の基準容量Csに基づいた相関値によって計測する電極容量計測手段を備えて、センサ電極容量の計測値が、計測時から第2所定時間前に得られた計測値よりも所定の閾値以上の変化をすると検出信号を発生する静電容量変化検出装置であって、特定の対象物の有無によって生じるセンサ電極容量の特定の変化と同等の容量変化をセンサ電極容量に生じさせる所定の感度補償容量ΔCdを備え、感度補償容量をセンサ電極に接続した接続状態でのセンサ電極容量の計測値と、非接続状態での計測値との差を閾値とすることで、閾値を更新する静電容量変化検出装置。

Description
また、上記目的に加えて、基準容量に基づいて計測した被測定容量の相関値の変化により、被測定容量の容量変化を検出する場合に、被測定容量の変化量についての感度を良好な状態に維持できる静電容量変化検出装置を提供することを目的としている。
図1に示すように静電容量変化計測装置に、基準容量Csの両端P1,P2間に第1開閉スイッチSW1を配置し、前記基準容量Csの一方端P1を第1の電位源V1に接続し、前記基準容量Csの他方端P2とセンサ電極容量Cxの一方端P3とを第2開閉スイッチSW2を介して接続し、前記センサ電極容量Cxの他方端P4を第2の電位源V2もしくは自由空間に接続し、前記センサ電極容量Cxの両端P3,P4間に第3開閉スイッチSW3を配置し、基準容量Csの他方端P2の電位Vxを測定する電位測定手段としてのコンパレータCMPが設けられている。ここで、第1の電位源V1は定電圧回路11の出力であり、第2の電位源V2は、接地部位(グランド)であり、自由空間はグランドと等価な低インピーダンスの電位である。また、コンパレータCMPの+端子に参照電圧Vrefが接続され、コンパレータCMPの−端子に基準容量Csの他方端P2が接続されている。
前述の実施形態における感度更正手段500としては、以下の実施形態のように構成してもよい。すなわち、非検出時のセンサ電極容量の計測結果Nに基づいて算出される値により閾値Thを更新するものである。

Claims (3)
- 静電容量が変化するセンサ電極を備え、
第1所定時間おきに、このセンサ電極の静電容量を、所定の基準容量に基づいた相関値によって計測する電極容量計測手段を備えて、
この電極容量計測手段による前記センサ電極の静電容量の計測値が、この計測値が得られた計測時から第2所定時間前に得られた計測値よりも所定の閾値以上の変化をすると検出信号を発生する静電容量変化検出装置であって、
特定の対象物の有無によって生じる前記センサ電極の静電容量の特定の変化と同等の容量変化を前記センサ電極の静電容量に生じさせる所定の感度補償容量を備え、
前記感度補償容量を前記センサ電極に接続した接続状態と、
前記感度補償容量を前記センサ電極に接続していない非接続状態とに切り換え可能に構成し、
接続状態での前記電極容量計測手段による前記センサ電極の静電容量の計測値と、
非接続状態での前記電極容量計測手段による前記センサ電極の静電容量の計測値との差を前記閾値とすることで、前記閾値を前記第3所定時間おきに更新する静電容量変化検出装置。 - 静電容量が変化するセンサ電極を備え、
第1所定時間おきに、このセンサ電極の静電容量を、所定の基準容量に基づいた相関値によって計測する電極容量計測手段を備えて、
この電極容量計測手段による前記センサ電極の静電容量の計測値が、この計測値が得られた計測時から第2所定時間前に得られた計測値よりも所定の閾値以上の変化をすると検出信号を発生する静電容量変化検出装置であって、
前記計測時から前記第2所定時間前に計測した前記計測値に基づいて決定される値を前記閾値とする静電容量変化検出装置。 - 前記基準容量の両端間に第1開閉スイッチを配置し、
前記基準容量の一方端を第1の電位源に接続し、
前記基準容量の他方端と前記センサ電極の一方端とを第2開閉スイッチを介して接続し、
前記センサ電極の他方端を第2の電位源もしくは自由空間に接続し、
前記センサ電極の両端間に第3開閉スイッチを配置するとともに、
前記基準容量の他方端の電位を測定する電位測定手段と、
前記第1開閉スイッチを閉状態にしてから開状態に戻す第1スイッチ操作を行った後、前記第2開閉スイッチを閉状態にしてから開状態に戻す第2スイッチ操作と前記第3開閉スイッチを閉状態にしてから開状態に戻す第3スイッチ操作とを交互に繰り返すスイッチ制御を実行するスイッチ制御手段と、
前記第2スイッチ操作の繰り返し回数をカウントするカウント手段と
を設けて前記電極容量計測手段を構成し、
前記電位測定手段によって測定される前記基準容量の他方端の電位が前記第1スイッチ操作後の初期電位から設定電位変化するまでに前記カウント手段によってカウントされた前記第2スイッチ操作の繰り返し回数を前記相関値として前記電極容量計測手段が計測するとともに、
前記基準容量を変更する基準容量変更手段を備えている請求項1又は2に記載の静電容量変化検出装置。
